Abstract

This study aims to determine how the role of lifestyle and income on the decision to purchase StarbucksCoffee at Center Point Medan, either partially or simultaneously. This study uses a descriptivequalitative approach to show how lifestyle and income play a role in purchasing Starbucks Coffee atCenter Point Medan. In this research. The population in this research is all Starbucks Coffee CenterPoint buyers whose exact number is not known. Sampling using the Lemeshow formula amounted to 96people. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate thatthere is a very large role and is positive and significant in lifestyle variables on purchasing decisionsfor Starbucks Coffee at Center Point Medan. It is suggested that Starbucks Center Point Medan shouldcontinue to maintain the quality of coffee that is already well-known and the facilities are goodaccording to the lifestyle and income of Starbucks customers

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of organizational culture and leadership on employee performance at PT. Gunungsitoli Branch Pawnshop. The method used is an associative quantitative method and data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a sample of 30 respondents. The data analysis methods used are instrument testing, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS 23. The research results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this is indicated by the t-calculated value of the organizational culture variable (X1) which is greater than the t-table value (2.196 > 2.052) with a significance level of 0.00 < 0, 05. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this is shown by the t-calculated value of the leadership variable (X2) being greater than the t-table value (6.741 > 2.052) with a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05. Simultaneously, it was found that organizational culture and leadership had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, this was indicated by the F-count value being greater than the F-table value (31.889 > 3.35) with a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (r2) value obtained was 0.681, which means that organizational culture and leadership variables can explain employee performance variables by 68.1%, while the remaining 31.9% is influenced by other variables outside of this research variable. It is recommended to PT. Pegadaian Gunungsitoli Branch can encourage its employees to innovate and take the lead in taking risks at work.

Abstract

The need for clean water is currently increasing, especially the need for drinking water, because the population is increasing. However, through current development innovations, people do not experience difficulties in getting clean drinking water and have passed the laboratory test as drinkable. This study aims to determine the effect of price and brand trust on the public's repurchase interest in Aqua gallon drinking water in Medan Perjuangan District. Research Methods: Shows that Price (X1) has a negative effect and does not have a significant effect on purchasing interest (Y), brand trust (X2) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest (Y). While price (X1) and Brand Trust (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing interest (Y). Conclusion: The results of this study can be concluded that Price (X1) has a negative effect and does not have a significant effect on purchasing interest (Y), brand trust (X2) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest (Y), while price (X1) and brand trust (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing interest (Y)

Abstract

The rapid progress of internet has had a positive impact on the business world. One of the sectors most positively affected is marketplace and e-commerce. The high use of e-commerce and marketplaces in Indonesia is triggered by changes in people's habits, who now prefer convenience and speed. This research aims to find out how much influence price and consumer perception have on Shopee E-commerce purchasing decisions in Medan Tembung District. The data analysis method used is an instrument test consisting of validity and reliability tests, classic assumption tests consisting of normality tests, heterosdecadasticity tests, multiple linear regression analysis tests and hypothesis tests consisting of t-tests and coefficient of determination tests (R2). Based on hypothesis testing with the t test, the value of tcount is 10.256 > ttable, which is 1.986 and the significant value of the Price variable is 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that price has a positive and significant effect on product purchasing decisions at Shopee e-commerce in Medan Tembung District.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price, product quality, and trends on thrifting purchasing decisions on Generation Z among HKBP Nommensen University Students Medan. This study was conducted using a quantitative method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Based on hypothesis testing with the t test, the t-count value for the price variable was 2.530 where the value was > from t table 1.986 and the significant value for the price variable was 0.013 <0.05 (5%). For the product quality variable, the t-count value was 0.960 where the value was <from t table 1.986 and the significant value for the product quality variable was 0.340 >0.05 (5%). For the trend variable, the t-count value was 5.874 where the value was >1.986 and the significant value for the trend variable was 0.000 <0.05 (5%). So it can be concluded, price and trend have a positive and significant effect on thrifting purchasing decisions among Generation Z among HKBP Nommensen University Students. While product quality does not have a positive and insignificant effect on thrifting purchasing decisions among Generation Z among HKBP Nommensen University Students Medan. And the f test obtained an f count value of 20.300 where this value is > from f table of 3.09. Along with a significant value of 0.000 < from a significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that simultaneously price, product quality and trends together have a positive and significant effect on thrifting purchasing decisions among Generation Z.

Abstract

The research method used in this research is a quantitative method. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of self-efficacy and occupational information on work performance among final year students at HKBP Nommensen University, Medan. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. With data collection techniques, namely a questionnaire distributed via Google to 93 respondents. The data analysis techniques used were instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and the R2 determination coefficient with the help of SPSS 27. The results of hypothesis research using the self-efficacy variable t test (X1) obtained a calculated t value of (9.77) > t table of (1.66196) with a significance value of (0.00), so it can be concluded that the self-efficacy variable has a significant effect on work performance in final year students, and the variable Occupational information (X2) obtained a calculated t value of (13.137) > t table of (1.66196) with a significance value of (0.00), so it can be concluded that the occupational information variable has a significant effect on work performance in final year students. Meanwhile, the F test obtained a calculated f value of (94.712) > f table of (3.098) with a significance value of (0.00). It can be concluded that the self-efficacy and occupational information variables on work professions in final year students have a significant effect. The R2 coefficient of determination value was obtained at 0.671 (6.71%), which states that the self-efficacy and occupational information variables are able to explain the work radiation variable by 6.71% and the remaining 33.9% is influenced by other factors whose existence is unknown.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of culinary tourism and the creative economy on tourist interest in visiting the city of Berastagi. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Based on hypothesis testing with the t test, the calculated t value for the culinary tourism variable is 2.166, where the value is > 1.986 from t table and the significant value for the culinary tourism variable is 0.01 < 0.05 (5%). In the creative economy variable, the tcount value is 2.220, where the value is > ttable 1.986 and the significant value in the creative economy variable is 0.03 < 0.05 (5%). So it can be concluded that culinary tourism and the creative economy have a positive and significant influence on tourists' interest in visiting the city of Berastagi. And the f test obtained a calculated f value of 9.855 where this value is > f table of 3.09. And the significant value is 0.000 < the significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that culinary tourism and the creative economy simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on tourists' interest in visiting.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the main factors that influence customer loyalty in the highly competitive online transportation business. Transportation has an important role in everyday life, both in urban and rural areas. Of the various types of transportation, land transportation is the most dominant in Indonesia because of its accessibility, more affordable prices and flexibility. One of the online transportation companies developing in Indonesia is In-Driver, which entered the Indonesian market in 2019 with a unique feature in the form of a negotiation system between drivers and users. In tight competition with other online transportation services such as Gojek, Grab, and Maxim, In-Driver needs to pay attention to factors that influence customer loyalty, brand image, and the value perceived by customers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Financial Knowledge and Socialization Agents on Financial Management Behavior in HKBP Nommensen University students. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Based on hypothesis testing with the t test, the calculated t value for the Financial Knowledge variable is 4.754, where the value is > from t table 0.2006 and the significant value for the Financial Knowledge variable is 0.000 < from the significance level of 0.05 (5%). So it can be concluded, Financial Knowledge has a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Behavior. And the f test obtained a calculated f value of 11,733 where this value is > f table of 3.09. And the significant value is 0.000 < the significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that simultaneously Financial Knowledge and Socialization Agents together have a significant influence on Financial Management Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and lifestyle on iPhone purchasing decisions among Faculty of Medicine students. iPhone products are known for their premium quality which is a symbol of social status, so they are chosen by many students who prioritize a modern lifestyle. This research used a quantitative method with a survey approach, where data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to 96 students from the Faculty of Medicine. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression to determine the influence of price and lifestyle on iPhone purchasing decisions. The research results show that these two variables, price in accordance with product quality and lifestyle that supports social status, have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the factors that influence premium product purchasing decisions, especially among students.
