Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Principal's Leadership in growing the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at the level of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Falahussyabab Yogyakarta. . This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were the principal and class teacher. This research was conducted at MI Falahussyabab. The results of this study indicate that the Principal's Leadership Role at MI Falahussyabab in carrying out literacy programs are: (1) socializing literacy policy issues through open meetings by all classroom teachers and subject teachers; (2) create an organizational structure for the Literacy Team; (3) provide a reading corner in each class respectively. (4) school principals always remind teachers of school literacy programs; (5) providing library facilities for students to read; (6) familiarize students to read every day for 15 minutes before the learning process begins.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kedekatan orang tua terhadap anaknya yang mempengaruhi perkembangan kecerdasan sosial pada anak-anak pondok pesantren Falahussyabab. Kecerdasan sosial menjadi hal yang sangat penting dikarenakan pada dasarnya manusia harus saling bergantung satu sama lain dan tidak bisa hidup sendiri. Banyak aktivitas manusia yang dilakukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Banyaknya aktifitas sosial yang terjadi dimasyarakat dan semakin sedikitnya kecerdasan sosial yang terjadi. Lemahnya perkembangan kecerdasan sosial pada diri anak pondok pesantren Falahussyabab disebabkan anak memiliki latar belakang dari keluarga broken home. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu santri pondok pesantren Falahussyabab dengan kriteria usia 6-13 tahun yang berjumlah 75 santri. Kemudian teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara. Selanjutnya hasil temuan dari penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa perkembangan kecerdasan sosial anak-anak santri Falahussyabab secara umum disebabkan dari latar belakang keluarga broken home dan kurang kasih sayang dari kedua orang tua.AbstractThis study aims to determine the relationship between the closeness of parents to their children that affect the development of social intelligence in the children of the Falahussyabab Islamic boarding school. Social intelligence is very important because basically humans have to depend on each other and cannot live alone. Many human activities are carried out in daily life. The number of social activities that occur in the community and the less social intelligence that occurs. The weak development of social intelligence in the children of the Falahussyabab Islamic boarding school is due to the child having a background from a broken home family. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were the students of the Falahussyabab Islamic boarding school with the age criteria of 6-13 years, totaling 75 students. Then the data collection technique is using observation techniques, interviews. Furthermore, the findings from this study concluded that the development of social intelligence of Falahussyabab students was generally caused by a broken home family background and lack of affection from both parents.

Abstract

This research aims to see the relationship between the role of teachers as mentors in cultivating the character of Generation Alpha children at Gedung Rejo State Elementary School, with the class teacher as the sample in this study. The alpha generation, which grew up in the digital era, faces various challenges in character formation, such as discipline, responsibility and empathy. This research uses a quantitative approach with interview and questionnaire methods to collect data from class V homeroom teachers at Gedung Rejo Elementary School. The data that has been collected is then tested by the researcher using the Correlation Test, in which case the researcher wants to see the relationship between the teacher's role as a student guide and the child's disciplinary character. In this research, the researcher obtained data from the homeroom teacher, the data was then processed and the researcher found a relationship between the role of the teacher and the child's disciplinary character, where the researcher found that the role of the teacher in guiding children to develop the disciplinary character of alpha generation children is very important for children growing up in this very sophisticated technological era. The results of this research show that the teacher's role as a character guide has a very significant influence on the development of children's character, especially on the discipline of alpha generation children.

Abstract

Penelitian mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi manajemen kelas yang efektif digunakan oleh guru pemula di sekolah dasar. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana guru pemula mengatasi tantangan dalam menegakkan disiplin dan mengakomodasi kebutuhan siswa yang beragam. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Gedung Rejopada bulan Agustus 2024. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh dari wawancara bersama beberapa guru pemula yang hasilnya merupakan data utama selain observasi mengenai strategi dalam pengelolaan kelas. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yakni kualitatif Fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tentang beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi guru pemula dalam mengelola kelas seperti manajemen kelas yang kurang dan perilaku siswa yang sulit untuk diatur seperti berbicara sendiri dan kurang fokus ini masih menjadi tantangan atau masalah yang serius dihadapi bagi seorang guru pemula. Beberapa strategi yang diterapkan dalam menanggulangi hal tersebut yakni dengan sistem penataan tempat duduk yang bervariatif, adanya sebuah kesepakatan kelas dan dekorasi ruang kelas yang rapi dengan dipenuhi karya-karya setiap siswa. Kemudian dalam hal dukungan oleh seluruh aspek pendidikan maupun orang tua dan pelatihan-pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi dan penerapan metode kreatif dan inovatif sangat mempengaruhi guru pemula dalam mengelola kelas.

Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in improving the quality of human resources. In this context, teachers serve as central figures who determine the success of the learning process. Teacher professionalism is one of the key indicators in establishing a high-quality education system. This article aims to analyze the role of educational policy in supporting the development of teacher professional quality in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach, utilizing secondary data sources from scientific articles and journals published between 2020 and 2025, accessed through Google Scholar. The results indicate that educational policies in Indonesia have provided a strong legal and regulatory foundation for the development of teacher professionalism, such as Law Number 14 of 2005 and its derivative regulations. These policies regulate qualifications, competencies, certification, and budget support for teachers. In conclusion, educational policy plays a vital role in improving teacher quality through a structured and sustainable system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tentang persiapan guru dalam mengadapi era society 5.0, dimana guru di haruskan untuk menjadi pengajar yang cukup bagus untuk mewujudkan harapan Indonesia emas 2045 dan harus memiliki strategi yang cukup baik dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran kepada siswa di SDN Sanca 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara kepada kepala sekolah serta beberapa guru yang ada, dan pengambilan dokumentasi berupa foto untuk pengumpulan datanya, dalam menentukan subjek penelitian ini penulis menggunakan purposive sampling. Sementara Teknik analisis data yang penulis gunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan lesimpulan. Adapun hasil dari temuan penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi dalam mendidik anak menuju Indonesia emas di SDN Sanca 3 itu dengan cara memperbaiki dulu keprofesionalan guru tersebut, agar anak bisa melihat contoh yang baik. Adapun untuk pembelajaran akademik dan karakter, guru memberikan pengajaran yang cukup menarik dan menikuti zaman agar sesuai dengan kurikulum merdeka belajar, dan pihak sekolah bekerja sama dengan salah satu pondok pesantren. Selain itu di SDN Sanca 3 menanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan sejak dini agar bisa menjadi lulusan yang berpengetahuan luas, berkarakter, terampil, dan berdaya saing global.

Abstract

This article discusses the problems faced by educators in Indonesia, with a special emphasis on the situation at SDN Wonorejo. Although the ideal of the teaching profession is expected to create an ideal learning environment, various problems such as high workload, low welfare levels, and lack of supporting facilities often hinder this achievement. In this study, a qualitative approach was used to study the experiences and perspectives of teachers at SDN Wonorejo through interviews and observations. The results showed that there was a difference between what educators expected and what actually happened. They also showed how important the role of the government and their assistance was.

Abstract

Optimal classroom management is one of the important factors in supporting the success of the teaching and learning process, especially at the primary school level. Teachers have an important role as organizers of classroom dynamics, by creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, encouraging educational interactions, and fostering students' enthusiasm for learning. This article aims to examine the effect of the teacher's role in managing the classroom on improving student learning achievement in Civics Education (PKN) subjects in grade 4 SD. Using a qualitative approach based on a literature study, this article reviews the teacher's role in arranging the classroom, choosing appropriate learning strategies, and managing student behavior effectively. The findings of the discussion show that students' active involvement in learning, understanding of Civics Education materials, and their learning outcomes are greatly influenced by the quality of classroom management by teachers. Therefore, teachers are required to have good pedagogical and managerial skills to create meaningful and effective learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps to become a professional teacher in improving the quality of Muhammadiyah teacher learning at SD Muhammadiyah Harjowinangun. Professional teachers are required to have balanced pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the steps taken include: improving competency through training and workshops, strengthening character and integrity, implementing innovative learning methods, utilizing educational technology, and continuous evaluation and reflection on the learning process. These efforts have a positive impact on the quality of learning in the classroom, as seen from the increasing active participation of students and the achievement of learning outcomes. Thus, systematic efforts in building teacher professionalism contribute directly to improving the quality of education in the SD Muhammadiyah Harjowinangun environment.
