Abstract

This study investigates the impact of advertising effectiveness on online purchase decisions on e-commerce platforms, focusing on Shopee, using the EPIC Model (Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, and Communication). It also examines the moderating role of brand image in this relationship. Employing a quantitative approach with descriptive and causal methods, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to active Shopee users. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) model to assess the relationships between advertising effectiveness, brand image, and purchase decisions. The findings indicate that advertising effectiveness significantly and positively influences online purchase decisions. Furthermore, brand image plays a crucial role in strengthening the relationship between advertising effectiveness and purchase decisions, highlighting its importance in enhancing the impact of advertisements on consumer behavior. This study emphasizes the need for e-commerce platforms to implement effective advertising strategies and cultivate a strong brand image to foster consumer loyalty and drive purchasing decisions. These insights offer valuable guidance for marketers to optimize advertising outcomes in competitive e-commerce environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze empirical evidence of the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at the local brand Elizabeth in Bandar Lampung. The problem studied in this study is whether there is a positive relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction at the local brand Elizabeth in Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is the correlation method. The population in this study were customers of the local Elizabeth brand in Bandar Lampung, where the sample was taken using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling with a total sample of 122 customers. The instrument reveals the data in a structured scale with five answer choices. The measuring tool to collect data is a questionnaire with 71 item statements. Based on the results of hypothesis testing and simple linear regression, it was obtained that the t value was 38,586 with a significant level of 0.000, while the t table with n = 122 and α = 0.05 received a value of -.678. It can be assumed that t count ≥ t table (38,586 > -.678 or sig < 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05), then Ha is accepted while H 0 is rejected. While the R Square value in this study is 0.925, meaning that service quality is related to customer satisfaction by 93%. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it is concluded that there is a relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction at the local brand Elizabeth in Bandar Lampung. The magnitude of the relationship is 93%, while other factors influence 7%.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of mindful leadership and organizational commitment on employee performance in an organizational context. Mindful leadership is a leadership approach that integrates full awareness and attention in managing teams and organizations, while organizational commitment reflects the level of attachment, loyalty, and employee involvement. This study uses a quantitative approach by applying a questionnaire to employees of SMA in Bandar Lampung City. The collected data were analyzed using statistical regression techniques to examine the relationship between mindful leadership, organizational commitment, and employee performance. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of how these factors interact and influence employee performance in the work environment.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of online marketing on purchasing decisions among young female consumers in the Indonesian urban cosmetics market. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 70 female respondents aged 16-24 years through a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression to examine the impact of social media marketing, particularly on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, on purchasing behavior. The results show that online marketing has a statistically significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions, with social media promotions playing a significant role in influencing brand awareness and purchase intention. The regression analysis shows a positive relationship between online marketing and purchasing decisions, underscoring the effectiveness of digital platforms in shaping consumer behavior. These findings highlight the importance of strategic data-driven online marketing, particularly for local cosmetic brands targeting Gen Z consumers. This study contributes to the growing literature on digital marketing and consumer behavior in emerging markets, and offers practical implications for marketers seeking to enhance their competitiveness in the digital economy.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a widespread behavioral issue among junior high school students, commonly marked by delays in completing schoolwork, preference for leisure activities such as gaming or social media, and difficulties in managing time effectively. Academic resilience the ability to persist through academic challenges is considered a potential protective factor against procrastination. This study investigates the effect of academic resilience on student procrastination among junior high school students in Pesawaran, Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, with data collected through a 74-item Likert-scale questionnaire. A total of 163 students were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The instrument was tested for validity and reliability prior to analysis. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that academic resilience significantly affects student procrastination (p < 0.05), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.782. This means that 78.2% of the variance in procrastination can be explained by academic resilience, while the remaining 21.8% is attributed to other unmeasured factors. These findings underline the importance of integrating resilience-building strategies into educational interventions to mitigate procrastination behaviors. The study contributes to the literature on student motivation and offers practical insights for educators and school counselors seeking to enhance student engagement and academic discipline.

Abstract

Baterai zinc-carbon adalah baterai primer yang menghasilkan listrik melalui reaksi redoks dan banyak digunakan pada alat elektronik rumah tangga karena murah dan praktis. Baterai ini bersifat sekali pakai, sehingga setelah energinya habis menjadi limbah yang mengandung logam berat berbahaya bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan, jika dibuang tanpa pengelolaan yang tepat. Namun, limbah baterai dapat dimanfaatkan kembali sebagai sumber energi listrik dengan penambahan larutan elektrolit tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh variasi konsentrasi larutan Natrium Klorida (NaCl) terhadap peningkatan tegangan listrik daur ulang baterai zinc-carbon untuk menyalakan lampu LED 2 Watt. Metode eksperimen digunakan dengan menambahkan variasi konsentrasi larutan Natrium Klorida (NaCl) sebesar 5%, 10%, dan 15% yang dituangkan ke dalam pasta arang karbon dari daur ulang baterai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan larutan garam 15% menghasilkan tegangan tertinggi, sebesar 3,60 Volt, serta mampu menyalakan lampu LED selama 14 jam. Disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi larutan NaCl, semakin besar tegangan yang dihasilkan dan semakin lama daya tahan daur ulang baterai untuk menyalakan lampu LED. Selain itu, pemanfaatan kembali daur ulang baterai dengan metode ini dapat mengurangi limbah baterai dan dampak pencemaran lingkungan.
