Abstract

Para sahabat utama menempatkan Nabi Muhammad tidak hanya sebagai Nabi dan Utusan Allah tetapi juga pemimpin sekaligus guru kehidupan mereka yang harus ditaati dan diikuti sepanjang hayatnya. Abu Bakar as-Shiddiq, sahabat terdekatnya, mengatakan “aku tidak membuang apapun dari semua hal yang telah dilakukan oleh Rasulullah, karena aku khawatir bila aku membuangnya aku akan tersesat.

Abstract

Karawitan is an art work living, surviving and developing in Java, Indonesia. It  has a very important function in people's lives. From the Karawitan learning activities at the art group of “Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu”, it is expected to promote and increase students interest to love the culture of Indonesia through the implementation of Cultural Arts and Crafts lesson. This study aims to describe: (1) the practice of Karawitan musical art training by elementary school teachers (2) implementation of cultural arts and crafts lesson (3) supporting and inhibiting factors of Karawitan musical learning at "Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu" art group. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The management of the art group and elementary school teachers who are the participans of Karawitan were the informers of study. The interviews and observation equipped with the list of questions and also docomentation were conducted to collect the data. The results showed that (1) the elementary school teachers carry out the Karawitan musical arts as the stages of the learning. (2)  This elementary level school teacher is able to implement it in learning Cultural Arts and Crafts. (3) Supporting factors are the desire and motivation, support and motivate the family, complete facilities and infrastructure. Inhibiting factors include intelligence, and talent.Keywords: Participation; Karawitan; Elementary School Teachers; Learning Arts; Culture And Craft AbstrakSeni Karawitan sebagai salah satu cabang seni yang hidup, bertahan, dan berkembang di Jawa (Indonesia), mempunyai fungsi yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Kegiatan pelatihan karawitan di Sanggar “Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu” diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan cinta terhadap budaya, dipertahankan dan ditumbuhkembangkan pada siswa-siswa di sekolah melalui implementasi pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Praktik pelatihan kesenian karawitan oleh Guru Sekolah Tingkat Dasar (2) Implementasi pada pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelatihan karawitan di Sanggar “Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu.” Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengurus dan peserta pelatihan Sanggar “Seni Karawitan Sekar Madu. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, dan observasi yang dilengkapi dengan daftar pertanyaan serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Praktik pelatihan kesenian karawitan oleh Guru Sekolah Tingkat Dasar terlaksana dan sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pelatihan (2) Guru Sekolah Tingkat Dasar ini mampu mengimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (3) Faktor Pendukung adalah keinginan dan motivasi, dukungan dan motivasi keluarga, sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap. Faktor penghambat meliputi faktor inteligensi, dan bakat.Kata Kunci: Partisipasi; Karawitan; Guru Sekolah Tingkat Dasar; Pembelajaran Seni Budaya Dan Prakarya

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of teacher communication style to student’s motivation and learning achievement, as well as communication style that is often used by teachers in communicating with students. The method used by the author is a quantitative approach, with a sample of 10 teachers and 30 fifth grade students at SDN Ciapus 04 Bogor. The data collected in the study used a questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The data was processed using SPSS version 25 statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between teacher communication style and motivation and learning achievement of fifth grade students at SDN Ciapus 04 Bogor. It is said that the correlation is quite strong and the direction of the correlation is unidirectional. Communication style that is often used by teachers in communicating with fifth grade students is assertive communication style.Keywords: Communication Style, Motivation, Achievement
