Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dalam kimia dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah kooperatif dengan integrasi penggunaan buku teks di sekolah menengah atas yang dikembangkan dengan belajar menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah kooperatif dalam buku teks siswa. (2) Pembelajaran berbasis masalah kooperatif dengan integrasi buku teks SMA yang bisa meningkatkan hasil siswa dalam kimia. (3) Perbedaan-perbedaan yang akan meningkatkan hasil belajar terutama bagi siswa dalam kimia yang dipelajari dengan buku teks siswa integrasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah kooperatif yang dikembangkan dengan pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah kooperatif untuk buku teks siswa. (4) Integrasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah kooperatif dengan buku teks SMA yang dikembangkan dengan nilai karakteristik siswa. (5) Hubungan karakter siswa dengan hasil dalam kimia dengan menggunakan buku teks kimia integrasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah kooperatif di SMA yang telah dikembangkan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA X MMS di Kabupaten Batubara untuk semester kedua di 2014/2015 yang belajar dengan kurikulum 2013. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 sekolah di Batubara yang dibagi menjadi dua kelas di setiap sekolah. Kelas eksperimen belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah kooperatif yang integrasi dengan buku teks kimia di atas yang telah dikembangkan dan kelas eksperimen II menggunakan masalah kooperatif pembelajaran berdasarkan buku teks yang kimia siswa integrasi di sekolah. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah uji keberatan dari hasil belajar dan lembar observasi dari karakter siswa. Cara analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Compare Means – Independent Samples T- test programme SPPS 16.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan untuk hipotesis pertama, ketiga, dan lima menunjukkan Sig. < α (0,000 <0,05). Hipotesis kedua menunjukkan nilai di kisaran gain 51%. Sehingga, integrasi pembelajaran buku teks kimia SMA berbasis masalah kooperatif yang yang telah dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada pelajaran kimia. Hipotesis keempat menunjukkan kisaran tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh modul kimia larutan yang inovatif terinternalisasi karakter. Jenis penelitian termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA yang ada di MAN 1 Medan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA 7 dan kelas XI MIA 8 MAN 1 Medan. Sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) uji kelayakan buku ajar kimia yang ada di sekolah berdasarkan standar BSNP, diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,39. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku tersebut sudah cukup layak digunakan, hanya saja perlu direvisi (2) Berdasarkan validasi dari dosen dan guru kimia terhadap pengembangan modul kimia larutan yang inovatif terinternalisasi karakter, modul tersebut sudah sesuai dengan standar BSNP. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata perolehan nilai sebesar 3,75 (3) Berdasarkan validasi rubrik penilaian karakter dalam modul kimia larutan yang inovatif terinternalisasi karakter, nilai- nilai karakter yang ada pada modul berada pada kriteria sangat baik, hal ini ditunjukkan pada nilai rata-rata validasi oleh validator sebesar 4,42 (4) Hasil belajar siswa setelah proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan modul kimia larutan yang inovatif terinternalisasi karakter lebih baik dibandingkan dengan proses pembelajaran menggunakan buku di sekolah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai sign < 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,001 (5) Tumbuh kembang karakter siswa selama proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan modul kimia larutan yang inovatif terinternalisasi karakter diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,11, sedangkan tumbuh kembang karakter siswa dengan menggunakan buku yang ada di sekolah diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 81,38. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, modul kimia larutan yang inovatif terinternalisasi karakter baik digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada materi larutan kelas XI SMA/MA.

Abstract

Pengembangan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS berupa tes disusun berdasarkan kebutuhan siswa pada kurikulum 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan instrument penilaian berbasis HOTS yang valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R and D) dengan model pengembangan Brog and Gall yang telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket lembar validasi, tes, dan angket respon siswa. Untuk teknik analisis data digunakan analisis validasi dari pakar, analisis kepraktisan melalui angket praktisi (guru), analisis keefektifan melalui tes serta angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi materi yang terdiri dari isi, penyajian dan bahasa sebesar 84.86% pada kategori sangat baik, validasi evaluasi sebesar 92,21% pada kategori sangat baik, hasil tanggapan guru sebesar 82% pada kategori sangat baik dan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami soal-soal kemampuan berpikir tinggi (HOTS) sebesar 40.829 pada kategori sedang/cukup dengan tingkat respon siswa sebesar 86% dalam kategori sangat praktis. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi sudah terdapat dalam instrumen penilaian sehingga dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan dan alternatif bagi guru dalam pemilihan instrumen penilaian pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang mendukung proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Abstract: Development of Three-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostc Test Instruments for Measuring Students’ Misconceptions in Chemical Bonding. The aim of this study is to determine the need for the development of a three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test instrument in measuring students' misconceptions about chemical bonding material and to know the results of measuring misconceptions using a three- tier multiple choice diagnostic test instrument. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Rantau Selatan in July 2021 - February 2022. The sample used in this study were students of class X MIA SMAN 1 Rantau Selatan who failed to achieve the KKM value on chemical bonding material. The development in this study used the ADDIE model with two trials. The conclusion of this research are showed that the three tier multiple choice diagnostic test instrument that has been developed meets the characteristics of the substance of the instrument to measure misconceptions in chemical bonding material, the validity of the test was 20 valid question and 20 invalid question. The reliability test showed a realiability lift 0.84. There are 40.3% of students who have misconceptions. For the category of not understanding the concept there are 57.3% of students and the category of understanding the concept there are 2.4% students.  Keywords: three-tier multiple choice, misconception, chemical bond. Abstrak: Pengembangan Instrumen Tes Diagnostik Three Tier Multiple Choice Untuk Mengukur Miskonsepsi Siswa Pada Materi Ikatan Kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan pengembangan instrumen tes diagnostik pilihan ganda tiga tingkat dalam mengukur miskonsepsi siswa pada materi ikatan kimia dan untuk mengetahui hasil pengukuran miskonsepsi menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik pilihan ganda tiga tingkat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Rantau Selatan pada bulan Juli 2021 – Februari 2022. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMAN 1 Rantau Selatan yang tidak mencapai nilai KKM pada materi ikatan kimia. Pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan dua kali uji coba. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah instrumen tes diagnostik pilihan ganda tiga tingkat yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi karakteristik substansi instrumen untuk mengukur miskonsepsi pada materi ikatan kimia, validitas tes menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat 20 pertanyaan valid dan 20 pertanyaan tidak valid. . Uji reliabilitas menunjukkan hasil reliabilitas sebesar 0,84. Hasil pengukuran adalah terdapat 40,3% siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi. Abstract

Abstract: Development of Three-Tier Diagnostic Test Instruments to Measure Misconceptions on Atomic Structure. This study aims to measure misconceptions in atomic structure of tenth grade students at SMA Swasta Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa. This research was conducted in October 2021-February 2022. The type of research used was Research and Development with the development of ADDIE. Instrument used are tests, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The diagnostic test developed is a three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test consisting of answer choices, reasons and confidence levels. The results of the validation by the validator show that the instrument developed is valid. The validity of the test developed was 16 valid questions and 4 invalid questions. The results of the reliability test showed a reliability lift of 0.82. The highest percentage of misconceptions is on the concept of electron configuration by 52% and the lowest percentage of misconceptions on the concept of making up atomic particles (protons, electrons, and neutrons) is 21.17%. The percentage of students who understand the concept of atomic structure is 23%. The percentage of categories that do not understand the concept of atomic structure is 32% and the percentage of the category of misconceptions of the concept of atomic structure is 45%.  Keywords: atomic structure, misconception, three-tier multiple choice. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jppk.v11.i1.2022.14

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in student learning outcomes in terms of student learning activities through the implementation of cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) assisted by animation media and cooperative learning model type student team achievement divisions (STAD) assisted by power point media. This research will be conducted at SD Negeri 11 Rantau Selatan in Class VI the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, where researchers can determine samples based on specific objectives. The researcher determined that the sample in the study consisted of 2 classes, namely class VI a as a class of cooperative learning model type STAD assisted by animation media as many as 33 people, and class VI as many as 33 people as a class of cooperative learning model type STAD assisted by Power Point media. The instruments used were the Observation Sheet and the Test / Question Sheet. Measurements were made by Reliability, Distinguishing Power Analysis, Descriptive Data Analysis, Prerequisite Test Analysis, Two Ways ANOVA Hypothesis Test Analysis. The results of the study There are differences in learning outcomes in the sub-theme of Tumbuhan Sahabatku between those taught with the Cooperative Learning Model Type Student Team Achievement Division with animation aided with the Cooperative Learning Model Type Student Team Achievement Division assisted by Media Power Point in Class VI SD Negeri 11 Rantau Selatan, There are differences in results study of students who have high learning activities in the sub-theme of Tumbuhan Sahabatku, and there is an interaction between learning models and learning activities in influencing student learning outcomes in the sub-theme of Tumbuhan Sahabatku.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability, feasibility, and integration of character and psychomotor in class XI senior high school chemistry practicum guidebooks used in schools with BSNP criteria. This study is a research and development model modified from the Borg & Gall model. In this study, there are 5 stages carried out; The needs analysis stage, the development stage, the validation stage, the revision stage and the product trial. This research trial was conducted at the Satrya Budi Perdagangan private high school, Simalungun regency. The sample in this study was taken by using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used BSNP questionnaires, test instrument sheets, character assessment observation sheets, and psychomotor assessment observation sheets. Research result; (2) The innovative chemistry lab guide based on multimedia for class XI Semester II is integrated with character education according to The 2013 curriculum is included in the valid and feasible category for use on average (3) The practicum guide developed can develop the character education values of students, this can be seen from the increase in the attitude value of students before and after using an innovative chemistry-based practical guide multimedia class XI senior high school Semester II integrated character education according to the 2013 curriculum. (4) There are differences in the learning outcomes of students who use an innovative chemistry practicum guide based on multimedia high school grade XI Semester II integrated character education according to the 2013 curriculum with students who use a chemistry lab guide for students with sig. < α (0.000 < 0.05) (5) There are differences in the attitude (character) and psychomotor (skills) values of students who use innovative chemistry lab guides based on multimedia high school grade XI Semester II integrated character education according to the 2013 curriculum with students using chemistry lab guide guide for students.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia since middle-March 2020 has undergone significant changes. Online learning to answer questions is a solution to the virus problem that has spread to cut cases of the Covid-19 virus using online media. Edmodo is a learning application that the application can use in bold type learning, including atomic structure material. This study analyzes the Edmodo-based understanding used for learning media on atomic structure material and how students respond to the Edmodo application in chemistry learning, especially atomic structure material. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the effectiveness of learning was 69%, application sustainability during the pandemic was 76%, ease of access was 97%, ease of communication was 61%, the clear assessment was 84%, and understanding of the material Edmodo was 59%. Implementing chemistry learning consists of (1) choosing Edmodo as a bold learning medium in chemistry learning based on analyzing student needs with reasoning and mastery of applications; (2) planning the application as a student learning medium as described in the Semester Learning Plan; (3) implementation in Edmodo-based online learning is carried out well and smoothly based on semester learning plan; and (4) edmodo as an application can help carry out chemistry learning in atomic structure subjects to measure student learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that Edmodo is a practical application to use during the Pandemic of Covid-19. Keywords: Covid-19 virus, edmodo, implementation of edmodo, online learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of instrumentation requirements, the feasibility category of the Higher Order Thinking Skills an assessment instrument in terms of an expert validation. The research and the development model applied is 4-D (four-D) model.  The trial design consisted of content validation tests by experts and analyzed by Aiken's formula. The assessment instrument obtained 37 items that are suitable for use, which means the assessment instrument has met the content validity by the expert judgment which has been analyzed using Aiken's V of 0.85, which means that all items are valid.Keywords:4D model, HOTS, Instrument, Rasch model, Salt hydrolysis

Abstract

The chemistry module which integrated with Islamic values has already developed in thermochemistry and reaction rate. The aim of this research is to find the availability of Islamic values in student’s handbook, the proper of chemistry module design based on BSNP criteria, and the response to chemistry module which integrated with Islamic values to teacher and university student. This research used the method of research and development. It consists of 3 steps which were analysis, design, and development. The instruments were checklist, questionaire based on BSNP criteria, and response questionnaire. The result shown the lack of Islamic value in student’s handbook, chemistry module design was proper to used because it got the BSNP’s criteria. The teacher and university student’s response are good and need no revision.
