Abstract

Research aims: This study aims to analyze the factors that influence SIMRS and examine the mediating effect of perceived ease of use on the factors that affect SIMRS. Design/Methodology/Approach: This explanatory research used a quantitative approach through survey methods. The population in this study was doctors practicing in the outpatient polyclinic of XYZ Hospital, totaling 80 doctors using the total sampling. Data collection techniques employed a scale and analyzed utilizing Smart Partial Least Square (PLS). Research findings: According to the research findings, all examined indicators were found to be positively and substantially correlated with perceived ease of use by the following variables: computer self-efficacy, trustworthiness, technological risk, facilitating conditions, and degree of openness. Although all but the degree of openness exhibited a significant correlation with perceived usefulness, the remaining indicators did not. In relation to perceived usefulness, all factors exhibited a positive and statistically significant association with perceived ease of use as a mediator.Practical and Theoretical Contribution/Originality: In terms of practical and theoretical contributions, these findings offer valuable insights for hospitals, emphasizing the importance of enhancing doctors' knowledge, openness, and confidence in adopting SIMRS technology. Recommendations offered include increasing computer literacy among doctors, mitigating risks associated with SIMRS, and improving access to healthcare services.Research limitation: In this case, the research limitation stems from the need to explore further additional characteristics, such as computer self-efficacy, trustworthiness, technological risk, facilitating conditions, and perceived ease of use, as they may impact perceived usefulness across various variables. Future research should expand its scope and population, employing comprehensive data collection techniques to maximize research outcomes.

Abstract

The world today is highly interconnected. To address the manpower shortage in Japan and the surplus in Indonesia 30 years ago, both countries developed an internship program, "Ginou Jisshu." During the internship, participants with Indonesian culture-based individual characteristics are exposed to Japanese work culture. This study aimed to investigate how interns' individual characteristics and their assimilation of Japanese work culture improve their competency and competitiveness, considering self-efficacy as a moderating factor. Using a quantitative research method, data from 400 internship alumni across 38 provinces in Indonesia were collected through Google Form questionnaires and analyzed using PLS-SEM. Out of 10 proposed hypotheses, all direct effect hypotheses were accepted, and 3 of the moderation hypotheses were accepted, while 2 were rejected. This study introduces a novel paradigm where any positive effect, regardless of statistical significance, is considered beneficial. It suggests that resolving issues, even minor ones, can amplify positive effects and mitigate negative effects. The findings reveal that individual characteristics and Japanese work culture positively affect competency and competitiveness, and competency further enhances competitiveness. Self-efficacy strengthens the impact of individual characteristics and Japanese work culture on competency, as well as the impact of Japanese work culture and competency on individual competitiveness. However, it weakens the effect of individual characteristics and competency on individual competitiveness.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized personalized learning and educational analytics, presenting new opportunities and challenges for adaptive education. This paper explores the impact of AI-driven technologies in creating personalized learning environments by examining how adaptive algorithms and data analytics shape educational experiences. The primary objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of AI in enhancing learner engagement and outcomes through tailored instructional methods. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, this research gathers quantitative data from learning management systems to analyze engagement metrics, while qualitative insights are derived from interviews with educators and students. The findings indicate that AI-driven personalized learning significantly improves both student motivation and academic performance by adapting content to individual learning needs. Moreover, educational analytics enabled by AI offer educators critical insights into student progress, enabling proactive intervention and support. However, the study also highlights concerns regarding data privacy and the potential over-reliance on AI technologies in educational settings. These findings suggest that while AI holds transformative potential, a balanced approach is necessary to integrate technology with traditional teaching methods to ensure optimal educational outcomes. The study concludes that AI can serve as a powerful tool in enhancing personalized learning and educational analytics, provided that ethical considerations and data security are prioritized.

Abstract

Several successful papers and applications have demonstrated machine learning's limitless potential. However, when we immerse ourselves in powerful machine learning-based systems or applications, two critical research issues arise: how to ensure that the searched results of a machine learning system are not tampered with by anyone and how to prevent other users in the same network environment from easily obtaining our private data. This predicament is similar to that of other modern information systems that face security and privacy concerns. The introduction of blockchain technology presents us with an alternate method of addressing these two challenges. As a result, recent research has sought to construct machine learning systems using blockchain technology or to apply machine learning methods to blockchain systems. In this study, we provided a parallel framework to identify acceptable deep learning hyperparameters in a blockchain context using a metaheuristic algorithm to demonstrate what the combination of blockchain and machine learning is capable of. The suggested system also takes communication costs into consideration by restricting the amount of information transfers between miners and blockchain.
