Abstract

Abstrak Pelatihan ini sendiri bertujuan untuk dapat mengenalkan sumber sejarah sebagai sarana dalam meneroka peristiwa yang ada di masa lalu. Seperti diketahui, dalam ranah keilmuan sejarah, sumber menempati urutan yang utama dan penting dalam tahapannya. Hal ini berkenaan dengan kegunaan sumber sebagai sarana utama untuk merekonstruksi sebuah peristiwa yang telah terjadi di masa lalu. Pelatihan ini dirancang sebagai upaya agar kemudian masyarakat yang meminati sejarah secara umum, dan mahasiswa jurusan sejarah kebudayaan islam khususnya dapat mengetahui mengenai artian akan sumber sejarah serta bagaimana cari penelahaannya kemudian di 2 (dua) tempat penelusuran, yakni dalam hal ini ialah Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia (ANRI) dan Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring dengan jumlah 100 orang peserta yang tersebar di zoom meeting dan kanal youtube. Abstract This training itself aims to be able to introduce historical sources as a means of exploring events that occurred in the past. As is known, in the realm of historical scholarship, sources occupy the main and important sequence in its stages. This relates to the use of sources as the main means to reconstruct an event that has occurred in the past. This training is designed as an effort so that people who are interested in history in general, and students majoring in the history of Islamic culture in particular can find out about the meaning of historical sources and how to find their studies then in 2 (two) places of search, namely in this case are National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia. (ANRI) and the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. This activity was carried out online with a total of 100 participants spread over the zoom meeting and youtube channel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan platform Gamma AI dalam pembuatan presentasi pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan, mencakup efektivitas Gamma dalam mempercepat pembuatan presentasi, peningkatan kualitas visual dan interaktivitas presentasi, serta dampak AI Gamma pada pembelajaran peserta didik.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan platform Gamma berbasis kecerdasan buatan dalam pembuatan presentasi pembelajaran memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap proses belajar mengajar. Gamma mampu mempercepat pembuatan presentasi dengan fitur otomatisasi desain dan penyusunan konten, sehingga guru dapat lebih fokus pada pengembangan materi dan interaksi dengan peserta didik. Selain itu, Gamma meningkatkan kualitas visual dan interaktivitas presentasi melalui template yang menarik dan elemen multimedia, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan peserta didik. Platform ini juga mendukung pembelajaran personalisasi dengan menyesuaikan materi sesuai kebutuhan dan gaya belajar peserta didik, serta memfasilitasi kolaborasi antar pengguna untuk hasil yang lebih optimal

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) have long been central to Indonesia’s educational and cultural landscape, serving as custodians of Islamic learning and community values. However, the rise of digital education has prompted pesantren to reconsider their roles in preparing students for the demands of the 21st century. This study explores how pesantren in Makassar negotiate the integration of digital technologies while preserving their traditional functions. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis across three pesantren with varying levels of digital readiness. Thematic analysis revealed four key findings: first, pesantren exhibit different levels of digital readiness shaped by institutional resources and leadership commitment; second, teaching practices are gradually shifting toward blended pedagogies where digital tools complement traditional halaqah methods; third, challenges such as infrastructural gaps, digital literacy disparities, and cultural resistance continue to limit adoption; and fourth, pesantren are redefining their identity as hybrid institutions that combine religious tradition with technological innovation. These findings underscore that pesantren in Makassar are not merely adapting to digital transformation but actively reshaping their educational mission. Policy support, teacher training, and community collaboration are essential to ensure inclusive and context-sensitive digital integration within pesantren.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of the case study model in Social Studies learning at public junior high schools in Makassar, focusing on its impact on students’ conceptual understanding. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with two teachers and 60 students, and analysis of student worksheets and reflective journals. The findings reveal that teachers applied the case study model by integrating real-life local issues, such as urban flooding and waste management, into classroom instruction. This approach successfully engaged students in active inquiry, group discussions, and reflective analysis. Students reported higher motivation and found Social Studies more relevant to their daily lives, while teachers observed improvements in students’ analytical reasoning and ability to connect abstract concepts with real-world contexts. The analysis also showed that 38% of students achieved a high level of integrated conceptual understanding, moving beyond memorization to application and evaluation. Despite challenges related to time management and unequal group participation, the benefits of case-based learning outweighed its limitations. The study concludes that the case study model aligns with the Merdeka Belajar curriculum and constructivist principles, offering an effective strategy to foster deeper learning, civic awareness, and critical thinking in Social Studies classrooms in Indonesia.

Abstract

Peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam mengembangkan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) di sekolah-sekolah Toraja bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui metode yang lebih kreatif, kontekstual, dan partisipatif. Kegiatan ini menyediakan platform bagi guru untuk memahami prinsip-prinsip PjBL, merancang proyek pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum, mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal Toraja ke dalam proyek, meningkatkan keterampilan mengelola kelas berbasis proyek, serta membangun kemampuan evaluasi dan refleksi pembelajaran. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, diharapkan guru dapat meningkatkan kompetensi profesional dan pedagogik, siswa memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna, serta tercipta budaya pembelajaran inovatif di sekolah.
