Abstract

This research aims to determine species diversity of dragonflies at the Rawa Danau Nature Reserve. The methodology of this research is an exploration of collecting data techniques using the sweeping net. This research was held in January to December. Sampling was done with 2 sessions are 09.00-11.00 WIB and 15.00-17.00 WIB with three times repetition each session. Sampling was done at two places especially in Sukatani and Cikedung. The procedures of this research are samples were taken by insect net and the abiotic components were calculated such climatic (humidity, air temperature, light intensity, wind velocity) edaphic (soil moisture, soil Ph). Based on the results, Sukatani obtained a diversity index was 1.98 and Cikedung was 2.46 with both categories are medium. Then, Sukatani obtained an evenness index was 0.67 and Cikedung was 0.87 with both categories are high. Environmental conditions are in the optimal range for the life of dragonflies. The final results of this research were made as a field guide book based on conservation education species diversity of dragonfly at Rawa Danau Nature Reserve with a score of expert test assessment obtained 80,39% with the category is good as an educative reading source.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the transition of the learning system, namely from learning in the class to virtuallearning or commonly known online learning. During the process, online learning uses technology more than using paper. The use of technology has a positive impact on the environment in the form of a decrease in the amount of paper waste produced in the surrounding environment. From the reduced amount of waste, a policy called the paperless policy. Therefore, an analysis related to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out as an effort towards a paperless policy.The purpose of this study was to determine the level of use of technology and use of paper among students during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Qualitative descriptive research method by distributing questionnaires to students at the FKIP campus, Sultan AgengTirtayasa University. Sampling was done by purposive sampling.The results obtained from this study are 99% of respondents admitted that they use paper less when carrying out learning and use technology more. Thus, the FKIP campus of Sultan AgengTirtayasa University is declared ready to move towards a paperless policy. Keyword:Paperless Policy, Online Learning, Paper Usage, Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kecerdasan naturalis dengan perspektif taksonomi Bloom revisi pada pelajaran biologi di MAN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode, sedangkan untuk analisis data dengan teknik Miles, Huberman, & Saldana (2014) yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X dan XI MIA di MAN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang. Teknik pengumpulan data memakai angket, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kecerdasan naturalis siswa kelas X MIA pada kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 80 siswa, kategori tinggi 32 siswa. Sedangkan kecerdasan naturalis siswa kelas XI MIA pada kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 70 siswa, kategori tinggi 40 siswa, dan kategori cukup 1 siswa. Hasil dari kecerdasan naturalis dan kemampuan kognitif yang didapat menunjukkan perbedaan antara siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan naturalis dengan kemampuan kognitif C1, C2, C3, dan C4. Perbedaan tersebut dapat  dilihat dari setiap komponen kecerdasan naturalis siswa dengan kemampuan kognitif C1, C2, C3, dan C4 yang memiliki nilai berbeda-beda di setiap komponennya. This study aimed to determine the profile of naturalist intelligence with a revised Bloom's taxonomy perspective in biology lessons at MAN 2 Tangerang Regency. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study research design, with data validity techniques using the triangulation method, while for data analysis using the Miles, Huberman, & Saldana (2014) technique, which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The sample in this study were all class X and XI MIA at MAN 2 Tangerang Regency. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, documentation studies, and interviews. The results of the study can be seen that the naturalist intelligence of class X MIA students in the very high category is 80 students, the high category is 32 students. Meanwhile, the naturalist intelligence of class XI MIA students in the very high category is 70 students, the high category is 40 students, and the category is quite 1 student. The results of naturalist intelligence and cognitive abilities obtained show differences between students who have naturalist intelligence with cognitive abilities of C1, C2, C3, and C4. These differences can be seen from each component of the naturalist intelligence of students with cognitive abilities C1, C2, C3, and C4 which have different values in each component.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to develop e-book learning media using the professional Flip pdf application based on problem solving in human digestive system materials and to test the feasibility of e-book media developed through validation of Experts and to find out the effectiveness of teacher and student responses. Is a type of research development / Research and development that uses 4D models with stages (define, design, develop and desiminate) in this study only up to the stage of develope.descriptive qualitative research design. E-book as a free variable and human digestive system as a bound variable. The population in the study was 18 students of class XI AL-khairiyah High School 4 Cilegon, school year 2021/2022. Data retrieval and collection techniques are carried out by spreading questionnaires and interviews, data analysis techniques using interpretase scales and likert scales to test the feasibility of e-books that have been created. The results of the assessment of media experts, obtained a score of 82% and and expert test material obtained a value of 79% which falls into the category of feasible while the response test of the student response test obtained a score of 88% and the teacher board 81% with a very interesting category, based on the results of the study can be concluded that: e-book human suppression system based on problem solving is suitable for student use in biological learning system materials. Abstract

The aim of the study is to develop a biology practicum guide on the concept of the digestive system to develop students' critical thinking skills, to determine eligibility, and to determine student responses to the biology practicum guide. The research method is the research and development (R&D) method by using the Sugiyono model. The research was conducted in October 2021 at SMAN 2 Serang City. The population in the study was 10 students from class XI SMAN 2 at Serang City High School, school year 2021/2022. Data retrieval and collection techniques are carried out by spreading questionnaires and interviews, while data analysis techniques using guttman scales and likert scales are used to test the feasibility of the biology practical guides that have been created. The validity assessment from the material expert for the Biology Practicum Guide received a score of 85% and the score from the media expert got a score of 86%. Both values are very feasible in the category. The result of the students' response test was a 98.6% score, which was very feasible in the category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Biology Practicum Guide on the concept of the digestive system was very feasible to use to develop critical thinking skills in students.

Abstract

CO2 emissions continue to increase every year. The increase in CO2 emissions in Indonesia is caused by an increase in greenhouse gases and the production of CO2 emissions is inseparable from human activities. One of the efforts to reduce CO2 emissions can be done through the Biodiversity Park (Kehati) development program. This study aims to determine the estimation of biomass, carbon stocks and carbon dioxide absorption in PT Chandra Asri's biodiversity park as one of the efforts to reduce carbon emissions. The method used in collecting data on biomass is a non-destructive sampling method using allometric equation analysis to extrapolate biomass. The results showed that the total estimated biomass of all standing categories was 2745 tons/ha, the total carbon stock was 1290.15 tons/ha and the total CO2 absorption was 4734.85 tons/ha. This shows that the carbon stock in Taman Kehati PT. Chandra Asri Cilegon is in the high category because it spans more than 100 tonnes/ha so that PT. Chandra Asri Cilegon can maximize its function as a carbon absorption and storage area to reduce CO2 emissions. Meningkatnya emisi CO2 di Indonesia diakibatkan oleh meningkatnya gas rumah kaca (GRK) dan produksi emisi CO2 ini tidak terlepas dari aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh manusia. Salah satu upaya penurunan emisi CO2 dapat dilakukan melalui program pembangunan Taman Keanekaragaman Hayati (Kehati). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkiraan estimasi biomassa, cadangan karbon dan serapan karbon dioksida di taman kehati PT Chandra Asri sebagai salah satu upaya dalam penanganan untuk mengurangi emisi karbon. Metode yang dipakai dalam pengambilan data biomassa yaitu metode nondestructive sampling menggunakan analisis persamaan allometrik untuk mengekstrapolasi biomassa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jumlah estimasi biomassa semua kategori tegakan sebesar 2745 ton/ha, jumlah cadangan karbon sebesar 1290,15 ton/ha dan jumlah serapan CO2 sebesar 4734,85 ton/ha. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa cadangan karbon pada Taman Kehati PT. Chandra Asri Cilegon berada dalam kategori tinggi karena berada direntang lebih dari 100 ton/ha sehingga Taman Kehati PT. Chandra Asri Cilegon dapat memaksimalkan fungsinya sebagai salah satu kawasan penyerapan dan penyimpanan karbon untuk untuk mengurangi emisi CO2. Abstract

One of the human needs is communication; communication is an activity of exchanging information verbally and non-verbally with one another to change behavior (Yanti, 2019). Learning media needed that can be used as a communication tool or intermediary that the sender will convey with the aim that the recipient can more easily receive the information conveyed (Megawati, 2017). One of the learning media used in the learning process is a poster. Poster learning media is said to be good if it includes legibility, visibility, readability, and composition (Pauwels, 2015). In biology learning, poster media is often used. One of the biological materials that use poster media is plant tissue material. Plant tissue materials study plant tissue facts from various cutting techniques and are poured into images so that studying these materials relies on pictures of plant tissue incisions (Pratama et al., 2022). The results of this study have better changes and have a role in changing the verbal and non-verbal communication of students. This poster model is effective for use on plant tissue materials, where the pictures on the poster can make it easier to understand the material. At least it consists of research objectives, methods, results and interpretations, conclusions.

Abstract

The establishment of Taman Kehati Asri by PT Chandra Asri is a form of protection of biodiversity to improve the quality of biodiversity, including fauna. The existence of fauna is very important in ecosystem activities because fauna is a consumer in the food pyramid. If a population decreases, it will have a negative impact on the continuity of food webs and hinder the flow of energy cycle. This study aimed to identify the diversity of fauna in the Taman Kehati Asri area of PT. Chandra Asri Petrochemical, in Gunung Sugih Village, Ciwandan District, Cilegon City, Banten. The research was conducted in October 2022. The methods used were point count and cruise method. Based on the research results, it was found that there were 37 species of fauna belonging to 4 classes, namely birds, mammals, herpetofauna and insects. The result of total species diversity index was 2.98 which was categorized as in the medium category. Furthermore, the fauna dominance index was 0.075 which indicated that one or several species of fauna were not dominated in that area.

Abstract

The limitations of learning resources can be felt in several aspects of the quality and quantity, form and types of learning resources available. Meanwhile, learning resources must be available quickly to realize effective learning, allowing students to push themselves to meet independent learning needs. Digital modules continue to be developed by researchers to support the independent learning process. This study aimed to establish teaching products in ICARE-based digital modules integrated with the SETS approach to the digestive system concept in senior high schools. The type of research used is research and development with the 4D model design by Thiagarajan, which consists of 4 stages: define, design, development, and disseminate. The result of the expert assessment ICARE-based digital module received the very feasible category, as the user responses test, the module got a very conceivable category. The Teacher response test got the highest score, with the grammar aspect getting the highest among other elements. This is because the language used in the module is an interactive language. Based on the result, ICARE-based digital modules can be used in the biology learning process, especially in the digestive system.

Abstract

Bivalvia is an invertebrate animal that has a high level of diversity and a marine biological resource that has significant economic value. This research was conducted in November 2021, aiming to determine bivalve diversity, mapping of manrove land and the potential for bivalve diversity, the relationship between the results of analysis of the presence of water on bivalves diversity in the Pulau Dua Nature Reserve and the implications of research results in the field of education. The method used is the roaming method to determine bivalves diversity and remote sensing methods to map areas of potential bivalve diversity in Pulau Dua Nature Reserve. The results of observations found that the diversity of bivalves in Pulau Dua Nature Reserve was included in the medium diversity category with a value of 1.085. The results of the relationship between bivalve diversity and MNDWI are classified as having a strong relationship, namely the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.668. In the Pulau Dua Nature Reserve, it was found that areas with a high potential for bivalve diversity were found at coordinates 106.198956 6.018374. The results of this research were then carried out to analyze the material at KD 3.10 and KD 4.10 for class X SMA at school.
