Abstract

Abstrak. This research aimed to see the Bia Music Phenomenon in Batu Village, North Minahasa Regency in an effort to pass on traditional music in the context of art education. Inheriting traditional music is a cultural problem in the dynamics of human life. The process of inheritance is seen as one of the activities of transfer, transmission, ownership between generations in order to maintain tradition in a family tree that moves continuously and simultaneously. The method in this paper uses a qualitative descriptive method, descriptive method is a method in finding facts about the status of a human group, an object, a condition, a system of thought or an event in the present with the right interpretation (Sedarmayanti., Hidayat, 2002). Qualitative research does not merely describe, but more importantly, finds the meaning contained behind it, as a hidden meaning or intentionally hidden (Ratna, 2010). The purpose of inheritance is generally to maintain cultural values from the past, as well as efforts to maintain the arts. This paper aims to discuss the inheritance system in Bia Music as an effort to preserve the existence of the art. By using the inheritance system theory, this paper examines the types of inheritance in the context of art education and the efforts made in the inheritance process in order to maintain the preservation of the existence of traditional arts.

Abstract

Deconstruction is viewed as a new and radical perspective in understanding texts or current events and has broad and challenging implications for changing perspectives in education and educational management, aiming to enhance stronger critical and creative thinking skills for participants. Learner-centered education has become an open trend in contemporary education in Indonesia, particularly in the digital-based social, era 5.0. The adaptation of deconstruction in differentiated learning model presents both opportunities and challenges in developing critical and creative thinking, fostering collaboration, and strengthening communication skills while also considering the needs of individual learners. This study examines and analyzes the adaptation of deconstruction to the differentiated learning model as a manifestation of independent learning. It employs a radical hermeneutic qualitative research approach, conducting an in-depth literature review on the various forms of deconstruction adaptation that can be applied in differentiated learning. The adaptation of deconstruction allows educators not only to address the diverse needs of individual learners but also opens up greater opportunities to build critical and creative thinking, collaboration, communication skills. Learners become individuals with strong and sharp critical thinking skills who continuously offer new ideas and concepts in response to changes and events in their surroundings, becoming part of the solution to problems. This research are expected to assist educators in discovering and determining new, more dynamic formulas in teaching and learning in schools such as concept, metode, approach, evaluation in teaching, and ultimately fostering learners' critical thinking abilities by prioritizing a deconstructive perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the source of inspiration for Sendang Batik craftsmen in utilizing the exotic nature of the coast and the culture of the transitional Islamic period as an idea for the creation of batik crafts, and to examine the function of batik in the socio-cultural environment of coastal communities. This research is a qualitative-interpretative research with a semiotic-cultural approach. Using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory and Edmund Burke Feldman's function theory as a knife of analysis and as a theoretical basis in understanding the idea of ​​creation and function of Batik Sendang. The research locus is in Sendangduwur Village, Paciran, Lamongan, East Java with the object of Sendang Batik. Data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that Batik Sendang craftsmen took inspiration from the exotic coastal natural environment in the form of crabs, frog capes, palm leaves and limestone hills, as well as the cultural values ​​of the transitional Islamic period in the form of lotus flower reliefs, paduraksa winged arches, singo mengkok and peacocks in Sunan Sendang Duwur Cemetery complex. Sendang batik in the socio-cultural of coastal communities has a function as (1) the expression of craftsmen in channeling their ideas, desires and creativity through batik craft, (2) magical objects that contain spiritual values ​​that are trusted, believed, internalized and used as guidelines by the community, (3) clothing in social life, both used in daily activities, government agencies, education, health, typical Lamongan clothing and parts of other arts.

Abstract

Madihin is a traditional art in the Banjar community which is a local wisdom identity owned by the Banjar people. The background of this research is how a concept and ideology about art certainly becomes the basis or main basis for artists in believing in and carrying out the process of art. The methodology used in this paper is a qualitative approach by looking at and approaching the object of research naturally and naturally. The results and discussion obtained in this study are how a thought or ideology that is owned by madihin artists in the city of Banjarmasin is the ideology put forward by Henry Giroux, namely conservative ideology as a form of preservation and maintaining traditional values contained in madihin art.
