Abstract

The colloid system is a chemical material that is studied in class XI SMA/ MA in even semester. This material is close to everyday life, especially the nature, example, and requires practicum. Therefore, one of the learning strategies that can be used is contextual. The aim of the research is to produce an integrated LKPD for contextual-based practicum with a REACT component and determine the validity and practicality categories of teaching materials. The type of research is research and development (R&D) with a 4-D model, namely define, design, and develop, while the dissaminate stage is not carried out. The research data were analyzed using the Aiken’s V formula. Based on the analysis of the validity test questionnaire by 3 lecturers and 2 chemistry teachers, it was found that the LKPD was valid (0,86). The results of the analysis of the practicality questionnaire given to 3 chemistry teachers had a very practical category (92,30%) and the results of the questionnaire analysis given to 36 students of class XI had a very practical category (84,40%). Abstract

The Amine is closely related to everyday life, especially the caracteristic and sampling. This subject is a part of the carbon compounds taught on the second semester of 3rd grade High School. But the implementation was transferred to first semester due to the student’s final exam, so the learning process was uneffective.Therefore it needs 2013’s curriculum compatible teaching materials as amine students woeksheet which help students study independently. The purposes of this research are to develop a Problem Based Learning Student Worksheet and determine its validity. The research implementation uses the R&D method. The development stage uses a 4D model consisting of define, design, develop and disseminate which is limited to development due to time and cost limitationsThe data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The research data by five expert validators were analysed using the Aiken’s V formula. Based on the a research data obtained the resulting a validity of 0,87 with a valid category.

Abstract

A. paniculata (Sambiloto) is a plant capable of producing various secondary metabolites which use in the field of pharmacology, one of which is as a source of antibacterial compounds. This potential can be explored from endophytic fungi associated with A. paniculata. The purpose was to determine the effectiveness of the antibacterial activity of the endophytic fungi RS-2 from branches of A. paniculata using red rice as the media. The stages of the research included isolation of the fungi, cultivation, extraction, antibacterial test, and test of the phytochemical of the endophytic fungi on branches of A. paniculata. The effectiveness test of antibacterial activity against the extract of the RS-2 endophytic fungi showed that the endophytic fungi extract had the potential to inhibit the growth of the three tested bacteria at concentrations of 10%, 30%, and 50%. The ethyl acetate extract of the endophytic fungi RS-2 from A. paniculata has the potential as a source of antibacterial compounds using red rice media.

Abstract

Alkanols and Alkoxy Alkanes are one of the material for carbon compounds studied in the even semester of grade XII SMA/MA. It studies the structures, nomenclatures, isomers, physical properties, chemical reactions, synthesis, uses, and the infrared spectrums. In the discussion, this material has interconnected orders. Problem-Based Learning Model is one of the learning models used to study this material. This research aims to develop a student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning on Alkanol and Alkoxy Alkane materials and to determine its validity category. This was a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D development model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was limited to the development stage. The research instrument was a validity questionnaire given to five expert validators. The validity data of the PBL-based student worksheet were analyzed by using the Aiken’s V formula scale. The analysis showed that the LKPD was very valid (0.86).

Abstract

The material for hydrocarbons is quite dense but the allocation of study time at school is limited so that learning becomes less than optimal. Teaching materials are needed that can help students learn in class and independent learning outside of school. Technological developments allow teaching materials to be developed in electronic format. This teaching material can be used anywhere and anytime which is accessed via a mobile phone. In general, students already use Android, but it has not been widely used in learning. The teaching materials used in MAN 2 Kerinci are not yet scientific. Research was carried out with the aim of developing interactive e-modules through an android application based on guided discovery learning on hydrocarbon material for class XI SMA/MA and determining its validity and practicality. The type of research used is educational design research with a plomp development model. The instruments used in this study were validation and practicality questionnaires. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Aiken's V formula and the practicality percentage formula. Based on the research data, the validation test shows that the e-module is valid (0.83). The practicality test shows that the value of practicality for teachers and students is very practical (91% and 83%) in small groups.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat validitas e-modul struktur atom-keunggulan nanoteknologi untuk peserta didik fase E SMA/MA. Jenis penelitiannya yang digunakan adalah Educational Design Research dengan model pengembangan Plomp. Subjek penelitian adalah dosen kimia UNP, guru kimia dan peserta didik fase E di SMAN 7 Padang. Validitas ditinjau dari validitas isi dan validitas konstruk yang meliputi kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikan dan pemograman. Data penelitian diperoleh dari analisis angket uji validitas oleh lima orang validator yang terdiri dari ahli materi dan ahli media. Data hasil validasi dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V. Hasil uji validitas e-modul struktur atom-keunggulan nanoteknologi yang diperoleh nilai indeks V validasi konten sebesar 0,84 dan validasi konstruk 0,8 dan validasi ahli media sebesar 0,8 dengan kategori valid. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa e-modul struktur atom-keunggulan nanoteknologi yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan valid.

Abstract

Benzene and its derivatives are aromatic compounds studied on the second semester of grade XII SMA/MA. Structure, nomenclature, physical properties, chemical reactions, uses and harmful and harmless benzene derivatives are the material studied on this topic. In the discussion of this material has interconnected regularities. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is one of the learning models used to study this material. Producing student worksheet-based PBL and determining the validity categories were the purposes of this study. 4-D models (define, design, develop, disseminate) were used in this study. This study is limited to the develop stage, namely the validity test. The product was validated by 3 chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP and 2 chemistery teachers at SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya. The instrument validity questionnaire was analyzed by using the Aiken V formula. The results of the analysis revealed that the developed LKPD was “very valid” resulting 0,85.

Abstract

Hydrocarbons are a fairly dense material, it is necessary to strengthen the concept of this material in the form of exercises. As a result of the distribution of the questionnaire, 98% of students participated in training in the form of a game. One game that can be used as practice is a crossword puzzle. This study aims to produce an online crossword game and determine its validity and level of practicality. The research method used is research of development with a plomp model. The research time was carried out from January 2021 to October 2022. The place where this research was carried out was the FMIPA UNP campus and schools. The results of the study found that the crossword game media obtained an Aiken V index value at construct validation of 0.87 and content validation of 0.91. Furthermore, the results of the small group practicality test showed that the resulting media received a percentage score of 83% teacher response and 86% student response. This study concludes that the online crossword game media developed is already valid and very practical.

Abstract

Petroleum material studied at class XI senior high school. This material is considered by the teacher to be studied independently by giving reading assignments and exercises. The teaching materials used are a summary of the material and don’t contain images, videos, audio, or questions, and aren’t scientifically derived. Needed are teaching materials per the curriculum and technological advances, which are one through e-modules. This study aimed to develop a petroleum e-module based on gdl for class xi high school and determine its validity and practicality. The research type is design research with plomp’s model. This method consists of three stages of preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. This study was limited to small groups at the prototype stage iii. The validity test was carried out by five validators. The practicality test was carried out by two chemistry teachers and twelve students. The data collection instruments were validity questionnaires and practicality questionnaires. The results of the validity questionnaire were analysed by the aiken’s v formula and the practical results using descriptive statistical formula. The results of the study show that the content validity of the e-module based on gdl- is valid (0.88), Then the construct validity was in the valid category (0.89). The practicality of teachers is in the practical category (79.86%), And students are in the very practical category (84.91%). Further research is needed, namely field tests to determine practicality and effectiveness on a broad scale.

Abstract

Chemical equilibrium is a lesson material for 2nd grade of senior high school in chemistry subject. The material is difficult for some students to understand because the characteristics of the material are abstract and count a lot. Independent learning is required to better understand this topic. Social media can be used as an innovative source of independent learning, one of which is instagram. The utilization of this platform can attract interest in learning because most students are instagram users. But there are no accounts that have been found that use it to share chemical equilibrium learning media. The research was carried out to develop chemical equilibrium learning media using instagram and uncover its validity and practicality. The type of research is educational design research with the plomp model which consists of three stages, namely: preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessment phase. The research is limited to prototype stage iii. The research subjects were unp chemistry lecturers, chemistry teachers, and students of sman 3 padang. Validation data processed using aiken’s v formula shows that the media is valid with a value of v = 0.9. Practicality tests on teachers and students in small groups stated that the resulting media was very practical.
