Abstract

Covid-19 self-isolation is an effort made to prevent the transmission and spread of covid-19, by staying at home accompanied by monitoring health conditions and continuing to carry out health protocols, and keeping a distance from other family members. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on students' knowledge and attitudes about COVID-19 self-isolation at SMPN 1 Bangsal Mojokerto 2022. The research design used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test post-test design approach. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling with a total sample of 55 students of SMPN 1 Bangsal Mojokerto. The measuring instrument used is a pre-post test questionnaire. This research was conducted in May 2022. The results showed that almost half of the knowledge pre-test was in the sufficient category (45.5%) while the post-test results showed that most of them were in the sufficient category (74.5%). The pre-test on attitudes showed more than half in the moderate category (52.5%), then the post-test results showed almost all in the good category (78.2%). Based on the calculation of the Wilcoxon statistical test with p-value = 0.000 <a that is 0.05, H0 is rejected. Ha is accepted, so there is a significant influence on the Pre-Post test of students' knowledge and attitudes about COVID-19 self-isolation. The more information received, the more students' knowledge and attitudes about COVID-19 self-isolation will increase. Thus, it is recommended for schools to always cooperate with health workers to provide counseling about COVID-19 self-isolation.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a disease characterized by defecation more than three times a day with changes in the form and consistency of loose stools which may be accompanied by vomiting or bloody stools. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between environmental indicators on the household PHBS concept, namely the use of clean water, CPTS behavior and the use of healthy latrines with the incidence of diarrhea in RW 02 Blandongan Village, Pasuruan City. The research method is a correlative descriptive using a contingent coefficient test to determine the correlation between variables. Retrieval of data using a questionnaire with a crosssectional approach. The number of samples is 148 respondents with random sampling. Based on the descriptive analysis, it was found that 17 families experienced diarrhea. Based on the correlation analysis, it is known that the strength of the relationship between the independent variables and the incidence of diarrhea is the dependent variable, namely the use of clean water has no significant correlation with very weak relationship strength (C = 0.049), CTPS behavior has a significant correlation with very moderate relationship strength (C = 0.424) and the use of healthy latrines did not have a significant correlation with very weak relationship strength (C = 0.014). The conclusion of this study is that the behavior of washing hands with soap and running water (CTPS) has a significant correlation with the incidence of diarrhea. While the use of clean water and the use of healthy latrines have no significant relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in RW 02 Blandongan Village, Pasuruan City

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem. In the future they will experience difficulties in achieving optimal physical and cognitive development. Stunting is influenced by food availability, parenting style, and environmental sanitation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parenting, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns on stunting in Rebalas Village, Grati Health Center Region, Pasuruan Regency. This research was case-control. Population was grouped between stunted and normal under-five children with a sample of 47 respondents and a ratio of 1:1, sample was taken by purposive sampling. The independent variables were parenting, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns, while the dependent variable was the incidence of stunting. The data that has been collected then processed through editing, coding, scoring, and data tabulation. Then analyzed using the Chi-Square test Based on the results of the study, it was found that respondents with parenting, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns in the unfavorable category for their children, almost half had stunted children. Chi-Square test obtained a probability value = 0.0000 <0.05 so that H1 was accepted, which mean that there was an influence of parenting patterns, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns. Under-five children with normal height (not stunted) have better parenting patterns, eating patterns, and sanitation patterns than stunted children with the same family economic background. Improving nutritional problems by empowering the community as preventive and promotive efforts to change family habits and recognizing the positive habits of under-five children mothers and being able to spread these positive habits to other mothers

Abstract

The immunization program is included in efforts to reduce morbidity, disability and mortality in infants and toddlers. The achievement of complete immunization still has not reached the target. A number of factors are known to influence the low coverage of complete basic immunization. This study aimed to determine the factors that influence the completeness of basic immunization in infants in the working area of the Mojokerto District Health Office. This study used a case control approach, with the population in this study were all mothers of infants in the Mojokerto District Health Office Work Area totaling 16,019 people. The sample in this study was 96 mothers of infants who had met the inclusion criteria. data were collected by questionnaire and then analyzed using logistic regression test. The results showed that there was an effect of mother's education level (p value = 0.000), mother's knowledge (p value = 0.000), and family support (p value = 0.000) on the completeness of basic immunization in infants in the working area of the Mojokerto District Health Office, and there was no effect of mother's employment status (p value = 0.285), number of children (p value = 0.885), and distance and affordability of immunization services (p value = 0.947) on the completeness of basic immunization in infants in the working area of the Mojokerto District Health Office. The positive effect of education level, knowledge and family support explains that the higher the education, the better the knowledge and family support, the higher the mother's motivation to immunize her child. Given the importance of the influence of family support on the completeness of immunization in infants, it is very important to involve the role of families in the toddler family development program so that families participate in supporting the implementation of immunization in infants.
