Abstract

The study seeks to identify the approaches and factors, both supportive and hindering, utilized by teachers in fostering a compassionate ethos at MI Ash Shiddiqiyah. Employing qualitative descriptive research, the author draws upon school principals, teachers, and students as data sources. Data gathering methods encompass observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves the reduction of information, presentation of findings, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the teacher strategy used is implementing activities that must be carried out daily so that it becomes a habit, such as cleaning every morning, in addition to providing sufficient cleaning tools, providing insight into the importance of caring for environmental cleanliness which is integrated into the learning process, providing motivation. , appreciation, and good example by teachers. The supporting factor in forming this character is that teachers receive a lot of support from the school principal and the school committee. Apart from supporting factors, there are inhibiting factors in this process, namely the lack of availability of clean water supplies. The conclusion is that the strategies used by teachers are quite varied and continue to be implemented and even improved in protecting the environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to elucidate the improvement of Early Childhood Education management at Attoriq Pamekasan through the implementation of educational management. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive, using interviews, observation, and documentation as data-gathering techniques. Data processing involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings illustrate that Attoriq PAUD School has a planning process involving full participation from the headmaster, teachers, and students to achieve clear goals and address existing problems. The organization is conducted considering management principles such as workforce grouping, authority determination, and time discipline. Each school member has their own responsibilities in line with the school's vision and mission. Implementation of educational activities aims to maintain discipline, adhere to instructions, and prioritize collective interests. The headmaster provides guidance and bonuses as appreciation for hard work and cooperation. Regular supervision is conducted to ensure all activities are in accordance with the plan and to identify and address weaknesses for continuous improvement of education quality.

Abstract

This study aims to explain and describe the discipline of school principals, its implementation, and its impact on teachers' motivation. The research was conducted qualitatively using a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data processing: condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity: technique triangulation and source triangulation. The research results show that the principal demonstrates excellent performance in motivating teachers, conducting evaluations, serving as a role model, and creating a positive climate. The assessment of handling complaints, classroom supervision, and open communication achieved an average score of 3.87, reflecting good performance, but with room for improvement. Teachers feel that the principal's discipline supports their work, with an average score of 4.0, and they have respect and trust in the principal (score 4.4). However, the score of 3.6 indicates variation in opinions regarding the influence of discipline on teachers' professionalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan secara mendalam peran disiplin kepala sekolah dalam membentuk dan meningkatkan motivasi mengajar guru. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus multi-situs di dua sekolah dasar di Madura, penelitian ini menggali aspek kepemimpinan, kedisiplinan, dan strategi peningkatan motivasi guru. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam membentuk lingkungan kerja yang positif, memberikan teladan disiplin, menerapkan sistem reward and punishment, serta memfasilitasi pengembangan profesional guru. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kepemimpinan yang disiplin dan suportif dapat meningkatkan motivasi, kinerja, dan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Perundungan di sekolah merupakan peristiwa yang perlu diatasi oleh semua pihak. Perundungan memiliki dampak yang sangat berbahaya bagi perkembangan seseorang baik masih anak-anak atau dewasa. Penurunan kesehatan jasmani maupun psikologi menjadi sasaran perilaku perundungan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya kegiatan pendidikan dan pendampingan yang harus dilakukan. Pendampingan ini dikemas dalam bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang akan dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Lempuing Jaya. Tujuan kegiatan ini agar guru bersama siswa menjadi lebih memahami jenis-jenis tindakan perundungan serta mencegah adanya tindakan berbahaya ini serta menegakkan kebijakan yang lebih tegas terhadap tindakan perundungan. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu dengan mengadakan pelatihan/ in house training bersama guru dan staf tata usaha yang berjumlah 39 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama satu hari yaitu pada tanggal 27 September 2024. Kegiatan terdiri dari sesi penyampaian materi dengan ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi bersama mengenai kasus atau insiden yang ditemui guru dalam kehidupan sehari-hari bersama teman sejawat atau juga terjadi dengan siswanya. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terjadi peningkatan pemahaman yang lebih tinggi tentang pengertian, jenis dan dampak dari tindakan perundungan dan kekerasan terutama jenis perundungan dalam bentuk verbal, yang notabene nya sering di alami atau dilihat oleh guru bersama siswa. Sehingga setelah kegiatan ini selesai sekolah dapat mencegah dan mengatasi tindakan perundungan dan kekerasan dengan memasang poster ajakan “stop bullying” , guru memberikan motivasi serta selalu mengingatkan agar berperilaku yang positif dan tentunya juga membuat kebijakan yang tegas terhadap tindakan bullying.   Kata kunci: Perundungan, Kekerasan, Kekerasan Seksual

Abstract

Philosophy plays a crucial role in shaping a nation's cultural identity by understanding cultural roots, worldview, morality, and cultural concepts in response to the continuously evolving challenges of globalization. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic philosophy in shaping cultural identity through ethical, moral, and spiritual values that influence social and cultural life. This research employs a literature review method to examine relevant scholarly works, assess current knowledge, and identify research gaps as a foundation for further study. The results indicate that Islamic philosophy plays a crucial role in shaping Indonesia’s cultural identity by integrating Islamic values with local culture, as well as education and political policies that support moderation and inclusivity. This approach strengthens social harmony within a pluralistic society. Islamic philosophy not only enriches the intellectual tradition but also serves as a foundation for fostering tolerance and understanding among different groups. These findings emphasize the importance of combining cultural and religious aspects in developing policies and education that can inclusively and sustainably strengthen the national cultural identity. Conclusion: Philosophy shapes a nation's cultural identity through values and critical reflection, although literature-based studies remain limited.
