Abstract

Children and adolescents are the future leaders. During the Corona Virus Disease-19 (Covid-19) pandemic today, Indonesian youths need special attention so that they are not confirmed or not become a source of transmission. They must be healthy and safe.The purpose was to analysis of adolescent adherence in implementing 6-behaviors as a form of commitment to prevent the transmission and spread of Covid-19. The research design is observational. The population is youths aged 12-25 years who live in the territory of Indonesia. A sample of 1027 people were taken using a simple random technique. Data was collected during 1 - 7 July 2020. The instrument used was a google form which was distributed through the enumerator network. Data analysis was carried out descriptively related to the 6 measured behaviors. Results: youths’ adherence in preventing transmission and spread of Covid-19 to always use a mask 62%, wash hands 63.15%, maintain physical distance 67%, social distancing 71.18%, reduce mobility 77.6% and efforts to improve physical health and body immunity 44.35%. Overall, most youths (64.2%) adhered to always implement the 6-behaviors according to the health protocol. Continuous education is needed so that more Indonesian youths are obedient and committed to implement health protocols.Abstrak: Anak dan remaja adalah pemimpin masa depan. Pada masa pandemi Corona Virus Desease-19 (Covid-19) dewasa ini, remaja Indonesia perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus agar mereka tidak terkonfirmasi atau tidak menjadi sumber penularan. Mereka harus sehat dan aman dari dampak covid-19.Tujuan penelitian adalahanalisis kepatuhan remaja dalam mengimplementasikan 6-perilaku sebagai bentuk komitmennya dalam mencegah penularan dan penyebaran Covid-19.Disain penelitian adalah Observasional. Populasi adalah semua kawula muda Indonesia berusia 12 - 25 tahun, berada di wilayah Indonesia. Sampel sejumlah 1027 orang yang diambil dengan teknik acak sederhana. Pengambilan data dilakukan tanggal 1 – 7 Juli 2020. Instrumen menggunakan google form yang disebarkan melalui jejaring enumerator. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif terkait 6 perilaku yang di ukur. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan kawula mudadalam mencegah penularan dan penyebaran Covid-19 untuk selalu menggunakan masker 62%, mencuci tangan 63,15%, menjaga jarak fisik 67%, menjaga jarak sosial 71,18%, mengurangi mobilitas dengan tetap tinggal di rumah 77,6% dan upaya meningkatkan kesehatan fisik dan imunitas tubuh 44,35%.  Conclusions: Secara keseluruhan sebagian kawula muda (64,2%) patuh untuk selalu menerapkan 6 perilaku sesuai protokol kesehatan. Perlu edukasi terus menerus agar remaja dan kawula muda Indonesia lebih banyak yang patuh dan berkomitmen menerapkan 6 perilaku sesuai protokol kesehatan.

Abstract

Purpose: The change in society from cash payments to cashless payments in various aspects of life is called the cashless society phenomenon. Citizens are starting to use various cashless payment methods, starting from cards or digital wallets. One of the digital wallets in Indonesia that provides various payment services is DANA. The aims of this research were (1) to describe the cashless society phenomenon in South Jakarta City, (2) to describe the use of the DANA digital wallet as a post-pandemic payment tool in South Jakarta City, and (3) to identify obstacles to using the DANA digital wallet in South Jakarta City. Methodology: This research applied qualitative research with a phenomenological research design. The subjects of this research consisted of nine sources with the criteria involving three teenagers aged 16-18 years, three teenagers aged 18-25 years, and three young families whose members aged 20-35 years. The data collection techniques in this research involved interviews, observation, and documentation. This research employed interactive data analysis techniques. Results: The results of the research show that (1) the cashless society phenomenon in the citizens of South Jakarta City tends to be dominated by online shopping activities via e-commerce, (2) the reason the citizens of South Jakarta City use the DANA application compared to other applications is that the DANA application is easy to use. Apart from that, the use of the DANA digital wallet application by merchants who have collaborated with the application tends to be used for purchasing credit and internet data as well as money transfer transactions (3), and problems with using the DANA application occur for several application users, such as problems with errors in the application which cause transaction disruption occurs so that the transaction fails. Even so, this is no different from other digital wallets.

Abstract

Purpose: The program “Sekolah Penggerak” (School Activator) implemented in Indonesia in the recent years is conducted to encourage school principals in realizing an advanced Indonesia that is sovereign, independent, and has personality through the creation of Pancasila Students. One of the indicators of Pancasila Students is global diversity. This study aims to explore how two senior excellent high schools in Surakarta manage multicultural education especially on developing students’ character “global diversity” (kebhinekaan global). The schools are chosen as activators and motors of the country’s educational transformation program. Both are characterized by having students with various cultures (religion, ethnicity, gender, economic social background, and culture). Methodology: This is a qualitative study in which the researcher applied ethnography. To collect the data, the researcher interviewed the three schools’ principal, teachers, and students. In addition, the researcher observed the schools and collected documents. Results: The findings show that the schools principals plan the education character by involving teachers, staffs, and parents. To monitor the implementation, the principals assign the senior teachers to help them monitor the implementation. They also revitalize the school activities which encourage students with various background to communicate and collaborate. Evaluation and Reflection are conducted once a month.

Abstract

In the recent years, there has been a concern on how to make an innovative learning in the classroom in order to provide supportive learning environment. Such learning environment can be constructed in which it also highly relates to the learning media used by the teacher. Learning media are utilized to transfer lesson into easier way before it was delivered to the students. The main objective of this research was to describe the perception of teacher candidates who were still in the undergraduate degreeregarding with the use of board game as one of the learning media. This research was quantitative research and utilized questionnaire to collect the data. The objects of this research were 129 teacher candidates in the Department of Geography Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The questionnaires were distributed in two days by using simple random sampling by the method of accidental sampling in which it was given to the teacher candidates who came to the lecturer. Descriptive statistics was used to interpret the data. In general, the teacher candidates perceived the potential of the board game as a learning media in order to increase the interaction between teachers and students in the classroom. The teacher candidates also had sufficient understanding on the implementation of the board game.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has affected all sectors of life, including education. The education system during the COVID-19 pandemic was implemented by distance learning or online learning, which required students and lecturers to master information technology. The purpose of the research is to find out how the impact and application of online learning is in the Accounting Education Study Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, as well as to find out student responses regarding lecturers' teaching performance during online learning during the covid- 19 pandemics. This study uses qualitative research with data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the situation of lecturers who experience changes in teaching performance has an effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 is an era where humans are required to innovate, be creative, and be able to understand science and technology. Strengthening character education needs to be applied to form good morals based on national character in era of Society 5.0. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of character education in the Accounting Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. In addition, this study aims to determine the challenges in implementing character education in the era of Society 5.0. This type of research is qualitative research with a site data analysis research methods. The results of the study indicate that character education is important which is carried out by utilizing technology and information. Implementation carried out in the form of religious values, nationalism, integrity, independence, and mutual cooperation.

Abstract

Business to consumers based e-commerce is a business carried out between business people and consumers. ECommerce is part of e-business, where the scope of e-business is wider, not just commerce but also includes collaborating with business partners, customer service, job vacancies etc. This study aims to describe the development of e-commerce in increasing sales of Queen Fashion products through promotion. This study uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The object of this research is the owner, employee and customer of Queen fashion. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Research sources include owners, employees and customer of Queen fashion. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, generally subjective. In conclusion, promotion through e-commerce with the existing marketplace in Queen fashion, can expand the marketing of Queen fashion products to outside the Sragen Regency area, and can be accessed quickly. With this e-commerce can make it easier for consumers to order, choose products, transactions and others. E-Commerce has a very good impact on sales of Queen fashion products, this is based on sales and orders.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research. This study aims to describe the influence of economic literacy and social environment on impulsive buying behavior through online shop media in Karanggeneng village community. The sample used in this study was the Karanggeneng village community, totaling 152 samples. Samples were taken through random sampling method. The data collection method used a questionnaire that was applied in the google form. The result of this research is that economic literacy has no significant and positive effect on impulsive buying behavior, because the value of tcount -2.141 < ttable 1.655. While the social environment has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying behavior, because the value of tcount is 3,221 > ttable 1,655. And the combination of economic literacy and social environment has a significant and positive influence on impulsive buying behavior, because the calculated f value is 8.918 > f table is 3.06.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of family environmental financial literacy and pocket money on the financial management of students of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This research method uses a quantitative approach with the type of research used is comparative causal, using questionnaires shared via google form as an instrument in data collection techniques. The population in this study is students who are or have taken financial management courses, while the object is students of the accounting education study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and obtains the following results: 1) financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on student financial management, 2) the family environment has a positive and significant effect on student financial management, 3) pocket money has no influence or has a negative influence on student financial management, 4) financial literacy, family environment, and pocket money simultaneously has an influence on student financial management.

Abstract

The research aims to explain the effectiveness of PAUD teachers in using powtoon animation web-based video media by promoting adaptive children in facing the destructive era . The method in this study uses development that produces products in the form of powtoon animation web-based learning video media. Before using the media, a validation test was carried out by media expert validators and material expert validators. Based on the results that have been obtained, powtoon web-based learning video media is a medium that can and should be used by teachers in teaching at Aisyiyah PAUD throughout Surakarta City. This is indicated by the results of media feasibility which reached an average score of 96.30. Suggestions for PAUD teachers are that this media is expected to be able to facilitate students to learn independently accompanied by parents at home because the ease of technological developments that are right on target will be able to combat destructive content.
