Abstract

The development of logical mathematical intelligence in elementary school students frequently does not reach optimal levels, particularly when mathematics instruction relies on conventional teacher-centered approaches. Such methods often provide limited opportunities for students to explore concepts actively, recognize relationships, and apply reasoning skills in solving mathematical problems related to the area and perimeter of plane figures. This classroom action research was designed to enhance logical mathematical intelligence by implementing the Generative Learning Model, which emphasizes stages of exploration, focusing, challenge, and application. The study involved 29 5B students of SD Negeri Rambutan 03 Pagi and was conducted in three cycles comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation sheets to record learning activities and essay tests to measure logical mathematical intelligence across indicators including calculation, problem-solving, pattern recognition, inductive and deductive reasoning, and cause-effect analysis. The results showed consistent improvement both in students’ performance and engagement. The average test scores increased from 58 in the pre-cycle and 68 in Cycle I, 81 in Cycle II, and 85 in Cycle III. Observations revealed that students became more active in discussing solutions, more confident in applying formulas, and more accurate in performing calculations. These findings indicate that the Generative Learning Model is effective in developing logical mathematical intelligence and offers a promising instructional strategy to support mathematics learning in elementary education.

Abstract

AbstractTeacher students who have taken the micro-teaching course are expected to master eight essential teaching competencies, namely: 1) opening and closing learning skills, 2) explaining skills, 3) questioning skills (basic, advanced), 4) variation skills, and 5)  reinforcement skills, 6) class management skills, 7) small group and individual learning skills, 8) skills to lead small group discussions. YouTube-based microteaching-learning is expected to help master the eight essential competencies even in online learning conditions such as in the  Terbuka University. This research was  R & D using two classes with 50 students for  the control classand 50 students for the treatment class. . From the results obtained in this study, the YouTube channel learning video product is proven effective in improving students' teaching abilities in microteaching courses. Hence, it is recommended for lecturers or teachers at schools to be able to complete their learning media by using videos that are integrated with YouTube to maximize the improvement of students' abilities. AbstrakSiswa guru yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah micro teaching diharapkan menguasai 8 kompetensi dasar mengajar, yaitu: 1) keterampilan membuka dan menutup pembelajaran, 2) keterampilan menjelaskan, 3) keterampilan menanya (dasar, lanjutan), 4) keterampilan variasi, 5 ) keterampilan memberi. penguatan, 6) keterampilan mengelola kelas, 7) keterampilan belajar kelompok kecil dan individu, 8) keterampilan memimpin diskusi kelompok kecil. Pembelajaran mikro berbasis YouTube ini diharapkan dapat membantu penguasaan 8 kompetensi dasar bahkan dalam kondisi pembelajaran online seperti di Universitas Terbuka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D menggunakan 2 kelas, 50 siswa masuk kelas kontrol dan 50 siswa masuk kelas perlakuan. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini. Produk video pembelajaran channel youtube terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar siswa pada mata kuliah microteaching. Disarankan kepada dosen atau guru di sekolah untuk dapat melengkapi media pembelajarannya dengan menggunakan video yang terintegrasi dengan youtube untuk memaksimalkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa.How to Cite: Sudrajat, A., Darojat, O., Soleh, D. Abstract

The classroom environment plays a significant role in determining the success of learning processes, especially regarding students’ concentration. Concentration is a crucial factor that influences how well students can absorb and understand learning materials. This article is presented as a literature review aimed at evaluating the impact of various physical aspects of the classroom on students’ ability to maintain focus throughout the learning process. The research uses a literature review approach, involving the collection, examination, and analysis of relevant previous studies. The review findings indicate that factors such as adequate lighting, comfortable room temperature, low noise levels, and a well-organized classroom layout significantly affect students' concentration levels. Therefore, designing classrooms with attention to these physical elements is a key strategy in creating a learning atmosphere that is both conducive and effective, especially at the elementary education level

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Game Edukasi Muatan IPA Materi Organ Pencernaan Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Dari data hasil uji coba menggunakan analisis kebutuhan, peneliti menemukan beberapa permasalahan yang dialami 1) Peserta didik mengalami kejenuhan dan sulit fokus saat pembelajaran 2) Media pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang menarik 3) Peserta didik aktif menggunakan smartphone. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru membutuhkan sebuah pengembangan media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan sehingga peserta didik tertarik dan antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian dari pengembangan ini menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Dikarenakan adanya pandemic covid-19 media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi ini diuji cobakan hanya pada ahli media, ahli materi, uji coba pengguna small group, dan field test secara online. Hasil uji coba ini memperoleh skor rata-rata 98% untuk ahli materi, 80% dan 85% untuk ahli media. Hasil uji coba pengguna 95,2% untuk tahap small group, dan 95,8% untuk tahap field test. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi termasuk ke dalam kategori “Sangat Baik (SB)” sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) Tema 3 “Organ Pencernaan” Kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Writing narrative skills are crucial in developing language abilities; however, manystudents face difficulties in writing narrative compositions correctly. This study aimsto analyze the errors in narrative composition writing among upper-gradeelementary school students. The research uses a literature review method, whichinvolves planning, searching and selecting, analysis, and synthesis stages. Thesearch was conducted through Google Scholar, limited to national journals indexedin SINTA 1-6 from 2021 to 2025, resulting in 10 relevant journals. The findings showthat the most frequent errors are the improper use of capital letters, punctuationmarks, inaccurate word choices, ineffective sentence structures, and insufficientdevelopment of the composition's content. These errors reflect students' weakunderstanding of linguistic rules and narrative elements. This study recommends astep-by-step and continuous writing learning process to help students improve theirwriting skills comprehensively.
