Abstract

Ustadz / Ustadzah occupy the position of scholars as heirs of the prophets who have an obligation to educate and become role models for the students. The educational thoughts of Syech Nawawi Al-Bantani can be used as a reference in educating the students at the Al-Huda Islamic Boarding School, Kebumen. The purpose of this research study was to find out how the implications of Syech Nawawi Al-Bantani's philosophy on the growth of knowledge at the Al-Huda Islamic Boarding School, Kebumen. This study was qualitative; the data analysis included data reduction, presentation, and verification/conclusion. So that it can provide research results that Syech Nawawi Al-Bantani has the thought that humans remain in Tauhid Uluhiyah, Tauhid Rububiyah, and Tauhid al-Asma wa al-Sifah which can be proven by the sincerity of the students in carrying out religious orders as a form of responsibility of a servant. Another positive impact was that a strong feeling of duty was tied to educational thought, which bolstered students' moral responsibility. Additionally, students were more inventive in their pursuit of abilities and expertise

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the BK program at SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Bener so that it can be improved and developed even better. To find out the mechanism of the BK program at SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Bener, we use a comprehensive BK pattern to find out and understand what planning is being done in the comprehensive guidance and counseling service program. The comprehensive BK pattern itself is an effort to provide assistance to each student in order to develop their potential as optimally as possible. This research uses descriptive research method with survey type. Based on research conducted on the description of the implementation of the BK service management system at SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Bener, it is not yet in the high category that implements the BK service management system.

Abstract

The current moral decline of students is very worrying, even though the essence of education is to increase moral values. The government has implemented several policies to address this issue. However, the visible changes have not yet materialized, underscoring the critical role of Islamic education in shaping character education for the Indonesian nation. This study aims to learn about Islamic education from the perspective of character education for the Indonesian people. The research method used is literature research, which involves searching for and viewing data related to themes, types, and research approaches. The researchers divide the qualitatively descriptive data into primary and secondary categories for subsequent analysis from the correct perspective. The results of this study indicate that Islamic education has several concepts for shaping the character of Indonesian students in accordance with the long-term plans of the Indonesian nation. Furthermore, Islamic education exemplifies character education by drawing on the example of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. This article concludes that Islamic education in shaping students' character is following the objectives of character education in Indonesia as stated in the 2005–2025 National Long-term Development Plan.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the learning material and implementation of the internalization of religious moderation at the An-Nawawi Purworejo Islamic boarding school (pesantren) through the five basic principles of religious moderation. The research method used is qualitative research. In collecting data, the researcher used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using the processes of data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. The result is that religious moderation has been achieved through the five basic principles of religious moderation, which are carried out by providing learning material including an understanding of religious values, tolerance, inter-religious dialogue, developing critical thinking skills, and emphasizing universal values. The learning method involves values education, Islamic teacher exemplariness, discussions in religious harmony forums, and technology and social media utilization.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an approach that supports the recognition of diversity, especially in the context of religiosity. The inclusive Islamic education model is relevant in responding to the challenges of diversity in Indonesia, especially in a pluralistic society. This study examines the inclusive Islamic education model based on community organizations by studying the DIAN Interfidei Community in Yogyakarta. This research method uses qualitative data collection techniques: in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The study results indicate that the Dian Interfidei Community developed an inclusive education model through programs prioritizing interfaith dialogue, tolerance, and respect for differences. Islamic education based on community organizations such as that carried out by DIAN Interfidei can be a strategic alternative in promoting the values of inclusivity and tolerance in Indonesia. The implementation at the implementation stage has been by the logical framework, namely encouraging dialogue between religion and politics, encouraging interfaith relations to develop in Indonesia (collaboration with interfaith communities, educational institutions and government institutions), Financing the establishment of interfaith schools (SLI), and Building interfaith awareness through social activities

Abstract

Masjid dalam sejarah Islam memiliki peran yang luas, tidak hanya sebagai tempat ibadah, tetapi juga sebagai pusat sosial, politik, dan pendidikan. Sejak masa Rasulullah hingga kepemimpinan Umar bin Khattab, masjid berfungsi sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang berkembang pesat. Namun, dalam perkembangan modern, fungsi masjid cenderung dipersempit hanya sebagai tempat ibadah salat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji upaya rekonstruksi fungsi masjid sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam dengan studi kasus Masjid Darussalam Kebumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus untuk menganalisis rekonstruksi fungsi Masjid Darussalam Kebumen sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Masjid Darussalam Kebumen merupakan pusat ibadah dan kegiatan keagamaan yang memiliki peran strategis dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Selain sebagai tempat shalat, masjid ini berfungsi sebagai pusat pembelajaran dan pemberdayaan sosial-ekonomi. Rekonstruksi fungsi masjid sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peranannya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman keislaman dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Upaya ini mencakup penyelenggaraan ibadah secara tertib, pengajian, pelatihan keterampilan, pembinaan remaja, serta pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis ZIS dan wakaf. Dengan berbagai program tersebut, Masjid Darussalam bertransformasi menjadi pusat penguatan spiritual dan sosial bagi umat.

Abstract

Unfortunately, bullying is still a major issue in today's schools, negatively affecting both the emotional well-being and academic performance of students. Examining the methods used by school administrators to curb bullying in the classroom is the primary objective of this research. The research was conducted in a junior high school in [area name] using a qualitative approach. Data was gathered through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that bullying prevention efforts were carried out through three main strategies: (1) strict school policies against bullies, (2) strengthening student character through guidance and counseling services and religious activities, and (3) active involvement of parents and the community in supervision and education related to the impact of bullying. Also, the school uses digital media for advocacy and reporting. Based on these results, it's clear that a proactive, team-oriented approach to school safety can make a big difference for kids. The study's findings should hopefully inform the development of anti-bullying policies at other educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of student management in optimizing superior programs to instill moral values in MTs N 2 Purworejo. The method used in this study is field research with a qualitative approach, which is carried out directly in the MTs N 2 Purworejo environment. Data collection is carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation to ensure the accuracy of this. Data analysis applies the Miles and Huberman model, which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. The results of the study show that the optimization of student management in forming moral character in MTs N 2 Purworejo has run effectively through four main stages: planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The planning stage begins with a meeting at the beginning of the year, while the organizing stage includes the preparation of a schedule and the formulation of SOPs regarding adab. The implementation of the program involves all elements of the madrasah through various activities, such as 3S culture (Smile, Salutation, Greeting), joint prayer, tadarus, congregational prayers, as well as literacy and hygiene programs. Evaluations are carried out periodically through monthly meetings, and attitude assessments are included in student report cards. This research has implications for education practitioners in both formal and non-formal education.
