Abstract

This study intends to conclude the level of financial literacy for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University in North Sumatra. This type of research is a description statistic. Data obtained by taking a survey of 87 respondents. The data analysis technique used is a survey. This research is quantitative research. The sample used in this study was 87 people. The sample selection method used is Judgement sampling. Judgement sampling is a sampling technique that is carried out based on the characteristics set against elements of the target population that are adapted to the research objectives or problems. The results of this study show that according to 5 aspects in financial literacy, there are several aspects that are structured as intermediate literacy, namely financial knowledge with a percentage of literacy of 63.4%, savings and loans with a percentage of literacy of 71.4% and insurance with a literacy rate of 75.2%. Meanwhile, another aspect that is a high instruction rate is investment with a percentage level of literacy of 84.4%.

Abstract

Tantangan yang dihadapi Bank Sumut Syariah semakin kompleks, karena tidak hanya berupaya menarik dana dari masyarakat Sumatera Utara yang beragama Islam namun juga bersaing dengan beberapa bank syariah yang terus melakukan ekspansi. Dana pihak ketiga dari produk tabungan di Bank Sumut Syariah lebih rendah dibanding dari produk Deposito dan Giro. Keputusan memilih produk tabungan Bank Sumut Syariah diduga dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada faktor atribut produk, promosi dan komitmen religius. Jika keputusan memilih produk tabungan meningkat hal ini mengindikasikan meningkatnya loyalitas nasabah.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh faktor atribut produk, promosi dan komitmen religious terhadap keputuasn memilih, serta bagaimana pengaruh keputusan memilih terhadap loyalitas nasabah. Teknik Sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dengan alat analisis data adalah Structural Equation Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Atribut Produk Tabungan terhadap Keputusan Memilih produk tabungan di Bank Sumut Syariah. Terdapat pengaruh Keputusan Memilih terhadap Loyalitas Nasabah. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Komitmen Religius terhadap Keputusan Memilih produk tabungan Bank Sumut Syariah. Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Promosi terhadap Keputusan Nasabah Memilih produk Tabungan Bank Sumut Syariah.

Abstract

Every Muslim-majority country, including Indonesia, has a growing Muslim population accompanied by rising Muslim incomes. As a result, the demand for halal goods has increased, both in Indonesia and in other countries where the majority are Muslim. Causal association strategy and quantitative approach were used in the research design. Causal relationship means a causal relationship. The quantitative approach is a research method that examines the relationship between variables using numerical data. Halal awareness is the ability to understand, feel, and be aware of events and objects or products that are categorized as halal. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive effect of halal awareness on consumer interest, with the obtained value of cr between the effect of halal awareness on consumer interest is 2.423 and p-value = 0.039. Because the value of cr is greater than 1.96 (2.423 > 1.96), and the p-value is less than (0.035 < 0.05). Halal awareness of the Mandailing Natal community is driven by the high religiosity of the community. There is a significant positive influence regarding the effect of halal awareness on consumer interest in the Mandailing Natal community. There is a significant positive effect on the influence of the subjective norm variable on consumer interest in the Mandailing Natal community.

Abstract

Bank Wakaf Mikro merupakan program pemerintah bekerja sama dengan OJK dengan tujuan menyediakan akses permodalan atau pembiayaan bagi masyarakat yang belum terhubung dengan lembaga keuangan formal khususnya dilingkungan pondok pesantren. Kehadiran Bank wakaf mikro diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat melalui pembiayaan yang diberikan. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran Bank wakaf mikro dalam meningkatkan ekonomi produktf masyarakat sekitar pesantren dan umkm , metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Jenis data pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang didapat melalui wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peran bank wakaf mikro adalah memberikan pembiayaan kepada masyarakat sekitar pesantren dengan segala kemudahan yaitu pembiayaan tanpa agunan, selain memberikan pembiayaan bank wakaf mikro juga memberikan pendampingan dengan prinsip syariah kepada masyarakat melalui HALMI (Halaqah Mingguan) halaqah mingguan merupakan kegiatan pendampingan bank wakaf mikro terhadap kegiatan perkembangan usaha nasabah dan pendampingan terhadap spiritual dan religiusitas nasabah.

Abstract

Corporate bankruptcy is a process carried out under bankruptcy law, when the company is unable to pay its obligations or reach an agreement with creditors. Creditors can file a lawsuit when the company meets the criteria for bankruptcy. The auditor's opinion consists of five kinds of opinions, namely unqualified (unqualified), unqualified with explanatory language (unqualified with explanatory language), qualified (reasonable), disclaimer (refusal to give an opinion), and adverse (unreasonable). In providing the five opinions above, the auditor must also consider the going concern aspect. Auditors in auditing financial statements are based on auditing standards set by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants which include (1) general standards, (2) fieldwork standards and (3) reporting standards.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of sharia maqashid on the use of QRIS in electronic transactions. Maqashid al-sharia consists of two, namely maqaṣid and sharia, maqashid means intentionality or purpose. The goal (maqashid) can be achieved in a taklif way, and its implementation depends on the ability to understand the main source of law, both the Quran and the hadith. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The method of collecting data in the study uses library research.  The types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The data analysis used is descriptive, using literature studies in the form of sharia maqashid books. The results showed that the use of QRIS for electronic transactions is very good and makes it easier for users and has fulfilled the five elements of maqashid sharia, namely maintaining religion, maintaining soul, maintaining reason, guarding offspring, and guarding property.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis maqashid syariah terhadap penggunaan QRIS dalam transaksi elektronik. Maqashid syariah terdiri dari dua yaitu maqaṣid dan syariah, maqashid berarti kesengajaan atau tujuan. Tujuan (maqashid) tersebut dapat dicapai dengan cara taklif, dan pelaksanannya tergantung kemampuan memahami sumber hukum utama, baik AlQuran maupun hadis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian menggunakan library research.  Jenis data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan studi literatur yang berupa buku-buku maqashid syariah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan QRIS untuk transaski elektronik sangat baik dan memudahkan penggunanya serta sudah memenuhi lima unsur maqashid syariah yaitu menjaga agama, menjaga jiwa, menjaga akal, menjaga keturunan dan menjaga harta.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of maqashid sharia, ecological piety, and Green marketing in the decision to implement Eco lifestyle. This study uses a quantitative approach and survey method with a population of followers of the @sustaination Instagram account who implements an Eco lifestyle. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling/judgment sampling with a target of 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression, partial test (T-test), simultaneous test (F test), and determination test (R2), which was processed with the help of SPSS 25. Partial test results (T-test) showed that the Maqashid sharia variable had no partial effect with a significance value of 0.112. Ecological piety has a partial effect with a significance value of 0.001. Green marketing has a partial effect with a significance value of 0.000. Based on the Simultaneous Test (F Test) Maqashid sharia, Ecological Piety, and Green marketing have a simultaneous effect on the decision to implement Eco lifestyle on followers of the @sustaination Instagram account. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Maqashid syariah, kesalehan ekologis, dan Green marketing dalam keputusan penerapan Eco lifestyle. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei dengan populasi pengikut akun instagram @sustaination yang menerapkan Eco lifestyle. Teknik Pengambilan Sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive sampling/judgment sampling. Dengan target responden sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda, uji parsial (uji T), Uji simultan (Uji F) dan uji determinasi (R2) yang diolah dengan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil Uji Parsial (Uji T) menunjukkan variabel Maqashid syariah tidak berpengaruh secara parsial dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,112. Kesalehan ekologis berpengaruh secara parsial dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001, Green marketing berpengaruh secara parsial dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Berdasarkan Uji Simultan (Uji F) Maqashid syariah, Kesalehan Ekologis, Dan Green marketing berpengaruh simultan terhadap Keputusan Penerapan Eco lifestyle Pada Pengikut Akun Instagram @sustaination.

Abstract

The long-term objective of the research is to design a recommended model for the Indonesian waqf Board in North Sumatra so that it can be applied to improve the national waqf index in North Sumatra. The success of this model can be measured by the achievement of the National Waqf Index value of North Sumatra Province. The specific target of this research is to improve the understanding of the national waqf index indicators of BWI and in North Sumatra, to identify obstacles, and to determine actions that must be taken. This research produces mandatory outputs of the Model recommended to BWI North Sumatra regarding the steps in filling out the National Waqf Index (IWN) and Simple Patents and Additional Outputs of Sinta Accredited Journals. This research uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews, where the research team will conduct interviews with BWI Representatives of North Sumatra Province, BWI representatives of districts and cities throughout North Sumatra, and waqf stakeholders and requires a cost of Rp. 10,500,000 (Ten Million Five Hundred Thousand Rupiah).

Abstract

Financial technology emerged as a result of the rapid development of the internet and information technology, which is increasingly sensitizing the public, often known as Financial Technology. Collaboration between FinTech and banking institutions will provide benefits for both parties. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of banking and FinTech cooperation, especially with regard to blockchain technology. This study uses a quantitative approach with comparative analysis to evaluate the variation in profitability levels determined by the Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), and Net Profit Margin (NIM) ratios between before and after implementing blockchain technology at Al Hilal Bank for the period 2012 to 2023. The paired sample t-test was used to assess the data, and the results showed that there was no significant difference between ROA, ROE, and NPM after using blockchain technology. The implications of this study indicate that banks still need to make improvements and adjustments in order to remain optimally profitable while keeping up with technological developments.

Abstract

The integration of Maqasid Sharia principles with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has significant strategic potential for promoting holistic sustainable development, particularly within the context of Islamic banking. Sharia banks operate not merely to achieve economic profitability but also prioritize social welfare and environmental protection, aligning closely with the universal objectives of the SDGs. The core values of Maqasid Sharia—protection of religion, life, reason, offspring, and property—complement several key SDGs, including poverty alleviation, education enhancement, health improvement, and economic equity. This study explores how Sharia banks, exemplified by institutions, utilize various Islamic financial instruments such as zakat, waqf, and sukuk waqf to address socio-economic challenges and support the halal industry, which emphasizes sustainable consumption and production. Despite these efforts, challenges persist, primarily related to low Sharia financial literacy, limiting community engagement with sustainability programs. Thus, increased financial literacy through ethical education aligned with Maqasid Sharia is recommended for optimizing the contribution of Sharia banks towards achieving comprehensive SDGs.
