Abstract

Hör-Sehen is a strategy that combines what is heard and what is seen, or what is called an audio-visual technique, making it easier for students to understand the content of the text. This community service aims to prepare teachers through training on the use of the Hör-Sehen strategy for improving text comprehension skills for German language teachers. In addition, this training is very appropriate to be implemented as a strategy to be used by teachers not only in listening skills but as a combination of what is heard and what is seen. Thus, teachers can apply it to the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The PKM activities carried out by the team for German language teachers in Ambon City are expected to help teachers improve students' understanding of German texts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze the intrinsic elements of the poem Erlkönig by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. (2) describe the results of the analysis of the poem. (3) outline the theme of the poem. In this study, the author used qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. Researchers focus on the instrinsic elements that exist in this poem. This research method is divided into three stages, namely the data collection stage, the data analysis stage and the data presentation stage. The results of data analysis show that in this poem there are intrinsic elements of poetry including theme, character and characterization, setting, plot, language style and diction, atmosphere, and structure. The poem also contains a deep meaning, about “Erlkönig” can be seen as a manifestation of the disease suffered by a child and describes the struggle between life and death. Erlkönig can be considered a metaphor for the inevitability of death.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di wilayah terpencil, khususnya di Maluku, telah menunjukkan hasil positif dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka menawarkan fleksibilitas dalam pembelajaran, banyak guru, termasuk guru Bahasa Jerman, mengalami kesulitan dalam perencanaan pembelajaran dan asesmen. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang melibatkan pengembangan Modul Ajar dan penggunaan metode pembelajaran inovatif. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru, terutama guru Bahasa Jerman, dalam mendesain, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran mandiri sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang capaian pembelajaran, Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP), dan Tujuan Pembelajaran (TP) yang spesifik. Sebanyak 71,3% guru setuju untuk memperdalam pengetahuan terkait kurikulum, dan 49,3% siap menerapkan ilmu yang didapat. Siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan kesiapan menghadapi Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). Teknologi, seperti platform e-learning, berkontribusi pada efektivitas pendidikan. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kapasitas guru dan mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka secara efektif.
