Abstract

Slow and bad administrative services are a phenomenon that people commonly complain about. The responsiveness of public services has become a phenomenon. Public service institutions can provide fast, firm, and uncomplicated services as well as commit and respond to excellent public services. Responsive services are a service model expected to be established in all institutions in Indonesia at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Ambon City. Based on data analysis of NVIVO 12 Plus software analyzing 100 research articles about responsive public services that had been carried out in the previous year, it is found that there is still a lack of Scopus data publication documents published by Indonesian researchers in the theme of responsive public services. The research on the responsive aspect of services has not optimally discussed the aspects of service quality, information technology, organizational culture, work experience, work motivation, lack of facilities, cooperation, and work procedures. Therefore, this study aims at analyzing data from interviews regarding the responsive public services at the Population and Civil Registry Office of Ambon City focusing on these eight aspects using the NVIVO 12 Plus software.

Abstract

Kegiatan edukasi penulisan book chapter ini bertujuan untuk membangun budaya menulis ilmiah di kalangan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM). Edukasi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya ilmiah yang terstruktur dan sesuai kaidah akademik. Melalui metode pelatihan terpadu, yang mencakup pemaparan materi, praktik penulisan, serta pendampingan intensif, kegiatan ini membekali mahasiswa dengan pemahaman mendalam tentang teknik dan struktur penulisan book chapter. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan mahasiswa menyusun naskah ilmiah yang logis, sistematis, dan siap untuk dipublikasikan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini turut mendorong kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dan dosen pembimbing serta menciptakan atmosfer akademik yang lebih produktif dan berkelanjutan di lingkungan kampus.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the implementation of accounting learning assessments by secondary school teachers in Mamuju City, West Sulawesi, as well as developing contextual assessment-based lesson studies. The research uses a research and development (R&D) approach with the subject of junior high school accounting teachers. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model which includes data collection, reduction, presentation and verification. The validity of the data was tested through triangulation of methods and sources. The results show that the assessment includes affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects. Affective assessment includes spiritual and social attitudes, each of which uses self-assessment techniques as well as observation, reflection journals, and peer assessment. Cognitive assessment is carried out through tests and assignments, while psychomotor assessment involves projects, performance and portfolios. Development was carried out on assessment instruments for these three aspects, including improvements to techniques, instruments, and timing of assessment implementation.

Abstract

The transition to the digital education era requires teachers to play a role as learning facilitators that is responsive, adaptive, and capable of accommodating the dynamics of change in the teaching and learning process. In this context, teacher professional allowances are expected to serve as a means to enhance welfare while also promoting the professionalism of educators. This paper aims to explore the relationship between professional allowances, work motivation, and the construction of teacher performance in facing educational challenges in the digital era. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach based on literature review, this article examines the extent to which professional allowances can drive teachers' internal motivation and shape professional performance in line with the demands of digital transformation. The findings indicate that targeted allowance provision can enhance work enthusiasm, innovation in learning, and overall teacher performance quality. However, issues such as complex administrative burdens in the disbursement process and suboptimal distribution remain obstacles that need to be addressed. Therefore, more efficient, inclusive professional allowance policies are necessary to meet teachers' needs for professional development in the digital era.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam dunia pendidikan tinggi, khususnya bagi mahasiswa yang berada pada tahap akhir studi. Penguasaan keterampilan ini bukan hanya mencerminkan kemampuan berpikir ilmiah, tetapi juga menentukan kelulusan dan kontribusi dalam bidang akademik. Salah satu permasalahan umum dalam penulisan karya ilmiah adalah pengelolaan referensi yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Artikel ini membahas pelatihan penggunaan software Mendeley sebagai alat bantu pengelolaan referensi untuk mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM). Melalui pelatihan intensif, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu mengelola referensi dan menyusun sitasi secara sistematis dan efisien, sehingga kualitas karya ilmiah meningkat. Artikel ini juga menyajikan hasil evaluasi pelatihan yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menulis ilmiah setelah mengikuti pelatihan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara pengembangan ekonomi kreatif dan peran bahasa asing dalam pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Di tengah globalisasi yang semakin pesat, sektor ekonomi kreatif menjadi salah satu pilar penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi modern, yang melibatkan industri-industri berbasis kreativitas dan inovasi, seperti seni, desain, teknologi informasi, dan media. Di sisi lain, penguasaan bahasa asing menjadi kompetensi kunci yang memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk berinteraksi di pasar global dan memperluas peluang kerja internasional. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memahami bagaimana pendidikan bahasa asing di perguruan tinggi dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan keterampilan yang diperlukan dalam sektor ekonomi kreatif. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui survei terhadap mahasiswa dan dosen di beberapa perguruan tinggi yang menawarkan program studi terkait ekonomi kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan bahasa asing tidak hanya memperluas wawasan mahasiswa, tetapi juga memperkuat daya saing mereka di pasar global, terutama dalam industri kreatif yang semakin bergantung pada kolaborasi internasional. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyoroti tantangan yang dihadapi perguruan tinggi dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan bahasa asing dengan program-program ekonomi kreatif. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menyarankan agar perguruan tinggi mengembangkan kurikulum yang lebih terintegrasi antara kedua elemen tersebut untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan kesiapan karir mahasiswa di tingkat global.This research aims to explore the relationship between the development of the creative economy and the role of foreign languages in higher education. Amidst rapid globalization, the creative economy sector has become one of the important pillars in modern economic development, involving industries based on creativity and innovation, such as arts, design, information technology, and media. On the other hand, proficiency in foreign languages has become a key competency that enables students to interact in the global market and expand international job opportunities. Therefore, it is important to understand how foreign language education in higher education can contribute to developing the skills needed in the creative economy sector. This research adopts a quantitative approach by collecting data through surveys of students and lecturers at several universities that offer study programs related to the creative economy. The research results indicate that foreign language skills not only broaden students' perspectives but also strengthen their competitiveness in the global market, especially in the creative industry that increasingly relies on international collaboration. Furthermore, this study also highlights the challenges faced by higher education institutions in integrating foreign language education with creative economy programs. Based on these findings, this study suggests that higher education institutions develop a more integrated curriculum between these two elements to enhance the quality of education and students' career readiness at a global level.

Abstract

Higher education has undergone a significant transformation in recent decades with the rapid adoption of digital technologies. One technology that plays an important role in this change is a multimedia-based e-learning system. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using multimedia-based e-learning in improving students' academic skills. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved students from various study programs in universities that use multimedia-based e-learning platforms. The results showed that the use of multimedia-based e-learning has a positive influence on improving material understanding, student engagement, and overall academic achievement. Specifically, students who used multimedia-based e-learning experienced a significant increase in their academic scores compared to students who used traditional learning methods. These findings indicate that multimedia-based e-learning technology can be an effective solution to improve the quality of learning in higher education, especially in an educational context that increasingly relies on digital technology.

Abstract

The study aims to be able to provide a comprehensive view of research and research related to climate change mitigation issues conducted by researchers from Indonesia. The search results found that the publication of articles through the Crossref and Scopus databases were 700 publications of articles on the issue of mitigation and climate change from the period January 2012 to the period December 2022. The results of article selection using the PRISMA method found 140 articles that met the qualifications. The analysis of research findings is divided into the number of studies per year, the type of research, research objectives, the area of science of the article, the distribution of authors, and the number of articles cited and publishers who often publish articles related to climate change mitigation issues during 2012-2022 in Indonesia.

Abstract

: Currently, technology is increasingly sophisticated with the development of the era of globalization. The development of the modern era, makes today's society follow the increasingly developing modernization, competition between televisions presents interesting programs. Likewise, TVRI as a Public Broadcasting Institution has problems that must be resolved immediately, starting from human resources, programs, and broadcasting facilities and infrastructure. Based on this background, researchers are interested in conducting a study entitled "Broadcasting Service Quality in Increasing the Satisfaction of National TVRI Viewers". Researchers chose the title intending to know the quality of National TVRI broadcasting services in increasing viewer satisfaction and know the dimensions of service quality. This study uses the theory of Service Quality, namely services that satisfy the community by service standards and principles of public service or viewers. The dimensions of Service Quality are Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. This study uses the post-positivism paradigm through a qualitative descriptive approach and uses interview and observation methods to collect the required data. Based on the research results, it was concluded that in terms of broadcasting services, it is necessary to pay attention again, as they are still not by the expectations or needs of the audience, and suggestions are made for TVRI broadcasting services to improve the provision of education to high-achieving employees for development.

Abstract

Border regions play a crucial role in strengthening national sovereignty and supporting development based on local potential. Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan, which borders Sarawak, Malaysia, prioritizes the tourism sector in its development plans. However, implementing tourism policies in this region has not been optimal. This study aims to analyze the implementation of tourism development policies in border areas using Merilee S. Grindle's policy implementation theory, which examines two main aspects: policy content and implementation context. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study, through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The research findings show that although the existing policies align with the direction of border area development, several issues have emerged in their implementation. There are gaps in the distribution of benefits, a lack of involvement from local stakeholders, and a mismatch between policy content and the implementation context. The main constraints identified are weak intersectoral coordination, low community participation, and limited institutional capacity. These findings suggest that successfully implementing border tourism policies requires governance based on collaboration and participation. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen coordination among relevant sectors, enhance local community participation, and improve institutional capacity to support more effective policies.
