Abstract

The importance of mathematical problem-solving skills is so that students can understand mathematical concepts deeply and flexibly, allowing them to apply their knowledge in various problem-solving situations. One of the learning media that can be applied to train students in solving mathematical problems is animation media, which is closely related to engaging visual and auditory elements, thereby motivating students in the learning process. The aim of this research is to describe problem-solving skills in the topic of sets using animation media. This research is a type of descriptive study focusing on mathematical problem-solving skills, which is the variable of this research. The subject of this research is seventh-grade students at Muhammadiyah 4 Middle School in Palembang. Data was collected through two methods: written methods and interview methods. The research results indicate that the mathematical problem-solving ability of seventh-grade students at Muhammadiyah 4 Middle School in Palembang falls into the moderate category. By utilizing animated videos in mathematics learning on the topic of sets, it can assist students in solving or finding solutions to mathematical problems.

Abstract

The quality of teaching in elementary schools is a crucial factor that influences the early development of students. Training and mentoring for elementary school teachers are expected to strengthen teacher capacity in terms of mapping learning outcomes, learning objectives, and learning objective flows. Community service activities are carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The stages of activities that will be carried out by the community service program team are as follows: (1) giving an initial test (pre-test); (2) implementing offline community service; (3) online mentoring; (4) evaluation and reflection; and (5) giving a final test (post-test). The pre-test score with 20 participants obtained an average of 51.75, while the post-test score obtained an average of 90, so that the N-Gain score was 0.79. This value represents an interpretation of a high improvement category. Overall, this community service activity was able to improve the knowledge and understanding of elementary school teachers in Prabumulih City in mapping CP, TP, and ATP in accordance with the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan  penyusunan dan penerapan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila bagi guru-guru SD di Kota Prabumulih ini ber­tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang penyusunan dan penerapan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Selain itu juga dilakukan untuk memotivasi guru-guru SD agar dapat menyusun projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila untuk menguatkan dan mengembangkan nilai karakter siswa. Metode dan bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pembinaan dan pelatihan, dengan Teknik ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, dan penugasan. Khalayak sasaran dalam kegiatan ini berjumlah 23 guru SD yang berasal dari Kota Prabumulih. Guru-guru tersebut diberikan pretes dan postes serta penugasan modul projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Berdasarkan hasil pretes dan postes, dapat dinyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil dilaksanakan dengan memperhatikan nilai rata-rata postes yang lebih besar dari pada pretes. Nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 68,43 dan nilai rata-rata postes sebesar 78,48 nilai-nilai tersebut menunjukan peningkatan.
