Abstract

This study examines the integration of educational management in the development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in three senior high schools in Ternate: SMA Negeri 1 Ternate, SMA Alkhairaat Ternate, and SMA Islam Ternate. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to understand the integration of educational management in the development of PAI curriculum in three senior high schools in Ternate, North Maluku. The subjects of the study included the principal, vice principal, PAI teachers, students, and school committees. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), participant observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic analysis approach, including data familiarization, coding, theme search, theme review, theme definition, and report writing. Data triangulation and member checking were used to increase the credibility of the study. This study revealed that the integration of educational management in the PAI curriculum in Ternate is influenced by the local context with different approaches in each school. Key findings include curriculum contextualization, school-based management, the role of stakeholders, and implementation challenges. Limitations include limited scope and short time; further research is needed. The integration of PAI education management in Ternate varies between schools, reflecting the local context. Challenges include integrating Islamic values, balancing the curriculum, and developing contextual methods.

Abstract

Berbicara tentang Pendidikan Islam tentunya tidak lepas dari bagaimana pencapaian pendidikan untuk memajukan Islam dan mencapai cita-cita masyarakat Islam secara umumnya yaitu “Rahmatan lil ‘alamin”. Berbagai asumsi pendidikan telah dipilih dan di adopsi oleh seseorang, sekelompok orang, atau lembaga pendidikan akan berfungsi memberikan dasar rujukan konseptual dalam rangka pendidikan yang dilaksanakannya. Secara umum, dapat dikatakan bahwa falsafah pendidikan adalah memberikan dasar pijakan atau titik tolak bagi seseorang, sekelompok orang atau lembaga dalam rangka pembinaan keluarga berdasakan pada nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini mencoba melihat aspek nilai-nilai dalam pendidikan islam yang yang ditanamkan pada komunitas mualaf ini dalam mendidik anak-anaknya. Dari latar belakang yang dikemukakan, maka peneliti dapat merumuskan permasalahanya dalam penelitian ini sebagai berikut:Bagaimana uapaya mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai Pendidikan islam dalampada komunitas mualaf tobelo? Upaya yang dilakukan oleh kementerian agama Halmahera Utara dalam menananmkan Pendidikan islam dalam keluarga mualaf untuk membentuk keluarga ?. Jenis pendekatan studi kasus ini merupakan jenis pendekatan yangdigunakan untuk menyelidiki dan memahami sebuah kejadian atau masalah yang telahterjadi dengan mengumpulkan berbagai macam informasi yang kemudian diolah untukmendapatkan sebuah solusi agar masalah yang diungkap dapat terselesaikan.Lokasi yang akan menjadi tempat penelitian yaitu Tobelo Kabupaten Halmahera Utara Penelitian ini di rencanakan dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret  sampai Juni 2023. Lokasi yang penelitian ini dipilih karena berdekatan dengan tempetat tinggal peneliti, sehingga mempermudah peneliti dalam pengambilan data. Penerpan pendidikanAgamapadakeluargamualafdiTobelo – Kab. Halmahera Utara, orang tua mualaf mengajarkan pendidikanagama terutama dalam hal ibadah, dengan cara mengajak shalat berjamaa‟ahbersamamembimbinganak-anakuntukshalatberjama‟ahdimasjidmenyekolahkan anak ke Lembaga Pendidikan Islam, mendatangkan guru mengaji kerumah, sertamengajikananak-anak ke TPQ.Orangtuamualafmendidikanakmenggunakan metodeketeladanan, pembiasaan, nasehat, reward (penghargaan) dan hukuman.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the mastery of Arabic and Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects in class VIII students of MTs Negeri 1 Tidore. The type of research used was a correlational research or relationship research with a quantitative approach method. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires and documentation. This study has two variables, so the data analysis used was a single correlation technique using the Product Moment correlation coefficient technique formula. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between mastery of Arabic and mastery of Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects. This was evidenced by the correlation coefficient value of 1.574 which can be interpreted that the value was in the interval of 0.80 - 1,000. Therefore, it can be concluded that the correlation between variables X and Y was high.

Abstract

This study investigates the perceptions of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students at IAIN Ternate regarding religious tolerance and moderation, highlighting the gap between curriculum narratives and social realities on campus. Although religious moderation has been integrated into the curriculum as part of national Islamic education policy, many students still exhibit exclusive attitudes and discomfort in interfaith interactions. A survey revealed that 45% of students feel uneasy interacting with peers from different religious backgrounds, and 30% tend to engage in rigid, non-dialogical religious discussions. These findings indicate a challenge in translating theoretical knowledge into practical behavior. The study uses a qualitative approach to explore how moderation values are internalized in students’ academic and social environments. It found that while students understand the concept intellectually, its application remains limited due to socio-cultural factors. The results suggest the need for more contextual and interactive learning strategies that can bridge this gap such as value-based discussions, pluralism-based student programs, and inclusive role models. This research provides valuable insights for curriculum developers and educators aiming to cultivate religious moderation as a lived value, not merely a theoretical concept, particularly in multicultural Islamic higher education settings like IAIN Ternate.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the religious moderation program in private Aliyah Madrasah in Lebak Regency, Banten Province. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of religious moderation policies, identify strategies for the implementation of religious moderation policies, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of religious moderation by teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hidayah Lebakjaha and Madrasah Aliyah Daar El-Ishlah Malingping, Lebak Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observational data collection methods, interviews, and documentation. The stages of data analysis include data reduction, data presentation, and data verification, while checking the validity of data is carried out by expanding participation, accuracy of observation, triangulation, and consultation with supervisors. The results of the study show that: (1) The implementation of the strategy to strengthen religious moderation in madrassas has been integrated with the values of religious moderation through teaching and learning activities (KBM), extracurricular activities (SKI), and habituation activities. (2) The strategy to strengthen religious moderation in Madrasah is an effort made by the head of the madrasah, namely: (a) Persuasive approach, (b) Deideologizing teachers who are exposed to extreme understanding, (c) Integrative policy of religious moderation, (d) Synergizing learning programs with activities outside of learning, and supporting factors for the implementation of religious moderation in madrasas include: Vision and mission of the madrasah, madrasah regulations, community interest,  The atmosphere of the madrasah is conducive, infrastructure facilities, motivation for achievement, and academic qualifications of supervisors, while the inhibiting factors are inadequate library conditions, social media/mass, community environment, and family environment. The implementation of the religious moderation program at the private Aliyah Madrasah in Lebak Regency has shown positive results. The strategies implemented by the head of the madrasah and the existing supporting factors have helped in integrating the values of religious moderation into learning activities and madrasah life. However, there are still several inhibiting factors that need to be overcome to increase the effectiveness of religious moderation programs in madrassas.
