Abstract

Global climate change is one of the major challenges of the 21st century, mainly caused by global warming which is closely related to environmental degradation.  This study analyzes the implementation of green economy in developing countries during 2019-2024, focusing on trends, enablers, barriers, and contributions to SDGs. Government policies play a key role through renewable energy investment, green technology innovation, circular economy, and incentive regulation. Key barriers include limited funding, transition costs, infrastructure, and dependence on fossil fuels. A holistic approach is needed, including international collaboration, strengthening research, and adaptive policies for an inclusive transition. Green economy supports SDGs 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13, accelerating sustainable development. These results underscore the importance of strong policies to achieve social, economic, and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Community Service was carried out by a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Sharia and Economics, UIT Lirboyo Kediri, and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Malang, and students of the Sharia Banking Study Program, Faculty of Sharia and Economics, UIT Lirboyo Kediri, which was carried out in Joho Village, Semen District, Kediri Regency. Targeting UMKM actors. The main objective of this activity is to improve skills in the economic field, especially digital marketing and packaging of UMKM products. This mentoring activity was carried out through a workshop that was held for several days, targeting UMKM actors of approximately 24 participants. The workshop material consisted of literature about digital marketing, including marketing strategies that study how to promote products through digital media to reach consumers quickly, precisely, personally, and relevantly. Material on product packaging includes processes related to designing and manufacturing containers or wrappers to protect a product. The obstacles faced in this mentoring include the lack of education about digital marketing, product packaging, and internet networks, and they only rely on offline sales, so product sales are not yet widespread. It is expected that with this assistance, the ability of MSME actors in digital marketing and product packaging strategies will increase.

Abstract

One of the primary goals of teacher education programs is to produce qualified educators. As aspiring teachers, students must be capable of designing effective learning materials. These materials should be tailored to meet the specific needs of their students and align with the principles of the current curriculum. The Independent Curriculum has recently replaced the 2013 Curriculum. This study aimed to assess the extent of undergraduate student’s understanding of how to develop learning materials based on the Independent Curriculum. Employing a quantitative research design, data was collected through a brief quiz focused on Independent Curriculum-related topics. Participants were third-year students enrolled in the Economics Education program at Jenderal Soedirman University. The findings revealed that these undergraduate student as pre-service teachers faced several challenges in developing learning materials. Notably, they exhibited a limited understanding of key components within the Learning Goal Pathway, such as Learning Achievement and Learning Objectives. Furthermore, the students struggled to grasp the concept of the Pancasila Student Profile, a new feature of the Independent Curriculum. The students also perceived significant differences between the assessment methods used in the Merdeka Independent and those employed in the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

This study maps the global research landscape of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in higher education from 2015 to 2025 using bibliometric analysis of 318 articles from 198 journals indexed in Scopus. The findings indicate steady publication growth (1,06% annually), with Spain, Indonesia, and the United States as the leading contributors. Core journals include Sustainability, Education Sciences, and Frontiers in Education, reflecting strong connections between PjBL, sustainability, pedagogy, and digital innovation. Thematic analysis reveals PjBL is primarily implemented in social sciences, STEM, and engineering disciplines, while its application in entrepreneurship and the arts remains limited. Although the topic has reached bibliometric maturity, implementation challenges persist especially in developing countries due to infrastructural and pedagogical constraints.

Abstract

Background: Karang Taruna, as mandated by the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Regulation No. 25/2019, is a village-level youth organization for social empowerment. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an entrepreneurship training for Karang Taruna members in Sumberjo Hamlet, Wonogiri. Methods: A paired pretest–posttest design was applied to 20 participants. The intervention comprised socialization, business planning, basic bookkeeping, and digital marketing. Entrepreneurial knowledge was measured before and after the training and analyzed using a Paired t-test at α = 0.05. Results: The pretest mean was 77.35 (SD = 5.234) and the posttest mean was 84.35 (SD = 9.287); the mean difference (pre minus post) was −7.00 with t(19) = −3.335; p = 0.003; 95% CI [−11.393; −2.607]. The pre–post correlation was 0.263 (p = 0.263), indicating a weak association. These findings confirm a significant knowledge gain following the training. Conclusions: The entrepreneurship training effectively improved participants’ understanding and merits continuation through monthly business clinics and a supportive village-level ecosystem.
