Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan individu yang mengalami proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang sangat pesat, bahkan dikatakan merupakan suatu lompatan perkembangan. Anak usia dini mempunyai rentang usia yang sangat berharga dibandingkan usia selanjutnya, karena perkembangan kecerdasannya sangat luar biasa. Penanaman karakter harus dilakukan sejak dini, agar karakter tertanam kuat dalam diri anak hingga dewasa. Usia dini merupakan masa kritis dalam pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang penanaman karakter tanggung jawab pada anak usia dini melalui aktivitas fisik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpul data berdasarkan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang didapatkan di lingkungan TK Sekolah Alam Indralaya Utara. Analisa data yang dilakukan melalui pendekatan Miles dan Huberman melalui pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas jasmani sangat efektif dan solusi dalam menanamkan karakter tanggung jawab pada anak adalah melalui pendidikan jasmani dengan menerapkan langsung pada anak, pendekatan yang baik kepada anak dan melakukan perbaikan serta mengulanginya. Adapun keterbatasan penelitian ini berfokus pada penanaman karakter pada anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran fisik anak usia dini. Early childhood is an individual who experiences a very rapid process of growth and development, even said to be a developmental leap. Early childhood has a very valuable age range compared to later ages because the development of intelligence is very extraordinary. Character cultivation must be carried out from an early age so that character is firmly embedded in children until adulthood. Early childhood is a critical period in character formation. This research aims to provide information about the cultivation of responsibility in early childhood through physical activity. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with data collectors based on observations, interviews, and documentation obtained in the kindergarten environment of North Indralaya Nature School. Data analysis is carried out through the Miles and Huberman approach through data collection, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. The results of the study show that physical activities are very effective, and the solution to instilling the character of responsibility in children is through physical education by applying a good approach to children, making improvements, and repeating them. The limitations of this study focus on instilling character in early childhood through early childhood physical learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of digital tools, particularly educational videos, in enhancing early childhood cognitive skills at Pertiwi Indralaya Kindergarten. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on the Miles and Huberman framework, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and documentation involving 20 children aged 4–5. Findings reveal that 55% of students exhibited "Very Well Developed" cognitive skills, while 45% were "Developing as Expected," with no children in lower categories. Key cognitive areas improved included problem-solving, memory retention, and logical reasoning, supported by a balanced integration of digital and traditional learning methods. Challenges such as maintaining focus and avoiding screen dependency underscore the need for structured guidance. The study concludes that combining digital and conventional strategies can foster cognitive development, highlighting the importance of teacher facilitation and responsible technology use in early childhood education.

Abstract

This article examines the role of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) curriculum in developing children's potential from an early age. The research aims to explore how an effective curriculum can optimize holistic child development through a comprehensive approach. The study employs a qualitative method with field research conducted at KB Indah Mulya, in Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatera. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis utilized Miles and Huberman's interactive model, comprising data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research findings reveal that effective PAUD curriculum implementation can develop children's potential through three main components: learning planning, execution, and evaluation. Early childhood education institutions with child-centered approaches and educators qualified with S1 in PAUD demonstrated significant success in optimizing physical-motor, cognitive, language, socio-emotional, artistic, and moral development. The study emphasizes the importance of a responsive, meaningful curriculum aligned with each child's individual developmental stage.

Abstract

Collaboration between parents and teachers is very important in instilling personality traits in early childhood. Because currently, several things that parents are focusing on are children's character in an era of increasingly sophisticated technology. Meanwhile, early childhood is the best time to build children's character which will influence their behavior in the future. For this reason, this research aims to find out about the implementation of collaboration between parents and teachers in instilling children's character from an early age. This case study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an approach developed by Miles and Huberman, including the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The location of this research was carried out at Kb Al-Farah, Seri Kembang III Village. With children aged 3-4 years. The research results show that collaboration between educators and parents is very important in shaping the disciplinary character of early childhood. The research results also show that open communication, regular meetings, team formation, providing positive reinforcement, and consistency in educational approaches are all important factors in shaping the disciplinary character of early childhood in Kb Al-Farah Seri Kembang III village.

Abstract

Asesmen berbasis perkembangan merupakan pendekatan penilaian yang menekankan proses pertumbuhan anak secara holistik dan berkesinambungan yang mencakup keenam aspek perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami penerapan asesmen berbasis perkembangan dalam pendidikan usia dini yang berjumlah 22 orang anak di TK Pertiwi Indralaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TK Pertiwi telah menerapkan asesmen melalui observasi naturalistik, catatan anekdot, dan portofolio. Secara persentase, aspek perkembangan anak berada pada kategori baik sampai sangat baik, yaitu: kognitif (BSH 40,90%, BSB 31,81%), bahasa (BSH 36,36%, BSB 50%), motorik halus dan kasar (BSH 45,45%, BSB 54,54%), sosial-emosional (BSH 40,90%, BSB 36,36%), dan moral-spiritual (BSH 50%, BSB 50%). Asesmen digunakan tidak hanya untuk merancang pembelajaran yang adaptif, tetapi juga sebagai jembatan komunikasi antara guru dan orang tua. Penerapan ini selaras dengan Kurikulum Merdeka dan teori perkembangan dari Piaget, Erikson, Vygotsky, dan Gardner. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu, pelatihan, dan pemanfaatan teknologi masih menjadi hambatan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi dalam dunia pendidikan usia dini khususnya pada sumber wawasan dalam menerapkan asesmen berbasis perkembangan yang efektif untuk menilai proses perkembangan anak

Abstract

Assessment in early childhood education is an assessment process carried out to determine the improvement of children's development. This study focuses on children's language development. This study aims to identify effective assessment methods in measuring the language development of early childhood at RA Al-Fur'qon Prabumulih. This study is a field study with a descriptive qualitative approach. While the data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Not only that, children aged 4-5 years here already understand simple instructions and are able to answer basic questions given by the teacher. In addition, the results of the study also found that the combination of direct observation in daily activities, the use of portfolios, game-based assessments, and parental involvement are the most effective methods at RA Al-Furqon Prabumulih. These methods are considered capable of providing a comprehensive and natural picture of children's language abilities. However, the use of assessment technology is still limited and needs to be improved. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of collaboration between teachers and parents in the field. So that the assessments carried out only apply in schools. This study implies the need for teacher training and integration of digital technology in improving the quality of early childhood assessment.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran inovatif dan kreatif makin memudar. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor di antaranya kurang kompetennya guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelaajaran dan kurangnya minat anak dalam proses pembelajaran yang selalu saja membaca, menulis, menghitung dan menggambar atau mewarnai. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka peneliti menerapkan media dadu geometri dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif dan motorik anak usia dini di TK Pertiwi Indralaya. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 7 orang serta guru dan wali murid. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan pada analisis data dimulai dari pengumpulan data, penyaringan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kemampuan kognitif terjadi peningkatan yang semula rata-rata mulai berkembang menjadi berkembang sesuai harapan dengan persentase yang didapatkan sebesar 71,42% anak berkembang sesuai harapan dan 28,57% berkembang sangat baik. Sedangkan pada kemampuan motorik anak didapatkan 42,85% berkembang sesuai harapan dan 57,14% berkembang sangat baik.

Abstract

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) curriculum plays a crucial role in supporting the development of creativity and intelligence in children. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the ECE curriculum in enhancing children's creativity through a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from interviews with educators, parents, and observations of activities in several ECE institutions. The results indicate that curricula integrating play, art, and exploration activities significantly improve children's critical and innovative thinking abilities. However, challenges such as limited facilities and a lack of understanding of creative approaches still persist. Recommendations include the need for collaboration between educational institutions and parents, as well as enhanced training for educators to create a more supportive learning environment. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a more adaptive and responsive ECE curriculum that meets children's needs.

Abstract

The learning method often used in preschool institutions is the lecturing method or the question and answer method. If the methods are continuously applied, children's learning motivation can decrease, especially in religious and moral values learning within the scope of Islamic education. A method that can increase children's motivation and development is needed, such as the singing method. The singing method can improve the development of children's religious and moral values. This research is field research with a descriptive quantitative approach. The researchers collected the data using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the observation results' average or mean. The analysis found that the singing method could increase the development of children's religious and moral values. So it can be concluded, the singing method can be used effectively if applied properly because it is fun and can increase learning motivation. This method can be an alternative for teachers in developing religious and moral values.
