Abstract

Abstract: Deontological Aspects in The Implementation of P-Care at TheFirst Level of Health Facilities in Yogyakarta City. The 2015 SustainableDevelopment Goals (SDGs) opened a new focus on Universal Health Coverage (UHC).In Indonesia, the UHC concept has been proclaimed since 2000 which is thenorganized by Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) following the Law of theRepublic of Indonesia number 24 of 2011 Article 9 concerning the National SecurityAdministering Body. In implementing Indonesia’s national health insurance (JKN),BPJS kesehatan uses a cloud-based information system for Fasilitas KesehatanTingkat Pertama (FKTP) / The first level health facility, namely Primary Care (P-Care)which contains medical information for more than 222 million people. According tothe Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA), data in P-Care includesProtected Health Information (PHI) which can lead to potential ethical violations. Thisstudy aims to determine ethical issues from the Deontology aspect related to theapplication of P-Care in FKTPs in Yogyakarta City. The Method of research is thesequential exploratory mix method. The deontology point of view was chosen becausethe principle of Deontology, namely personal intrinsic value cannot be separated fromethical issues. The results showed that there are ethical issues in the application ofP-Care in FKTPs in Yogyakarta City, namely privacy and confidentiality, security, andinformed consent with the important issue being the involvement of third parties inP-Care data input, P-Care which can be accessed anywhere, lack of personalvalidation, as well as a printed diagnosis that anyone can read. The most powerfulinfluencing factor is the intrinsic value of each agent in understanding these ethicalissues.

Abstract

Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), used in forensic analysis, has many advantages: simple, cheap, and efficient. This study aimed to separate dihydroxybenzene isomers in whitening creams in the market and online shops using the BPOM label or not. Of the six eluent mixtures, this research used Toluene: Diethyl Ether: Acetic Acid with a ratio of 80:20:1 after optimization and validation test. In this case, the recovery percentages of resorcinol and hydroquinone were 51-66% and 80-87%. Of the 20 samples tested, 12 whitening creams were added with resorcinol, and 4 were added with hydroquinone. The addition of resorcinol and hydroquinone based on the regulation in Perka BPOM no 18 of 2015 was 5%. Furthermore, 2 out of 20 samples were added with hydroquinone within the regulated threshold, while the remaining 2% were accepted and the other six were undetected. In this case, adding hazardous substances has violated the rules of consumer protection laws and regulations.

Abstract

At Gadog Fresh, eco-enzymes and amino acids are the revolutionary combination of liquid organic fertilizers used to attain a zero-waste lifestyle. This research determined the effect of various liquid organic fertilizers on improving the metabolism of leek plants. This research was conducted at the Gadog Farm. The method applied liquid organic fertilizers from eco-enzymes and chicken eggs in the treatment labeled K, P1, P2, and P3 with various doses of 0.0; 2.5; 5.0; and 7.5 mL/L into spring onions. It was applied as much as 250 mL four times every seven days. The results obtained were plant height, namely 36.45; 47.63; 41.52; 42.62; stem diameter 7.30; 8.92; 10.42; 9.42; and dry weight percent 7.07; 7.38; 9.05; 7.09. The increase in height, diameter, and dry weight showed that liquid organic fertilizer applications improved the metabolism of leek plants. However, variations in the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer did not significantly affect all research points.

Abstract

In the post-pandemic era, many interactive activities have been flexibly generated through virtual conditions. Accordingly, some problems could appear in terms of leadership, such as difficulties in maintaining the audience’s attention during the event. Thus, the utilization of a command-based leadership style that could straightforwardly maintain audience focus ought to be considered to be adopted. However, both the command-based leadership style and its prospective aspects have not been widely understood by society. This community service aims to deliver a proper understanding of the command-based leadership style through interactive virtual discussion between experts in teaching activities of defense-based science and society consisting of Indonesian teachers, high school students as well as academics. Statistical results of pre-test and post-test scores showed enhancement of the participants’ understanding of command-based leadership. Hopefully, some relevant aspects of their new perspective of command-based leadership can be properly adopted and effectively implemented to answer current challenges, such as in terms of managing people in virtual conditions.

Abstract

Sexual violence includes various immoral behaviors such as sexual insults, touching unauthorized body parts, viewing and sending unwanted sexual and pornographic images, forced participation in sexual and pornographic activities, rape, sexual torture, female genital mutilation, sexual exploitation, sexual slavery, forced prostitution, forced pregnancy, forced sterilization, forced abortion, and intentional infection with sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS. Sexual crimes also occur in a state of war, mainly as a tool to oppress a country. In Indonesia, Law no. 17 of 2020 lists chemical castration as one of the solutions in preventing repeat sexual crimes for children. Chemical castration is one of the sanctions that is condemned by the world community but has a major impact in reducing the rate of sexual crime cases. This study aims to analyze the results of the response received by the community to the existence of chemical castration punishment in sexual offenders. The research method in this study uses the type of empirical research and the nature of qualitative research, with data collection methods in the form of questionnaires and secondary data from interviews from youtube and other written documents. The results of this study. Of the 100 respondents who agreed to the existence of chemical castration by answering yes and strongly agreeing, reaching 60%. Doubts about the success of the implementation of chemical castration can have a deterrent effect on sexual offenders. However, most people agree that the existence of chemical castration needs to be carried out not only pedophilia but also perpetrators of sexual crimes against women).

Abstract

Radar is a detection and tracking technology commonly applied to monitor environmental conditions. Its ever-growing capabilities pose a serious challenge to military operations because they increase the risk of being detected by the enemy. On the other hand, unmanned aircraft (drones) are increasingly widespread in gathering information. However, the effectiveness of this technology can be reduced due to exposure to radar waves that allow detection. Therefore, developing coating materials that can absorb radar waves is an urgent need to increase the effectiveness of military equipment. The composites developed were derived from chitosan obtained from crustacean waste, hydroxyapatite from eggshell waste, and the rare earth metal cerium obtained from Lapindo Mud. Composites containing cerium metal (Ce) have higher radar signal absorption capabilities than samples without Ce, as evidenced by VNA measurements showing increased absorbance in the 100 MHz - 8.5 GHz frequency range. SEM tests indicate that cerium particles increase the density and homogeneity of the pore structure, with a size range of 17–24 µm. FTIR characterization revealed that Ce was physically bound to the chitosan-HAp composite. Mechanically, the composite with Ce had a maximum tensile stress of 9.512 MPa and a strain of 9.512%, while without the addition of Ce, a stress of 9.529 MPa and a strain of 25.512% was obtained. These findings indicate that integrating rare earth metals in chitosan-HAp composites can improve the material's capability to absorb radar waves, thus having broad prospects for applications in defence technology.

Abstract

The development of plant-based yogurt is necessary as an alternative for individuals with lactose intolerance and cow’s milk allergies. Cereals, legumes, and nuts can serve as raw materials for producing plant-based yogurt. This study aims to evaluate the nutritional content and sensory characteristics of yogurt made from Coix lacryma-jobi (hanjeli) milk as a locally sourced fermented product alternative. The research employed an experimental method using a completely randomized design with a single factor: the ratio of hanjeli milk added at levels of 50%, 60%, and 70%. Proximate analyses were conducted, including moisture, ash, protein, fat, and carbohydrate content, alongside sensory evaluations (taste, aroma, texture, color, appearance, and overall acceptance). The optimal formula was determined using the Exponential Comparison Method. The selected yogurt formula (F1), with a 50% hanjeli milk ratio, had the following characteristics: moisture (83.36%), ash (0.69%), protein (3.09%), fat (2.21%), carbohydrate (10.65%), taste score (4.30), aroma (4.97), texture (5.00), color (5.67), appearance (5.63), and overall acceptance (4.50).
