Abstract

Abstract: Each student is essence able to speak but is constrained when they are to speak in public such as presentations and speakers. One of guidance and counseling services are effective to improve the ability to speak in public is a Content Mastery service. This research to find out about the Effectivity of Content Mastery Service to Improve Public Speaking Skills in Students SMKN 1 Gunungputri. This research using quantitative research method with experimental research design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data analysis was done by inferential statistical test by using the formula Paired Sample Test and Independent Samples Test. The conclusion is the content mastery service is equally effective to enhance the public speaking ability. It can be seen clearly that the probability figure Asmyp. Sig. (2-tailed) public speaking ability in experimental group and control group is 0,000. It showed the probability under alpha of 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). Keywords: Content Mastery Service, Public Speaking, StudentSkills.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran terkait konsep diri siswa SMK Sumbangsih Jakarta selatan ditinjau dari empat aspek (kondisi fisik, hubungan sosial, keadaan emosional, dan kemampuan intelektual). Sekolah bertanggung jawab meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan mengembangkan konsep diri siswa ke arah yang positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 45 orang siswa menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa konsep diri siswa SMK Sumbangsih Jakarta Selatan berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Simpulan penelitian yaitu siswa SMK Sumbangsih memiliki konsep diri yang sangat tinggi dan tinggi baik dilihat dari aspek kondisi fisik, hubungan sosial, keadaan emosional dan kemampuan intelektual. Implikasi hasil penelitian bagi guru BK adalah sebagai dasar penyusunan program pelayanan BK guna menumbuhkembangkan konsep diri siswa ke arah yang positif.

Abstract

This study aimed to perform relationship between students perceptions on counselling practice with motivational student’s in to individual counselling process. Data collection was conducted against 288 students in Al Hidayah 1 Vocational School - Jakarta. Data analysis used the correlation coefficient test Gamma and Somers'D. The research findings showed coefficient Gamma and Somers'D test reached 0496 with Zhitung > Ztable or 6,523 > 1.96. It means there is a significant relationship and positive direction between the perceptions of students towards counselling and motivation of students followed individual counselling service

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) perform inventory career planning of students, and (2) measuring students career planning based on gender. Data analysis used Rasch model for 45 students with actual power measurement 0.9272652. The research findings showed (1) inventory career planning has been fit with the theoretic model, and (2) female student have a tendency to a higher career planning rather than male student. In the future, to measurement of student’s career planning by using this inventory can only produce a high measurement information for students who have a mediocre ability. Further, the researcher need to consider to eliminate item No. 12 in this inventory due to the biased towards the male gender.

Abstract

This study intends to determine the occurrence of insomnia and the habit of taking multivitamins against learning stress among students during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were obtained in two times from 308 students in East Jakarta, Indonesia, applying a descriptive quantitative approach through the Rasch Model and inferential statistics via the Bayesian Anova. The result showed that the use of multivitamins and the existence of insomnia have been proved to be linked to the incident of stress among students during the early periods of the pandemic. Although the use of multivitamins is helpful to minimize stress, students consuming this commodity are likely to experience by stress up to 40 times higher than those that experience in insomnia. This condition becomes higher assuming the students, in addition to having insomnia, are also not accustomed to receiving multivitamins. The implications of this study, including considerations for better investigation of this issue, have been discussed and concluded.

Abstract

Project-based learning gives young learners an opportunity to combine the literacy of words, grammar, numbers, into productive speech and writing. In implementing a 21st century approach to developing literacy through the project-based learning, teachers need to create a learning situation which has curiosity and gives the young learners a real creative reason to learn. To do this, learning activity was set up in creative interesting projects a round. Each project has several set of creation that the young learners are led to practice with, so that they can find out more about literacy creatively by themselves. They collaborated with other learners to compare, contrast and share their learning experiences and discoveries. Finally, they made the projects creatively, displayed and presented them in groups. So, they have to be creative and innovative in creating and setting the projects through projects learning as well as to analyze and evaluate young learners’ literacy competence. Through Project-Based Learning, teachers of young learners at Kindergarten of TK Asa’adah Limo-Cinere can develop their ability to produce and communicate their literacy competence which is later can be implemented for their young learners there. They worked to define and organize ideas, inspire new topics, imagine the stories to tell, they are able to manage conceptual-problems better than those taught in common learning of literacy as well. In this case, they can write workbook or handbook for their young learners. The training of train teachers by implementing ‘21st century skills’ into the lesson of literacy, ideas, such as collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and communication are becoming effective and extraordinary purpose for the lesson itself.

Abstract

Keterampilan sosial merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam melakukan interaksi dengan orang lain guna membangun hubungan yang baik, tanpa adanya keterampilan sosial dalam diri seseorang maka akan timbul permasalahan seperti halnya tiak memiliki kepercayaan diri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh antara keterampilan sosial dengan kepercayaan diri siswa terisolir. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif analisa korelasional. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 19 siswa terisolir kelas VIII dari keseluruhan populasi 123 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sosiometri, kusioner. Teknik analisa data mengunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh keterampilan sosial dengan kepercayaan diri siswa terisolir. Memiliki besar nilai 12.789, dengan nilai signiikansi sebesar 0,002 < 0,05, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh antara keterampilan sosial dengan kepercayaan diri siswa terisolir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan informasi perilaku seksual dan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap remaja dalam pencegahan perilaku seksual pranikah di wilayah Cinere Depok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Layanan informasi tentang perilaku seksual telah diberikan sebelumnya oleh Konselor di karang taruna. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 70 responden dengan teknik nonprobability sampling. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan uji regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil data yang di dapatkan maka disimpulkan bahwa layanan informasi perilaku seksual berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap remaja dalam pencegahan perilaku seksual pranikah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai R square sebesar 0,728 yang berarti bahwa layanan informasi perilaku seksual dan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja memberikan kontribusi sebesar 72,8% terhadap pencegahan perilaku seksual pranikah dan sisanya sebesar 27,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

This research aims to gives an overview of the self-concept of students SMK Sumbangsih Jakarta Selatan based from four aspects (physical,condision, social relations, emotional state and intellectual ability). Schools are responsible for improving the quality of education and developing self-concept of students in a positive direction. This research uses survey method and data analysis by simple statistical analysis. The sample in this research is 45 students by using saturated sempling techniques. The result of this research shows that the self-concept of students SMK Sumbangsih Jakarta Selatan are in very high category. In conclusion, students of SMK Sumbangsih have very high and high self-concept based on physical,condision, social relations, emotional state and intellectual ability. The implications of research results for BK teachers are the basis for the preparation of BK service programs in order to develop and improve student self-concept in a positive direction.
