Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the effect of giving incentives on employee performance at PT. Deli Kencana Palace Medan, for the development of science, especially in the field of human resource management, as a reference in conducting further research for the development of science, especially in the field of human resource management, as a reference in conducting further research. The research population is incentives and the number of vehicles serviced by employees of PT. Deli Kencana Palace Medan from 1983-2016. The research sample was taken in 2016. The data collection techniques used were documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. From the results of the research and discussion obtained a simple linear regression equation is Y = 515,462 + 0,033X. That is, giving incentives has a positive effect on employee performance at PT. Medan Deli Kencana Palace. This can be seen from the regression coefficient which is positive. The value of the correlation coefficient (R) is 0.693, meaning that giving incentives has a fairly strong and positive relationship to the performance of employees at PT. Medan Deli Kencana Palace. The determinant coefficient (R2) is 0.481. That is, employee performance can be explained by giving incentives of 48.1% while 51.9% is explained by other factors. Judging from the z test, the z calculated value is 7.574 with a significance level of 0.000

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence employee job satisfaction at PT Astra Medan Branch. The benefits of research help provide input to the leadership of the company in determining policies for the progress of PT Astra Medan Branch and can be used as reference material in enriching and deepening science. The number of samples was 105 respondents, the types of data used were primary and secondary data, and the method of data collection through questionnaires and documentation, the method of data analysis used factor analysis. The results showed that the KMO Measure of Sampling Adequacy (MSA) figure of 0.825 was above 0.50, with a significance of 0,000, so the variables were worthy of further analysis. Scree plot shows the graph, where from factor 1 to factor 2 (source line component number = 1 to 2), the direction of the line decreases sharply. Then from number 2 to number 6, the direction of the line is still decreasing with slope getting smaller. The seventh to twenty-first factors are below the number of the Y axis (eigenvalues). This shows that the six factors are best for summarizing the twenty-one factors that influence employee job satisfaction at PT Astra Medan Branch. The dominant factors affecting job satisfaction of employees of PT Astra Medan Branch are incentives or bonuses, work policies and procedures, promotion of positions, intrinsic of work, social security and official vehicles. The most dominant factor influencing employee job satisfaction is incentives or bonuses. Suggestions that are recommended to company leaders should the company increase the amount of incentives or bonuses, pay attention to the establishment of work policies and procedures, maintain the provision of social security and official vehicles. The company should provide the greatest opportunities for employees with the best performance to be promoted to higher positions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the most dominant factors influencing consumer behavior to buy Toyota Avanza cars (case study at PT Astra International Tbk Auto 2000 Medan). The benefits of research for the development of science, especially in the field of consumer behavior, as a reference in conducting further research. The number of samples is 100 respondents, the types of data used are primary and secondary data, and the method of collecting data through questionnaires and documentation, the method of data analysis is used factor analysis. From the results of research and discussion obtained the KMO Measure of Sampling Adeguacy (MSA) Figures of 0797 with a significance level of 0,000. Because the KMO value is above 0.50 and is significant at 1 percent, the data are quite feasible for further analysis using factor analysis. Component Matrix shows that the variables analyzed are not clearly included in which factors. After the rotated component matrix is performed, the twenty variables studied are clearly included in factor 1, factor 2, factor 3, factor 4 and factor 5. The dominant factors affecting consumer behavior to buy Toyota avanza in PT Astra International Auto 2000 Medan are car prices, car brands, lifestyle, income levels and experience. The most dominant factor influencing consumer behavior is the price of a car. Suggestions that are recommended should the company target and intensify marketing in the community who work as entrepreneurs. This is based on the work of entrepreneurs who demand high mobility and have strong capital in conducting transactions, especially car purchases. Affordable and rational prices need to be considered by the company. Companies can also make the payment system look lighter by collaborating with finance companies that have a good track record.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of the hotel services company in the Indonesia Stock Exchange to generate profits with the total assets available. This ability is seen from the value of ROA and the value of ROE (return on investment of shareholders). The benefit of this research is to provide information material to investors in making investment decisions. This study uses secondary data, namely the Financial Statements of Hospitality Service Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018 which can be accessed via the internet. The data analysis technique used in this research is ratio analysis. The ratio analysis used is the profitability ratio, which is represented by Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROI). The results showed that in these company profitability ratios from 2014 to 2018, in general, several companies experienced a decline, which indicates that the company's profitability ratio is getting less good. Of the 5 hotel services companies studied, the authors also concluded that the Destination Company Tirta Nusantara Tbk. (PDES) is a hotel service company that has the best profitability ratio. This means that this company is a hotel service company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that has the best financial performance. Meanwhile, Golden Eagle Energy Tbk. (SMMT) is a hotel service company that has the worst profitability ratio. Based on the research results, it is recommended that the management of the hotel services listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange be able to maintain and even improve their performance from year to year. The company is also expected to be able to manage its assets properly so that the company's performance will increase and further research uses all the ratios in operational variables to assess the company's financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent of influence, profitability, liquidity, company size and leverage on dividend policy on industrial goods and consumption companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study was 59 industrial companies of goods and consumption. Sampling techniques used is purposive sampling in accordance with the criteria that have been determined, so obtained samples 45 companies, with a research period of 3 years so that the total number of 45. The data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using t test and F test with a significance rate of 5%. Partial test results (t test) show profitability has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, liquidity has an insignificant positive effect on dividend policy, company size has insignificant positive effect and leverage negatively and significantly affects dividend policy. Simultaneous test results (test F) show that variable profitability, liquidity, company size and leverage together have a positive and significant effect on dividend policy in Goods and Consumption Industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of compensation and work environment on employee morale at the CU Mandiri Tebing Tinggi Kopdit. Benefits of Research: Provide information material to the management of CU Mandiri Tebing Tinggi Kopdit about the effect of compensation and work environment on employee morale and For other researchers it can be used as a reference in conducting studies or research with the same subject matter as well as input for interested parties directly with this research. The number of samples was 96 respondents, the method of collecting data was through questionnaires and documentation, the variables studied were about the effect of compensation and work environment on employee morale at the Cooperative Unit of CU Mandiri Tebing Tinggi partially and simultaneously on work morale and data analysis methods with multiple regression. The results showed the linear regression equation: Linear regression equation: SK = 0.558 + 0.797Kom + 0.448LK., indicating the regression coefficient of the compensation variable (Kom) and work environment (LK), which was positive, meaning that all variables had a positive influence on work morale. The correlation coefficient (R) = 0.886, which means that the relationship between the compensation variable (Kom) and the work environment (LK) on work morale is very strong. The coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.785 means that the variable compensation (Kom) and work environment (LK) is able to explain 78.5% of work morale, while 21.5% is influenced by other factors. The calculated t value of the compensation variable = 6.871 and the work environment = 3.273 > t table which shows a significance number of 0.000 < 0.05, then the two variables have a partially significant effect on work morale. The calculated F value = 83.058 > F table with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that the compensation variable (Kom) and work environment (LK) have a significant effect simultaneously on work morale. Based on the conclusion above, it is better if the Cooperative of CU Mandiri Tebing Tinggi needs to increase the compensation provided and the work environment to encourage employee morale so as to create job satisfaction. , Judging from the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.785, it means that compensation and work environment variables are able to explain 78.5% of work spirit while 21.5% is influenced by other factors. Other factors that affect morale should be investigated from the internal and external environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the service marketing mix which includes product, price, place and promotion, process, people, and physical evidence on customer satisfaction. . The purpose of this study is expected to be able to overcome problems regarding the marketing mix of services which include product (product), price (price), place (place) and promotion (promotion), process (process), people (people), and physical evidence (physical evidence). its effect on customer satisfaction. The research method with a sample of 96 customers, questionnaire data collection techniques and documentation and analysis techniques with multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, the multiple linear regression equations are: Y = 4.200 + 0.359X1 + 0.433X2 + 0.261 X3 + 0.321X4 + 0.274X5 + 0.353X6 + 0.345X7. This means that product, price, place, promotion, process, people and physical evidence variables have a positive effect on customer satisfaction and the price dimension has a greater influence on customer satisfaction compared to product, people, physical evidence, process, promotion and place dimensions. The results of the F test show that the variables of product, price, place, promotion, process, people and physical evidence have a simultaneous and significant effect on customer satisfaction, this can be seen from the Fcount which is 25,047 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the t-test, show that the variables of product, price, place, promotion, process, people and physical evidence have a partial and significant effect on customer satisfaction, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The value of the determinant coefficient (R Square) = 0.669 means that customer satisfaction can be explained by the service marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, process, people and physical evidence) of 66.9% while 33.1% is explained by other factors that not described in this study such as safety and convenience. o increase customer satisfaction at BPR Pijer Podi Kekelengen Medan, it is better to make adjustments to those offered by competitors so that they continue to exist in the future

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how big the influence of Entrepreneurship Knowledge, Personality and Family Environment on Entrepreneurial Interest of Students of the Faculty of Economics, Santo Thomas Catholic University, Medan. The type of research used is descriptive and quantitative. The research sample was 40 respondents using a census sampling method from the population based on respondents who answered the questionnaire as training participants on research data processing with Microsoft SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science). The required data was collected through answers from online questionnaires. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study of the Entrepreneurial Knowledge variable partially positive and significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest, the Personality variable partially has a negative effect, but is significant on Entrepreneurial Interest, the Family Environment variable partially has a positive and significant effect on Student Entrepreneurial Interest. Entrepreneurial knowledge, personality and family environment have a significant effect on Student Entrepreneurial Interest. Variations in entrepreneurial knowledge, personality and family environment are able to explain variations in Student Entrepreneurial Interests by 95.1%. Recommended; because the Personality variable partially has a negative but significant effect on Student Entrepreneurial Interest, then to support this personality variable for students there must be support from the family and an increase in curriculum competence from Entrepreneurship Courses. There are still many reasons that students are not interested in entrepreneurship, so to overcome them, it is appropriate for the institution to review the availability of teaching and learning facilities that really help students to master entrepreneurship material and assist lecturers in conveying knowledge that can support the growth of their intention to become entrepreneurs now and in the future they are free from unemployment. For further research, it is better to add specific or distinctive indicators from this study that can support personality variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, training and work discipline on employee performance at PT BPR NBP 20 Delitua. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 36 respondens. From the results of the study obtained multiple regression equations as follows: Y = 1,484 + 0.262X1 + 0.174 X2+ 0,480 X3 . All regression coefficient is are positive, meaning that all independent variables, namely compensation, training and work discipline, have a positive effect on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. Of the three independent variables, work discipline has a greater influence on employee performance because it has largest regression coefficient 0,480. Based on partial hypothesis testing, compensation, training and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance where the significance value of each variables is smaller than alpha (0,05). Based on simultaneous hypothesis testing, the three independent variables, namely compensation, training and work disciplinehave a significanteffect on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. This can be seen from the significance value of 0,000< alpha (0,05). The coefficient of determination ( R Square of 0,850 means that employee performance can be explained by compensation, training and work discipline of 0,85 % while the remaining 15,00 % is explained by other variables not explained in this study such as motivation, work conditions and competence. From the result of research and discussion, PT BPR NBP 20 Delitua should develop and maintain indicators of compensation, training and work discipline on employee performance at PT BPR NBP 20 Delitua.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation, teamwork and work environment on employee performance at KOPDIT CU Pardomuan Dolok Sanggul. The total population is 57 employees and all members of the population are sampled, namely 57 employees. The sampling technique is a census. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. From the results of the t test indicate that work motivation, teamwork, and work environment have a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance. The results of the F test show that simultaneously work motivation, teamwork, and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance. From the results of this study obtained multiple linear regression equations; KK= 4.829+ 0.774(X1) + 0.680(X2) + 0.471(X3) + ei. The coefficient of determination is 0.700, meaning that employee performance can be explained by work motivation, teamwork and work environment by 70%, while the other 30% is explained by other variables not included in this study.
