Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of dance in developing children's social skills at Anline Kindergarten. Social skills are an important component in early childhood development which includes the ability to interact, communicate, work together and manage emotions. The research approach used is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses thematic analysis techniques to identify main themes from the results of interviews and observations. The subjects of this research were teachers at Anline Kindergarten. The research results show that the Batak Tor-Tor dance is effective in developing children's social and emotional skills. Through dance movements, children learn to express their emotions, which helps them better understand and manage those emotions. Group dance activities provide opportunities for interaction with peers, which strengthens cooperation, mutual communication, and empathy. Dance also teaches discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence as children learn moves and perform in front of others. Children who initially feel shy become more confident and motivated when supported by their friends. The experience of dancing together makes this activity more fun and meaningful, so that children feel more enthusiastic and eager to learn. The strategy for implementing the Tor-Tor Batak dance is carried out in stages according to the child's abilities and is carried out repeatedly so that the information is stored in long-term memory. Dance practice is held regularly every Friday and additional practice is held after school. Teachers use YouTube guides to practice dance moves, pay attention to children's facial expressions, and encourage them to always smile while dancing. With proper guidance, children become more disciplined and confident in their performance. Apart from that, the strategy for implementing the Batak tor-tor dance carried out by Anline Kindergarten in developing children's social-emotional abilities is Learning Dance Movements and Techniques, Collaboration and Social Interaction, Evaluation and Monitoring Progress, and Integration with the Educational Curriculum.

Abstract

Mastery of vocabulary is a crucial element in learning Arabic, particularly for young children. However, the main challenge in this process is making the learning experience both engaging and effective, in line with the developmental characteristics of 5-6-year-old children. This study aims to examine the use of the singing method as a strategy to enhance vocabulary mastery in early childhood. The research adopts a qualitative-descriptive approach, gathering data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the singing method successfully creates a fun learning environment, boosts children's motivation, and helps them easily remember and acquire Arabic vocabulary. The chosen songs feature simple vocabulary that aligns with children's everyday lives, accompanied by movements to reinforce understanding and encourage active participation. The implementation of this method also supports the development of children's cognitive, emotional, and motor skills. Therefore, the singing method has proven to be an effective and innovative approach in teaching Arabic to 5-6-year-old children.

Abstract

Etika dan Moral mempunyai pengertian yang hampir bersamaan/berkaitan, karena keduanya mengandung nilai dan normauntuk mengatur tingkah laku manusia, yang mengacu pada kebiasaan yang berlaku dalam masyarakat. Guru berperan sebagai sumber ilmu atau sumber belajar bagi siswanya. Siswa akan belajar dari apayang diberikan oleh gurunya. Di sinilah guru harus berhati-hati dalam bertutur kata danberperilaku, sebab semuanya akan ditiru oleh siswanya. Karena itu, sudah guru memiliki etika dan moral yang baik dalam melakukan tugasnya sebagai punggawa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pengenalan pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini memiliki peran krusial dalam upaya pencegahan terjadinya kekerasan seksual terhadap anak. Pendidikan seks merupakan komponen penting dalam membantu anak mengembangkan moral dan karakter mereka, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan sosial dan perkembangan tubuh yang lebih kompleks. Meskipun topik ini sering kali tabu, pendidikan seks berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip Islam dapat memberikan pelajaran yang jelas dan tepat yang selaras dengan pendidikan agama. Pendidikan seks yang diberikan sejak dini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar mengenai tubuh, batasan, dan hak-hak anak terhadap dirinya sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji konsep pendidikan seksual bagi anak dari perspektif Islam, sebagaimana dinyatakan dalam Al-Qur'an dan Hadits. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data atau kepustakaan library research dengan analisis sastra untuk menganalisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an dan Hadits yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam mengajarkan tentang perlunya mematuhi prinsip-prinsip moral, melakukan pengendalian diri, dan memahami konsep aurat dan ikatan yang mengikat semua orang sejak awal waktu. Menurut perspektif Islam, pendidikan seks menekankan moralitas, etika, dan pengendalian diri, dengan tujuan untuk membangun kesadaran dan pengetahuan yang benar tentang kesehatan reproduksi, serta membentuk karakter anak yang sesuai dengan ajaran agama.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of dance in developing children's social skills at Anline Kindergarten. Social skills are an important component in early childhood development which includes the ability to interact, communicate, work together and manage emotions. The method used in this research was observation and interviews with teachers at Anline Kindergarten. The research results show that dance activities significantly help children improve verbal and non-verbal communication skills, build self-confidence, and facilitate positive social interactions among peers. In addition, dance also contributes to the development of empathy and appreciation for individual and cultural differences. The implementation of dance programs in kindergarten has proven effective in creating an inclusive learning environment and supporting children's holistic social development. This research suggests that dance activities should be made an integral part of the early childhood education curriculum to support the development of better social skills.

Abstract

Existential intelligence refers to an individual's ability to understand the meaning of life, explore existential goals, and build meaningful connections in everyday life. This research aims to examine the influence of role-playing activities on the development of existential intelligence in early childhood. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with participatory observation techniques and in-depth interviews with children involved in role-playing activities in early childhood education environments. Research shows that role-playing activities can significantly develop children's existential intelligence. This research shows an increased ability to interpret and deal with everyday life experiences through roles played. Children develop a deeper understanding of social relationships, values, and ways to overcome challenges in life. These findings show the importance of expanding the approach to early childhood education to include role-playing activities to facilitate the development of existential intelligence. The practical implication of this research is that educators and parents can consider integrating role-playing activities in the early childhood curriculum as a strategy to support children's holistic development and the role of parents and teachers in working together to increase children's existential intelligence.
