Abstract

Al-Quran merupakan kitab suci umat Islam yang mempunyai fungsi sebagai hudan (petunjuk), bayan (penjelasan mengenai petunjuk itu), dan furqān (pembeda antara yang benar dan batil) bagi manusia. Meskipun disebut Allah SWT sebagai ciptaan-Nya yang paling sempurna, manusia diciptakan dengan sifat yang berpotensi menimbulkan dosa yang meliputi halūʻā (suka mengeluh), ẓalūmā (berbuat zalim), jahūlā (bodoh), jadalā (suka membantah), dan lain-lain. Salah satu potensi dosa tersebut adalah prasangka. Dalam al-Quran, prasangka ini disebut dengan ẓann. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami makna kata ẓann dalam al-Quran menurut Muhammad Asad dalam tafsirnya yang berjudul The Message of The Quran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan adalah analisis isi (content analysis) dengan menggunakan metode tematik. Data penelitian ini diambil dari tafsiran Muhammad Asad pada kata ẓann yang muncul sebanyak 69 kali dalam 32 surat al-Quran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muhammad Asad memaknai ẓann berdasarkan dua kategori yaitu ẓann yang berpotensi salah dan ẓann yang pasti benar. Ẓann yang berlandaskan pada nafsu, lemahnya iman, dan tanpa bukti yang memadai akan berpotensi menjadi salah. Sedangkan ẓann yang pasti benar adalah yang disandarkan pada wahyu dan keyakinan penuh kepada Allah SWT.

Abstract

The figure of Prophet Muhammad is a guide and role model of the whole matters of life for the Muslims. It was starting from religious to domestic matters. Likewise, with the problem of clothing, the Prophet has been guided through his sunnah, written in the hadith. Today, some Muslims attempt to reviving the sunnah and embodying it in their life. The phenomenon of reviving the sunnah with jargon back to the Quran and Sunnah has seemed familiar to us. This paper tries to explore how the Salafi of Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz al-Qur’an Harun as-Syafi’i, Karangkajen, Yogyakarta recepties and embodies the isbal hadiths in their daily life. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a living hadith approach.  In this research, the Salafi has the high spirit of reviving and embodying every sunnah of the Prophet. Thus, the sunnah is not only mute text, but it becomes the living hadith (in this case is non-isbal clothes). The Salafi, understanding this hadith, was obliged to Muslims wearing non-isbal clothes. This manner reflects two models of reception, namely exegetical reception and functional reception

Abstract

Categorization of the Meaning of Lafadz Nazhara in Surah Al-Naml from the Perspective of Mustafa Al-MaraghiThis study aimed to determine the meaning of lafaz nazhara in Surah An-Naml according to Ahmad Musthafa al-Maraghi, in his book that titled Tafsr Al-Marâghî. This research is a library research that uses a qualitative approach. The analysis technique used is content analysis using the thematic method. The data of this study were taken from the Tafsr Al-Marâghî book on the word of nazhara in the surah An-Naml. This study concluded that, Ahmad Musthafa al-Maraghi categorizes the meaning of lafadz nazhara in An-Naml's letter into three categories, namely; first, word nazhara spoken by Allah SWT to disbelievers means an order to pay attention to the power of Allah SWT, as well as a threat from Allah SWT for their disbeliefer, second, word nazhara spoken by fellow humans who have the same level, meaning as an order to consider decisions, and can also be used as a test to find out the truth, while the third, word nazhara which are spoken by fellow creatures but have different positions, that is, to test someone's honesty, and can also be a command to understand some information

Abstract

The Arabic language teaching has been developed rapidly through this modern era as a result of the world wide acceptance to study this language. Language enthusiasts as well as the scholars have noticed some development of Arabic language on several ways as well as its advancement according to the linguistic and geographic condition of learners. This study aims to understand some differences of Arabic language teaching for students who speak in single rooted language and students who speak in multiple rooted language. The single rooted language one took a sample from Assalam Islamic Boarding School where all of the student came from single rooted language, Malay language. While another one took a sample from An-Nile Center of Arabic Language Study for Foreigner, Cairo where the students came from several roots of languages, such as Malay, European, Russian, Turkish, African, and so on. In addition, this study aims to understand some difficulties and challenges the students and teachers face, and compare the percentage results of 4 language development skills between the two groups. The result of this study, based on those two institutions’ Arabic teaching methods, it is concluded that the comparison result of 4 language skills shows that the Arabic teaching method for Multiple Rooted Foreign Speakers (Taken from An-Nile Arabic Language Center) is better than Arabic teaching for the single rooted language speakers, especially on the speaking skill. In another side, we found that one of reasons why Arabic teaching method for foreigners from single rooted language speakers is weaker— is due to the tendency of language teachers to perform translation for Arabic words into their own particular language and the less of creative media invention uses which allow them to explain Arabic words with Arabic language.

Abstract

Hadist dan Ilmu hadist merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu diniyah yang banyak dikaji oleh umat Islam, dari masyarakat awam, sampai dengan para intelektual. Hal ini karena hadist merupakan hujjah dan sumber ke-2 Syariat Islam setelah Al-Qur`an di dalam Islam. Kenyataannya, penulisan dan kodifikasi hadist telah dimulai pada masa thâbi’in dan terus berlanjut hingga saat ini. Tentunya, tidak semua riwayat yang dituliskan oleh para perawi dalam kitab merupakan hadist yang shahih mutlak, melainkan juga hadist yang berderajat lebih rendah. Imam Tirmidzi salah satunya, ia dilahirkan pada masa puncak keemasan perkembangan ilmu hadist pada akhir abad ke-2 H. Ia menulis kumpulan hadist Jâmi’ at-Tirmidzi setelah menyelesaikan perjalanan intelektualnya yang panjang. Dalam penulisannya, ia mensyaratkan bahwa semua hadist tersebut merupakan hadist yang bisa dijadikan landasan hukum syar`i dan diamalkan oleh para ulama pada masa itu. Pada penelitian ini, penulis mendeskripsikan tentang Imam Tirmidzi dan metode penulisan kitab hadist Jâmi’ at-Tirmidzi. Salah satu kesimpulannya, Imam Tirmidzi bukan hanya mencantumkan hadist yang berderajat shahih saja, melainkan juga hasan maupun dhaif. Namun demikian ia menyebutkan kualitas hadistnya dan menunjukkan kelemahannya serta memberikan alasan tertentu dalam pencantumannya. Penelitian ini akan membantu umat untuk lebih memahami sumber hukum kedua dalam Islam

Abstract

The management and development of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten (TK ABA) Cairo is still needs to be improved. Meanwhile, currently the ABA Cairo Kindergarten is the only Indonesian private kindergarten in Egypt and is a reference for early childhood education for the Indonesian people in Cairo. The fundamental problem faced by ABA Cairo Kindergarten is that it doesn’t have a standard curriculum document that promotes the advantages and characteristics of the stake holders in the education unit. The purpose of this International Collaborative Community Service (PkM-KI) activity is to assist in the preparation of curriculum documents that are adapted to the spirit of an independent curriculum. This PkM implementation method uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, by actively involving partners in the participation and action dimensions. The target for the implementation of this PkM is the compilation of the ABA Cairo Kindergarten curriculum document. The result of this PkM KI is the arrangement of curriculum document which was legalized by the competent authority. Abstrak Pengelolaan dan pengembangan Taman Kanak-kanak ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (TK ABA) Kairo masih sangat perlu ditingkatkan. Sedangkan pada saat ini TK ABA Kairo merupakan TK swasta Indonesia satu-satunya yang ada di negara Mesir dan merupakan rujukan bagi Pendidikan anak-anak usia dini bagi masyarakat Indonesia Kairo. Permasalahan mendasar yang dihadapi oleh TK ABA Kairo, yaitu belum memiliki dokumen kurikulum baku yang mengunggulkan kelebihan dan ciri khas stake holder satuan Pendidikan tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Kolaborasi Internasional (PkM-KI) ini adalah mendampingi penyusunan dokumen kurikulum yang disesuaikan dengan spirit kurikulum merdeka. Metode pelaksanaan PkM ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), dengan melibatkan mitra secara aktif dalam partisipasi dan dimensi aksi. Target capaian pelaksanaan PkM ini yaitu tersusunnya dokumen kurikulum TK ABA Kairo. Hasil PkM KI ini adalah tersusunnya dokumen kurikulum pencetak generasi emas yang disahkan oleh pejabat berwenang. Abstract

This article discusses the debate of ulama' Nusantara in determining the content in Qs. Ali Imran verse 64 which is categorized as mubahalah verse or da'wah verse. This difference in opinion of the 'Nusantara ulama' can cause controversy among the public, so there is a need for definite clarity in determining the content of the verse, whether it is classified as a mubahalah verse or classified as a da'wah verse? Thus, the purpose of this article is to clarify the content of Qs. Ali Imran verse 64, by comparing the opinions of the four Mufassir Nusantara through the literature study method by collecting data on the opinions of the four scholars' from various sources such as books, journals, and existing researches, as well as collecting and describing in detail verses that can be identified into the category of da'wah verses. This research resulted that Qs. Ali Imran verse 64 can be categorized as a mubahalah verse when viewed from the historical side of the descent of the verse, but this verse can also be used as a benchmark for da'wah verses because it contains elements of da'wah, including such as exclamations, in line with the purpose of da'wah, etc.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the resilience of calamity in the Qur'an. This research is a literature research that uses a qualitative approach. The analysis technique used is content analysis using the thematic method. The data of this research is taken from the verses of the Quran and assisted by interpretation sourced from the books of Tafsir. This study concluded that resilience to calamity in the Qur'an found three kinds: patience, repentance, and tawakkal. Patience is explained by the Qur'an in the story of Prophet Ayyub when he had a disaster in the form of illness. Repentance is defined by the Qur'an in the story of the prophet Adam when he received a disaster in the form of being lowered to the earth. Tawakkal is explained by the Qur'an in the story of the prophet Ibrahim when he was burned alive by King Namrud. These three values can be formulated and become one of the methods of spiritual resilience in the Qur'an.

Abstract

Hurun 'in is a beauty that Allah promises to his servants as a pleasure for those who fear him. One of the pleasures that Allah promises to his servants, a companion in heaven, is the pure white angels with black eyeballs and beautiful eyes. A figure who has a beautiful nature and character that is always awake from goodness and beauty. The purpose of this study was to search for a broader meaning of the meaning of hurun 'in. In this study, the author uses the research method of tafsir maudhu'i by collecting verses in the Qur'an that have the same meaning. And then the author discusses with the tahlili method which refers to the book of tafsir ath-Tahabari by Abu Ja'far Muhammad bin Jarir Ath-Thabari. The results of this research in the view of Abu Ja'far Ath-Thabari the author found several meanings of hurun 'in his tafseer in interpreting the verses of hurun 'in.

Abstract

Religious moderation is an important concept in maintaining balance, tolerance, and harmony in a diverse society. In this context, the interpretation or interpretation of religious teachings has a very significant role. Tafsir allows for a deeper and contextual understanding of sacred texts, which in turn can support religious moderation programs. This article examines the role of tafsir in supporting religious moderation programs by focusing on several key aspects, namely: how tafsir can avoid radicalization, promote tolerance between religious communities, and strengthen national values within the framework of religious diversity. Through literature analysis and case studies, it was found that inclusive and contextual interpretation can be an effective tool in preventing extremism and promoting a harmonious life in a pluralistic society. Therefore, the involvement of interpreters in religious moderation programs is a must to ensure that the religious messages conveyed are in harmony with the values of moderation and nationality. This article concludes that interpretation plays a key role in shaping a moderate and inclusive understanding of religion, which is essential for the success of religious moderation programs.
