Abstract

Geguritan (Javanese poetry) is a fascinating literary work to study from various perspectives, one of which is from the perspective of ecocriticism. Ecocriticism examines environmentally oriented criticism of literary works. This research examines ecocriticism in the geguritan "Sendhang Tirta Panggesangan," created by S. Wignya Raharja. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The data in this research is in the form of sentences in the "Sendhang Tirta Panggesangan" geguritan. The data collection technique used was the literature study technique, which involved studying reference sources from similar articles regarding literary ecocriticism. The data analysis technique used is content analysis, which is carefully reading the geguritan and analyzing it using literary ecocriticism. The results of the research show that there is ecocriticism contained in the "Sendhang Tirta Panggesangan" geguritan in the form of a depiction of the sendhang environment, which has been polluted and is no longer natural as a result of human activities.

Abstract

Communicating using unggah-ungguh basa Jawa or correct Javanese speech acts is currently one of the obstacles for students in the Java area, especially class VII students at SMP 4 Kudus. This is proven by the low average score on the Javanese pacelathon material. Based on these observations, it is necessary to apply the role playing learning model to improve polite Javanese speaking skills in the language unggah-ungguh basa Jawa speaking material. The aim of this research is to improve Javanese Krama speaking skills through role playing models. The results of the research show that learning outcomes in the unggah-ungguh basa Jawa speaking material have increased in the sufficient category, which was originally 46%, experiencing an increase of 64% in cycle 2, which means that in cycle II there were no students in the sufficient category. Furthermore, for the less than 14% category, in cycle 2 it increased to 86%. In cycle II, it showed that 100% of students were in the good (57%) and very good (43%) categories. The conclusion is that after studying with the role playing learning model, class VII A students originally had a class average score of 73.6, after implementing the role playing model it became 88.5. The conclusion of this research is that the role playing learning model improves Javanese Krama speaking skills.

Abstract

We know that writing skills in literature learning are skills that cannot be considered easy. Because this skill will certainly require a person's ability to be able to express ideas, ideas, thoughts and feelings so that they can become a work of art. Even other people can understand and feel the benefits of the work. So the learning outcomes that have been achieved by a school, whether high or low or good or bad, will really depend on the learning process. In particular, what learning experiences have been experienced and learned by the student. Because after all, experience is the best teacher. The author, as a Javanese language teacher, is fully aware that there are many students and students with different characteristics. Characteristics, abilities, knowledge, understanding, and so on in an effort to practice the material presented are certainly different. The aim of this research is to find out whether the BU EMI Model can improve the Cerkak writing achievement of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Baureno, Bojonegoro Regency. In this way, the Javanese language teaching and learning process is more effective and provides optimal results for students. Data resulting from the practical application of learning innovation at the first meeting, students seemed reluctant to write personal experiences into a Cerkak. Most likely this is because students generally feel they are not used to writing Cerkak and therefore find it difficult. That kind of thinking needs to be dismissed by using innovative learning models. Then the author tried to use the BU EMI Model. It turned out that class IX students became more enthusiastic. This can certainly increase students' grades in learning Cerkak Writing. In the end, this can also improve student achievement in learning Cerkak Writing. Cerkak is difficult. Such thinking needs to be pushed aside by using innovative models. Then the author uses this EMI BU Model. It turned out that class IX students became more enthusiastic. This certainly can increase student scores in Writing Cerkak. In the end it can also increase student achievement in learning Cerkak Writing.

Abstract

Students' final paper generally has a page containing a preface which, interms of form and content, comprises an intact piece of discourse written with anarrative style. The number of paragraphs is in accordance with the contents andmessages the writer delivers to the reader. The paragraphs are designed to containwhat the writer wishes to express to certain respective parties: praises to God,information about the objective of a research the paper reports and the purpose ofwriting the paper, acknowledgements expressing gratitude, the writer's hopes, andinformation about the place, date, month, and year the paper writing is completed.Aspects of discourse completeness that stand out are cohesion, coherence, andtopicalization. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menginterpretasikan bentuk proposisional wacana iklan dan dinamisasi citra perempuan Jawa modern dalam media iklan di media massa. Citra perempuan Jawa modern yang dimaksud adalah gambaran dan harapan sosok dan kemampuan seorang perempuan Jawa modern yang diidamkan. Hanya saja, citra itu terbatas pada iklan di media massa. Ini berarti hasil pencitraan dengan sendirinya bersifat relatif. Data diambil dari media massa cetak dan elektronik. Pengambilan data dilakukan di wilayah Yogyakarta, selama kurun waktu 6 bulan, dengan pengambilan sampel secara insidental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk proposisional iklan bersifat persuasif dan berisi: proposisonal deklaratif, proposisional interogatif, proposisional imperative, dan proposisional eksklamatif. Sementara itu pencitraan perempuan Jawa modern tergambar dalam lima citra: pandai mengatur rumah, pandai berbelanja, pandai menjaga kecantikan, pandai menjaga penampilan, dan pandai mengurus keluarga. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap makna flora sebagai bentuk metafora di dalam teks Wanita Utama. Teks Wanita Utama merupakan manuskrip beraksara Jawa yang terhimpun dalam bundel naskah Kandha Gedhog Saha Kempalan Warni-Warni. Teks ini merupakan koleksi perpustakaan Pura Pakualaman dengan nomor koleksi Ll. 12/0114/PP/73. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kajian naskah yang diadaptasi dari metode penelitian filologi modern terbatas. Langkah-langkah penelitian kajian naskah yang dilakukan adalah (1) deskripsi naskah, (2) transliterasi teks dari aksara Jawa ke aksara Latin, (3) terjemahan teks dari bahasa Jawa ke bahasa Indonesia, dan (4) analisis isi teks dengan melakukan pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik untuk mengungkap makna flora yang terdapat dalam teks Wanita Utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teks Wanita Utama menggunakan beberapa nama bunga, bagian dari bunga, dan nama tumbuh-tumbuhan sebagai bentuk metafora untuk menggambarkan serta memuji sosok wanita. Nama tumbuh-tumbuhan yang dipakai sebagai metafora adalah: (1) sebagai tipologi wanita, yaitu kembang Anggrek Wulan, kembang Nagasari, kembang Sulastri, Murtiningkang sari, Si Kebon, Dewadaru, dan Tembako (2) sebagai bagian dari tubuh wanita, yaitu pradapa, dan kandhaone, (3) sebagai sebutan untuk wanita, yaitu puspita dan kusuma, serta (4) sebagai wangsalan, yaitu wilada dan elo.

Abstract

Hakikat pendidikan selain membantu manusia menjadi cerdas dan pintar juga membimbing mereka menjadi manusia yang berbudi luhur. Dibandingkan dengan menjadikan seseorang pintar akan lebih sulit membantu manusia menjadi bijak, sehingga sangat wajar jika permasalahan moral akan terus menjadi persoalan akut yang mengiringi kehidupan manusia. Fakta inilah yang kemudian menjadikan pentingnya menyelenggarakan pendidikan karakter mulai dari tingkat pendidikan dasar. Pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar dapat diperkuat melalui integrasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal, seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam film pendek "Unggah-Ungguh" karya Arfan Agusta. Namun, penggunaan film sebagai media pembelajaran untuk membentuk pendidikan karakter harus mampu membentuk emosional dan perubahan positif dalam diri peserta didik, sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat lebih efektif dan mendalam. Berdasarkan latar belakang dan pertanyaan di atas, studi kualitatif ini akan dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan analisis wacana Van Dijk untuk melihat bagaimana nilai budaya lokal dikomunikasikan dan direpesentasikan dalam film “Unggah-Ungguh”. Sebagai hasil temuan awal, dapat diketahui jika truktur makro menyoroti tema pendidikan karakter melalui nilai unggah-ungguh dan benturan antara nilai tradisional dengan sikap individualistis. Struktur superstruktur menekankan pentingnya unggah-ungguh dalam membangun hubungan sosial yang baik. Adapun struktur mikro mencakup penggunaan bahasa Jawa, Serat Wulangreh, dan paribasan sebagai medium pembelajaran, serta interaksi tokoh yang mencerminkan konflik nilai-nilai budaya. Temuan-temuan ini menggarisbawahi pesan mendalam film ini tentang pentingnya menjaga nilai-nilai budaya dan etika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui analisis mendalam ini, penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana sinema dapat membentuk dan memperkuat pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai budaya dalam pendidikan karakter di tingkat pendidikan dasar. .KATA KUNCI analisis wacana, pendidikan karakter, unggah-ungguh

Abstract

The research on the adsorption of methylene blue dye by activated charcoal of lai fruit seeds has been conducted. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum pH and time as well as the maximum adsorption capacity and isotherm type (Langmuir and Freundlich) of activated charcoal of lai fruit seeds in adsorbing methylene blue dye. In this study, activated charcoal was made through a carbonation process at a temperature of 500 oC for 4 hours and was chemically activated by soaking in 2 M HCl for 24 hours. Characterization of activated charcoal was carried out using water content test, ash content, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrum analysis, and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). In lai seed charcoal, the water content value was 8.97% and in lai seed activated charcoal it was 8.27%, the ash content was 0.16% in lai seed charcoal and 0.09% in lai seed activated charcoal. The surface area of lai seed charcoal and lai seed activated charcoal obtained values of 72.201 m²/g and 80.230 m²/g respectively. The results of the FTIR spectra on lai seed activated charcoal showed the presence of C-H (1426.21 cm-1), C=C (1591.65 cm-1), C=O (1690.06 cm-1), O-H (3320.22 cm-1). Based on the results of SEM on lai seed charcoal, the particle surface looks rough and uneven, and has pores and a larger surface area. The adsorption of methylene blue follows the Freundlich isotherm model. The methylene blue adsorption test showed an optimum pH at 8, and an optimum time of 45 minutes with a maximum adsorption capacity of 32.69 mg/g.
