Abstract

Mathematics is essential since its application cannot be separated from our daily lives. Moreover, mathematics can also develop an awareness of essential values. Arithmetic operations are one of the mandatory topics in mathematics education at the elementary school level. Addition and subtraction of tens and hundreds are taught in Grade 1 of elementary school. In this grade, mathematics serves as the initial process for students to learn arithmetic operations, which are part of mathematical skills. Counting activities in a simple context have been introduced before students enter elementary school age. However, the abstract nature of mathematics makes it difficult for many students to learn. This phenomenon is evident in the low arithmetic skills of students, as reflected in the low average scores for mathematics, especially in the arithmetic topic.

Abstract

The Effect of the Discovery Learning Model Assisted by Diorama Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Students at SD Negeri 20 Pulubala. Thesis. Department of Elementary Teacher Education. Faculty of Education. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The supervisor is Prof. Dr. Abdul Haris Panai, M.Pd., MCE and the co-supervisor is Dr. Gamar Abdullah, S.Si., M.Pd.The research question in this study is "Does the discovery learning model assisted by diorama media affect the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 20 Pulubala?" The type of research used is quantitative research. This study employed the Pre Experimental Design method with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The independent variable in this study is the Discovery Learning model assisted by diorama media, and the dependent variable is science learning outcomes. The population of this study consists of all fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 20 Pulubala, totaling 14 students. Data collection in this study was carried out using a multiple-choice test method. Data analysis in this study included a normality test, hypothesis testing using the t-test, and N-Gain Score test.The normality test showed normal distribution values based on the research results and discussions. Subsequently, hypothesis testing using SPSS 29 yielded a significant value (one-tailed) of 0.001 <0.05, with the criteria that if the significant value is smaller than 0.05, then HO is rejected and H1 is confirmed, meaning that there is an effect of the discovery learning model assisted by diorama media on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 20 Pulubala. The improvement in student learning outcomes is indicated by an N-Gain Score of 0.63 or 63%, which falls into the moderately effective category.

Abstract

The problem behind this research begins with 63% of students not having reached the KKM and learning not being fully focused on students. This research aims to describe the use of the PjBL model assisted by the Wordwall application to improve student learning outcomes. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) in one of the State Elementary Schools in South City, Gorontalo City. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation and tests with research subjects consisting of students of Class VI at SDN No. 25 Kota Selatan. The results showed that out of a total of 16 students, 6 students (37%) achieved the passing grade, while 10 students (63%) did not achieve the passing grade. In Cycle I, the number of students who achieved the passing grade increased to 9 (56%), while the number of students who did not achieve the passing grade decreased to 7 (44%). Moreover, in the second cycle of the action, there was a significant increase, with 15 students or 94% achieving the passing grade, while 1 student or 6% did not achieve the passing grade. The research results showed that there was a change, namely from 63% to 94% of students who were declared to have achieved the KKM. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the PiBL (Project-Based Learning) model, assisted by the Wordwall application, bas the potential to improve students' learning outcomes on solar system topic in Class VI SDN No. 25 Kota Selatan.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students in science subjects pose a problem that requires innovative solutions in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the improvement of fifth-grade elementary students' learning outcomes in the science theme "Human Movement Organs" through the implementation of an active learning model assisted by Pop-up Book media. This research is categorized as Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over two cycles. The subjects consisted of 20 students, equally divided into 10 male and 10 female students. Data collection techniques included tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using descriptive methods. The findings reveal that in the first cycle, 60% of students achieved mastery, while in the second cycle, this percentage increased to 85%. The integration of active learning approaches with Pop-up Book media proved effective in facilitating students' understanding of complex science concepts. The study concludes that the use of Pop-up Book media not only makes learning more engaging and interactive but also significantly improves student learning outcomes and enhances the overall quality of classroom instruction.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media Kahoot terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SDN 83 Sipatana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi apakah penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dengan bantuan media Kahoot dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, yang dapat berpengaruh pada hasil belajar mereka dalam mata pelajaran IPA Siswa Kelas V Mata Pelajaran IPAS Di SDN 83 Sipatana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Experimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent control Group Design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, di mana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dengan 25 butir soal yang dinyatakan valid. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pengaruh perlakuan, yaitu penggunaan PBL berbantuan media Kahoot. Uji normalitas data dilakukan menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov, sedangkan uji homogenitas menggunakan uji varians dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi produk momen dan uji paired sample t-test untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel independen (PBL berbantuan media Kahoot) dan variabel dependen (motivasi belajar siswa). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 83 Sipatana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Media Kahoot Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas V Mata Pelajaran IPAS Di SDN 83 Sipatana. Hasil data diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,037 < 0,05 pada kelas eksperimen dan untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai nilai signifikan sebesar 0,038 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima karena nilai signifikan kurang dari 0,05.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah "Apakah penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN No. 47 Dumbo Raya?". Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN No. 47 Dumbo Raya melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Wordwall. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN No. 47 Dumbo Raya yang berjumlah 18 orang, terdiri dari 5 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan. Observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa masih sangat rendah, dengan hanya 4 siswa (22%) yang mencapai hasil belajar IPA di atas KKM. Pada pelaksanaan siklus I terjadi peningkatan, yaitu 7 siswa (39%) yang mencapai KKM. Karena belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 75%, penelitian dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dengan 14 siswa (78%) yang mencapai KKM. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN No. 47 Dumbo Raya.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is an integral part of the curriculum in several schools, including SD Laboratorium UNG, Gorontalo City. One of the subjects taught using a differentiated approach at SD Laboratorium UNG, Gorontalo City is Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in grade 4. Based on this, the researcher intends to analyze the implementation of differentiated learning in the subject of IPAS at SD Laboratorium UNG, Gorontalo City. This study focuses on the description of differentiated learning in the subject of IPAS for grade 4 at SD Laboratorium UNG, Gorontalo City. The type of research used is a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that in the aspect of learning planning, a percentage of 70% was obtained (Good category), which indicates the need for improvement in designing learning strategies that are in accordance with student needs. Solutions that can be applied include teacher training and the provision of teaching materials that support differentiation. Meanwhile, the aspect of learning implementation obtained a percentage of 82.2% (Very Good category), indicating that the implementation has been running effectively. However, to be more optimal and sustainable, implementation needs to supported by more mature and systematic planning. ABSTRAKPembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan bagian integral dari kurikulum dibeberapa sekolah, termasuk di SD Laboratorium UNG Kota Gorontalo. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang diampu menggunakan pendekatan berdiferensiasi di SD Laboratorium UNG Kota Gorontalo adalah Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) pada kelas 4. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti bermaksud untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SD Laboratorium UNG Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini berfokus pada deskripsi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas 4 di SD Laboratorium UNG Kota Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek perencanaan pembelajaran diperoleh persentase sebesar 70% (kategori Baik), yang mengindikasikan perlunya peningkatan dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Solusi yang dapat diterapkan antara lain pelatihan guru dan penyediaan perangkat ajar yang mendukung diferensiasi. Sementara itu, aspek pelaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh persentase sebesar 82,2% (kategori Sangat Baik), menandakan pelaksanaan sudah berjalan efektif. Namun, agar lebih optimal dan berkesinambungan, pelaksanaan perlu didukung oleh perencanaan yang lebih matang dan sistematis.

Abstract

This comprehensive study aims to describe and quantitatively investigate whether there is a significant effect of the application of the inquiry learning model integrated with interactive Wordwall media on student learning outcomes, especially on the material of the state of matter and its changes, in the fourth grade environment of SDN 10 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. The research method implemented is quasi-experimental with a specific design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This design involves a comparison between two pre-existing learning groups, namely the experimental class that received special treatment in the form of an inquiry learning model assisted by Wordwall media, and the control class that followed conventional learning. Data collection was carried out through three main techniques: observation to directly observe the learning process and student interactions, learning outcome tests in pre-test and post-test formats to measure students' understanding of the material before and after the intervention, and documentation to collect relevant supporting data. The research sample consisted of 34 third grade students of SDN 10 Kabila. Analysis of learning outcomes showed clear differences: in the pre-test, the control class obtained an average score of 40, which then increased to 56.47 in the post-test. Meanwhile, the experimental class, which implemented the inquiry model assisted by Wordwall media, started with an average pre-test score of 38.82 and showed a very significant spike in achievement in the post-test with an average score reaching 84.51. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and substantial influence of the use of the inquiry learning model integrated with interactive Wordwall media on improving student learning outcomes on the material on the state of matter and its changes in class IV SDN 10 Kabila. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini secara komprehensif bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menginvestigasi secara kuantitatif apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri yang diintegrasikan dengan media interaktif Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi wujud zat dan perubahannya, di lingkungan kelas IV SDN 10 Kabila, Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Metode penelitian yang diimplementasikan adalah quasi experimental dengan desain spesifik Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Desain ini melibatkan perbandingan antara dua kelompok belajar yang telah ada sebelumnya, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerima perlakuan khusus berupa model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan media Wordwall, dan kelas kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui tiga teknik utama: observasi untuk mengamati secara langsung proses pembelajaran dan interaksi siswa, tes hasil belajar dalam format pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, serta dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data pendukung yang relevan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 34 siswa kelas III SDN 10 Kabila. Analisis hasil belajar menunjukkan perbedaan yang jelas: pada pre-test, kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata 40, yang kemudian meningkat menjadi 56,47 pada post-test. Sementara itu, kelas eksperimen, yang menerapkan model inkuiri berbantuan media Wordwall, memulai dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 38,82 dan menunjukkan lonjakan capaian yang sangat signifikan pada post-test dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 84,51. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat ditarik kesimpulan kuat bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan substansial dari pemanfaatan model pembelajaran inkuiri yang diintegrasikan dengan media interaktif Wordwall terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi wujud zat dan perubahannya di kelas IV SDN 10 Kabila.

Abstract

This comprehensive study aims to describe and analyze the effect of the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model integrated with Canva media on student learning outcomes, especially on the water cycle material in class V of SDN 10 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. To achieve this goal, the research method used is a quasi-experimental design, with a specific design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design, which allows comparisons between the experimental group and the control group that are not selected randomly. The data collection process in this study was carried out through a series of techniques including direct observation of learning activities in the classroom, giving learning outcome tests in the form of pre-tests and post-tests to measure student understanding before and after treatment, and documentation studies to complete supporting data. The sample involved in this study were 30 students in class IV of SDN 10 Kabila, divided into two groups. Quantitative data analysis showed significant differences in learning outcomes: the average pre-test score of the experimental class was 42.3 and the control class was 46.7. After the Canva-assisted PjBL learning intervention was given to the experimental class, the average post-test score of the experimental class increased substantially to 84.7, while the control class that received conventional learning achieved an average score of 60. Based on these data, it can be firmly concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of the implementation of the Canva media-assisted Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on improving student learning outcomes in the water cycle material at SDN 10 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini secara komprehensif bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang diintegrasikan dengan media Canva terhadap hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi siklus air di kelas V SDN 10 Kabila, Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design, dengan rancangan spesifik Nonequivalent Control Group Design, yang memungkinkan perbandingan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak dipilih secara acak. Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui serangkaian teknik yang meliputi observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas pembelajaran di kelas, pemberian tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, serta studi dokumentasi untuk melengkapi data pendukung. Sampel yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 10 Kabila yang berjumlah 30 siswa, terbagi dalam dua kelompok. Analisis data kuantitatif menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar: nilai rata-rata pre-test kelas eksperimen adalah 42,3 dan kelas kontrol 46,7. Setelah intervensi pembelajaran PjBL berbantuan Canva diberikan kepada kelas eksperimen, nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen meningkat secara substansial menjadi 84,7, sementara kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional mencapai nilai rata-rata 60. Berdasarkan data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan secara tegas bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Canva terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi siklus air di lingkungan SDN 10 Kabila, Kabupaten Bone Bolango.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Canva media on student learning outcomes on plant body parts material in class IV SDN 10 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency, using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent control group design, where data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation with a sample of 34 class IV students of SDN 10 Kabila in the 2024/2025 academic year. The difference in learning outcomes can be seen from the average pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental and control classes. In the pre-test of the control class, an average score of 42.3 was obtained. The average post-test score in the control class was 62.11. While the average pre-test score of the experimental class was 43.76 and the post-test score was 84. From the learning outcomes of students, there was a difference in learning outcomes in the most significant material on plant body parts through the PBL model assisted by Canva  media and conventional learning. So it can be concluded that the use of the PBL model assisted by Canva AI media has an effect on the learning outcomes of students in class IV SDN 10 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media Canva terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan di kelas IV SDN 10 Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango, menggunakan metode quasi experimental dengan desain Nonequivalent control group design, dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi dengan sampel sebanyak 34 peserta didik kelas IV SDN 10 Kabila tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Perbedaan hasil belajar terlihat dari rata-rata skor pre-test dan post test di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pada pre test kelas kontrol, diperoleh nilai rata-rata 42,3. Nilai rata-rata post test pada kelas kontrol yaitu 62,11. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pre test kelas eksperimen yaitu 43,76 dan nilai posttest 84. Dari hasil belajar peserta didik, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan yang paling signifikan melalui model PBL Berbantuan media canva dan pembelajaran konvensional. Maka dapat dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model PBL berbantuan media Canva berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas IV SDN 10 Kabila, Kabupaten Bone Bolango.
