Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian  ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan media software PhET sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Mataram. Pengambilan sampel digunakan dengan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas X Asta 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah kelas X Asta 4. Data hasil prestasi belajar dianalisis dengan uji-t pihak kanan dan diperoleh data untuk ranah kognitif  thitung = 4,05 dan ttabel = 1,67; sedangkan untuk ranah psikomotor thitung = 2,28 dan ttabel = 1,67 pada dk = 51 dengan taraf signifikan 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan thitung > ttabel  maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan software PhET sebagai media pembelajaran berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Mataram.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBergesernya pola belajar pada masa pandemi ini menjadi inspirasi terlaksananya kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini. Dimulai dengan belajar penuh dari rumah hingga masuk sekolah secara bergantian. Mitra pada kegiatan ini adalah MTs NW Kilang Yang terletak di Kecamatan Montong Gading. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi  guru-guru adalah belum memahami  bagaimana proses belajar secara daring baik secara full mauoun secara blended learning. Hal tersebut berdampak pada belajar hanya dilakukan  secara tatap muka selebihnya diberikan  PR untuk dikerjakan di rumah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan guru-guru MTs NW Kilang agar bisa melaksanakan belajar secara daring dimulai dengan blanded learning. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara tatap muka langsung dengan metode seminar, praktik dan tanya jawab. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari 10 orang peserta yang berasal dari berbagai guru Mata pelajaran. Setelah kegiatan ini dilaksanakan, diharapkan peserta pelatihan mampu memahami konsep blended learning secara baik serta mampu menerapkankannya dikelas masing-masing. Pelaksanaan blended learning dengan google classroom dipilih karena google classroom  sudah lebih familiar di kalangan peserta dibandingkan dengan yang lainnya. Untuk tahap pembelajaran penggunaan google classroom merupakan pilihan yang tepat. Ada beberapa tahapan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu tahap persiapan dimana pelaksana kegiatan berdiskusi dengan pihak sekolah mengenai permasalahan yang dihadapi selama pandemi sehingga perlu dicarikan solusi yang tepat. Tahapan kedua adalah pelaksanaan kegiatan, dimana pelaksanaan kegiatan dan jenis kegiatan yang dilakukan pada tahapan ini tergantung dari hasil diskusi pada tahap persiapan. Kata kunci: pembelajaran; blended learning ABSTRACTThe change in learning patterns during this pandemic has inspired the implementation of this Community Service activity. Starting with full learning from home to attending school alternately. The partner in this activity is MTs NW Kilang which is located in Montong Gading District. The main problem faced by teachers is that they do not understand how the online learning process is carried out either in full or in blended learning. This has an impact on learning only done face-to-face, the rest are given homework to do at home. This activity aims to prepare MTs NW Kilang teachers to be able to carry out online learning starting with blended learning. This activity is carried out face-to-face with the method of seminars, practice and question and answer. Participants in this activity consisted of 10 participants from various subject teachers. After this activity is carried out, it is hoped that the training participants will be able to understand the concept of blended learning well and be able to apply it in their respective classes. The implementation of blended learning with Google Classroom was chosen because Google Classroom was more familiar among the participants than the others. For the learning stage, the use of Google Classroom is the right choice. There are several stages carried out in this activity, namely the preparation stage where the implementer of the activity discusses with the school about the problems faced during the pandemic so that it is necessary to find the right solution. The second stage is the implementation of activities, where the implementation of activities and the types of activities carried out at this stage depend on the results of discussions at the preparation stage.. Keywords: learning; blended learning

Abstract

This study aims to see an overview of the use of the right and left brain of STMIK Mataram students and how much it affects the achievement of their learning outcomes. This type of research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and test questions. The data analysis technique was carried out by using descriptive statistics and simple regression analysis to determine the closeness of the correlation coefficient between the independent variable (X), namely the level of use of the right brain and left brain and the dependent variable (Y), namely student learning outcomes. The results showed that in general, the level of use of the students' right brain was moderate with a percentage of 34.375%. The number of students who think using the right brain in the very high category is 6.25%, the high category is 31.25%, the low and very low category is 25% and 3.125%. The level of use of the students' left brain is classified as moderate with a percentage of 56.25%. Students who think using the left brain are in the very high category of 9.375%, the high category is 15.625%, the low and very low category is 12.5% ​​and 6.25%. Meanwhile, for the achievement of learning outcomes in general, the learning outcomes score was classified into the low category with a value range of 53 - 65 as many as 12 people (37.5%), 8 people (25%) and very high respectively. 4 people (12.5%). While the determinant coefficient obtained was 31.7%. In other words, that the use of the right brain and left brain has an effect of 31.7% on the calculus learning outcomes achieved by students.

Abstract

Guru-guru MA Nurul Iman Mamben lauk  berusaha melakukan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013. Kurikulum 2013 yang telah dicanangkan Pemerintah untuk dilaksanakan disekolah mengalami berbagai kendala. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memberikan  gambaran tentang Pandangan guru  MA Nurul Iman Mamben Lauk terhadap High Order Thingking Skill (HOTS). Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian Survey dengan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan angket tertutup yang dibagikan langsung kepada Responden. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 80% responden sudah  mengetahui konsep HOTS sedangkan 20% belum. Selanjutnya 80% telah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS dan 20 % belum menerapkan. Sebesar 12,5% merasa kurang dalam rujukan, kemudian 37.5% merasa kesulitan dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran. Sebesar 50% merasa kesulitan merancang dan mendapatkan media pembelajaran, dan 75% merasa waktu yang dibutuhkan lebih banyak. Sebanyak 75% merasa kesulitan dalam menyampaikan materi secara tepat dan 37.5 % kesulitan dalam penyusunan bahan ajar. Kesulitan paling besar ada pada merancang evaluasi yaitu 100% responden merasa kesulitan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan TOEFL Prediction kepada para Dosen non-bahasa Inggris di kalangan kampus Universitas Teknologi Mataram sebagai dasar untuk mengikuti tes sertifikasi dosen (SERDOS). Metode yang dilakukan dalam pelatihan ini adalah ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Pemateri terlebih dahulu memberikan pre-test kepada peserta untuk mengetahui ilmu dasar para peserta agar bisa dikelompokkan ke dalam kelas basic dan intermediate. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan pada bulan Januari sampai Maret, 2 kali dalam seminggu pada hari senin dan kamis. Pelatihan TOEFL dibagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu 1 bulan awal adalah Listening Section, tahap kedua pada bulan kedua adalah Structure and Written Expression dan terakhir adalah Reading Comprehension. Hasil yang didapat adalah para peserta mendapatkan nilai yang sangat memuaskan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in MTs. NW Mamben. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The research sample is class VIII even semester students of 2021-2022 MTs NW Mamben. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes, especially in student activities. The students' activities that increased the most were group discussion activities when completing projects and answering questions. This shows that learning with the PBL model has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to see whether ICT-assisted STEM-based science learning can improve students' critical thinking and creative thinking skills. The population consisted of 3 classes and one class with a total of 28 students was selected. In students' critical thinking skills there was an increase from 68.15 to 82.44 and N-gain was 0.45 in the medium category. Students' creative thinking abilities also increased from 75.80 to 87.90 and N-Gain was 0.54 in the medium category. Referring to the results, it can be concluded that ICT-assisted STEM-based science learning can improve students' critical thinking and creative thinking skills so that students are expected to be able to compete in the very complex 21st century.

Abstract

The existence of a world disaster called Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) which still exists recently. This virus makes many changes to the world. When the virus first appearance, the people panic about it and now is has started normal since the vaccine program was implemented. From there, the international community began massively implementing vaccines to fight the effects of Covid-19, including Indonesia, which had recorded high transmission of Covid-19. One of the community services being carried out to prevent Covid-19 is by holding free vaccinations for vulnerable communities. The total data on vaccine recipients is 834 people organized by Filantropi Indonesia in collaboration with Non-Governmental Organizations in West Nusa Tenggara. The conclusion of this article is that there has been an increase in the number of people receiving vaccination services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the mind mapping-assisted guided inquiry learning model on physics learning outcomes in class X students of SMK Al Amin Kilang. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was all students of class X SMK Al Amin Kilang, and the samples selected were class X TKJ A as the experimental class and class X TKJ B as the control class. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through the results of students' physics learning on magnetism material. Data analysis techniques were carried out using a two-party t test. From the analysis of the two-party t-test data, it was obtained that t count > t table at a significant level of 5%, namely t count = 2.341 > t table = 2.000. From the results of the study, it was found that the average value of the experimental class using the guided inquiry model assisted by mind mapping was higher when compared to the control class using the conventional learning model (lecture). These results indicate that the use of the mind mapping-assisted guided inquiry learning model has a positive effect on the physics learning outcomes of class X students at SMK Al Amin Kilang in the 2022-2023 Academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to see what applications are commonly used by teachers in teaching physics with blended learning. This study uses a literature review method. from the search results retrieved four articles that represent the use of the application as a facilitator in applying the blended learning model to learning physics. The applications used in the articles that were successfully reviewed were the Zoom Meeting, Whatapp, PHeT simulation, Quipper School, and Edomo applications. Based on the review results, it was found that each application has its own advantages. but both are able to improve learning outcomes and student independence in learning. Especially for the PHet simulation application, students who have low abilities have lower scores when using blended learning assisted by the PHet simulation. Whereas students who have high abilities have higher scores when using the PHeT simulation. This is because each student requires proficiency in using technology, availability of facilities and sufficient ability or understanding to maximize the potential of the media PhET simulation
