Abstract

Nutritional problems in pregnant women can affect the mother's health, also influence fetus’s growth and development while in the womb. The role of cadres in supporting pregnant women has a big influence so it is necessary to empower cadres through education to reduce nutritional problems in pregnant women. Community service activities aim to enhance the understanding of cadres' concerning proper nutrition for pregnant women. The initial activity was carried out by assessing cadres' knowledge about balanced nutrition through pre-test before education, then providing material and after education with a post-test.  The results conducted with 32 cadres showed that the cadres' knowledge of balanced nutrition had significantly increased in the average knowledge score by 20 point  after balanced nutrition education (p<0.001). The results of  activities related to balanced nutrition for pregnant women showed a positive response from cadres and good communication was established between presenters and cadres.  The conclusion was an increase in cadres' knowledge after providing nutritional education about balanced nutrition for pregnant women. Continuous provision of balanced nutrition education by cadres can increase knowledge about nutrition among cadres and overcome nutritional problems in pregnant women.Keywords: balanced nutrition; nutrition education; pregnant women Abstrak: Masalah gizi yang dialami oleh ibu hamil dapat memengaruhi kesehatan sang ibu serta memengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan janin selama masa kehamilan. Peran kader dalam mendampingi ibu hamil memiliki pengaruh besar sehingga diperlukan pemberdayaan kader melalui penyuluhan  untuk menurunkan masalah gizi pada ibu hamil. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan kader terkait gizi seimbang pada ibu hamil. Kegiatan penyuluhan melalui media ZOOM Meeting dengan metode ceramah menggunakan powerpoint dilakukan untuk menilai pengetahuan kader tentang gizi  seimbang. Soal   pre-test   diberikan sebelum   penyuluhan dan  diakhiri  dengan  post-test. Sejumlah 32 kader mengikuti pre-post test yang diberikan, dan didapatkan hasil pengetahuan mereka mengenai gizi seimbang meningkat secara signifikan, dengan rata-rata skor pengetahuan naik sebesar 20 poin sebelum dan setelah edukasi tentang gizi seimbang dilakukan (p<0,001). Kader memberikan respon yang positif pada kegiatan penyuluhan terkait gizi seimbang ibu hamil dan terjalin komunikasi yang baik antara pemateri dan kader. Kesimpulan yang dihasilkan setelah kegiatan penyuluhan tentang gizi seimbang ibu hamil dilakukan, pengetahuan kader meningkat dibandingkan sebelum penyuluhan. Pemberian  penyuluhan  gizi  seimbang  oleh  kader yang berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang gizi pada kader dan mengatasi permasalahan gizi ibu selama masa kehamilan.Kata kunci: gizi seimbang; penyuluhan gizi; ibu hamil

Abstract

Satisfaction is a person's feeling of pleasure or disappointment after comparing the perceived performance results with their expectations. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between sanitation hygiene and inpatient satisfaction with food services at NU Tuban Hospital. The research design us ed was correlational analytic with a cross-sectional approac h. The type of research was quantitative and the instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank Correlation test. The results showed that there was a relationship between sanitation hygiene and inpatient satisfaction with food services with a p value = 0.000. The conclusion of this study is that the better the sanitation hygiene, the better the food service at NU Tuban Hospital. Patient satisfaction with food services at NU Tuban Hospital has met the standards.
