Abstract

Theater Arts Center with Contemporary Architecture Approach is a venue that serve for activities related to the theater arts, including introduction activities, learning, training, gathering places, to the final process of the show. The world of art has always evolved as a reflection at that time in line with the development of contemporary architecture that is innovative both from the shape and appearance as the use of materials that will support the look of contemporary architectural styles. This design aims to support theater arts activities and interest of the younger generation to be more creative. The methods of research that is used, field data collection, literature study and empirical studies. The concept used is freedom of expression that is sad, happy, and angry that poured into the building. The results of this study design a superior building in the field of theater with the principle of application of Contemporary Architecture in terms of varied forms, neutral building colors, flexible materials use and create something innovative on buildings in according to the times. Abstract

Bicycle community facilities is a place for bicycle community located in city of Pekanbaru. The growth of the bicycle community in Pekanbaru is a form of passion arising from the user of the bicycle itself, such as the desire to strengthen friendship between bicycle enthusiasts, socialize, cultivate confidence Different in the environment and channeling the talent, cultivating a healthy lifestyle, and also to participate in events held by the Department of Pekanbaru. With so many communities and events for bicycle users, there is an idea to host bicycle users. The facilities are hosted by communal outdoor and Indoor areas, outdoor stage, BMX outdoor area, garden, bicycle retail, bicycle workshop, Mini Gallery, Minimarket, café and other functions related to bicycle users. The Study method used is an expressionist architecture approach, which is to apply the principles and design ideas. The concept applied is a transformation concept of bicycle movement called "Backlash" which is a manufer movement in cycling. With an expressive look of the movement of the bicycle is expected to be integrated between the architecture and the user, thus producing a new place for the bicycle user community in the city of Pekanbaru..Keywords : Expressionist architecture, community, bicycles, Pekanbaru

Abstract

Puberty is an important period in human life because puberty is a transition stage from children to adult. In this period, teenagers commonly experience several changes in their body, namely physical changes transforming into adult-like physic, attitude, feeling and emotional changes which are often not realized by the teenagers themselves such as embarrassment, happiness, jealousy, sadness, fear, anxiety, love and curiousity. Teenagers development had not been integrated with facilitated guidances. This can be proved by the fact that there is no media facilitating teenagers'activities in exercising their interests and talents to be more positive such as sports and arts. This is very important, because not only it educates and trains the teenagers but it is also fun. Therefore, "Graha Wisata Remaja" is built as a medium facilitating the teenagers to improve their interestsand talents. These teenagers' characters that are needed to develop are transition characters from children to adult. And this associates the metamorphosis process. Thus, Graha Wisata Remaja is designed by using metamorphosis concept. To reveal the nature of labil teenagers who are interested in new things put into visual quality and environment im Graha Wisata Remaja, the postmodern metaphor method is chosen. Metaphor is considered as a code. And this code is oncereceived by the observers from an object by depending on the other object and how to see a building as something else because its assemblence. Graha Wisata Remaja built in 2 ha. Abstract

Oral and dental health are not very much paid attention to as most people failed to realize the importance of them. Increasing need for dental health institutions can be regarded as an indicationof raise public awareness of dental and oral health conditions. Therefore, it needs qualified human resources in order to provide optimal the health services. Faculty of Dentistry of University of Riau which is offered is coresponding with aplication of Contextual Architecture approach, that is a building should have connection with surroundings and keep preserving the environmentcharacteristic. Through the Architecture theme, the concept of Harmony Collaboration is defined as a collaboration between dental functions and the principle of Harmonic Contextual. The concept is applied to site pattern, mass formation, and facade. The site designed pattern is based on teeth formation, the mass of building is based on the principle of the harmonious to the surrounding buildings. Abstract

Current development in the world of work is increasing causing humans to spend time to working. It is a lot happening in the big cities as well as in the cities is growing. Human activities that are constantly working unconsciously cause boredom and increase the levels of stress on themselves. Based on the balance between work and entertainment, we need a place to meet the needs of entertainment for the community. Therefore, Entertainment Center is one place solutions that can accommodate the needs of entertainment for the community. Entertainment Center is a building that is both attractive as well as recreational and commercial, a building that can accommodate a variety of entertainment facilities which have different properties and types. In designing Entertainment Center made the approach on modern architecture based on “less is more” and the concept of unification of the character and function of the building. This is related to the unification of various types of entertainment that are for individuals, groups or families that are adjusted to the nature of the area (public, semi-public, private) with the application of modern themes in interior and exterior, the building materials, circulation and spatial relations in building. Abstract

Pekanbaru was developing in tourism, especially in culinary and shopping souvenirs tourism. Development of culinary and shopping souvenirs in Pekanbaru growing rapidly and spread out at various corners of the city. Those things that be a reason why Pekanbaru needs a culinary and souvenirs center. Besides becoming a tourism facilities, culinary and souvenirs center expected be a education facilites for learning Malay Culture by applying one of the traditional architecture in Riau, it is Malay Architecture. One of history architecture heritage on Malay kingdom is Rokan IV Koto kingdom that located in Rokan Hulu which has different architectural form caused its geographical location. By using the architecture of Rokan IV Koto as an approach for the design, then was found a concept is “Culture Harmony”. This concept is a suitability that bind culture (culinary and souvenirs) becomes a unity by transforming Architecture of Rokan IV Koto. Culinary and Souvenirs Center is build on 3 ha area land, with area building 8019 m2. Architectural element in Architecture of Rokan IV Koto which includes region pattern and building form is transformed with dimensional transformation, addictive transformation, and subtractive transformation. The results of the transformation from the form of patterns and shapes are applied to the design of Culinary and Souvenirs Center that include zoning, mass order, outdoor planning, mass formation, indoor planning and structure.Keyword: Culinary and Souvenirs Center, Culture Harmony, Form Transformations, Architecture of Rokan IV Koto

Abstract

Art is an integral part of the human history that is inseparable from the development of human civilization. Performing art is the identity of a nation as one of the cultural wealth. Pekanbaru city with multiple layers of society, have a numerous arts and cultures need cultural spaces that are able to accomodate a wide range of performing arts. Siak River flows through and splitting the city, it have historical values and local wisdoms that can be utilized to create a cultural district on the river. Siak River as an icon of Pekanbaru in ancient times can regrow the cultural values that have started are lost among the public. The Siak Riverside can potentially be used as a cultural tourist destinations, it can take advantages of the natural resources that exist in the surroundings. Performing Art Training Facilities that have educative functions will be supported by aspects of the malay culture and local wisdom, these facilities will accomodate training and performing medium for artists and recreational for visitors. The design methods used include field data collection, studies and empirical studies library. The result of this design is the performing art facilities with the concept of a “Culture Wave” adopt shape and meaning implementation on the principle of the waterfront architecture. Wave visualization applied to the site design through a patterned waves canal-dividing the site into three parts, and the wave shape of the roof, while the image of the building adopt the typical of the malay culture and Pekanbaru local wisdom.Keywords: Performing art, Wave, Culture, Waterfront Architecture

Tembilahan is one of The districts located in Indragiri Hilir regency in Riau Province. The development of The culinary world in The affluent neighborhood Tembilahan city is growing rapidly. Can be seen from many places Tembilahan culinary region are not arranged placement. Tembilahan there are not yet facilities that facilitate activities of the culinary field. Businesses that can be done to meet needs of The community in the culinary world as a means of educational, informative, and this commercial need for a container that meets the needs of the community will have the culinary world in an area which facilitate the public to obtain information and recreation culinary. Tembilahan Culinary Area design, design approach adopted is tropical architecture. Abstract

Tanjungpinang Creative Hub is a central that can accommodate creative activities in the development of network, organization and business of creative industries. Tanjungpinang as the capital of Riau Islands Province is potentially to the development of creative economy due to the technological advancement in creative industry growth and tourism, both in the field of art products, culture and local wisdom. So many creative actors and micro enterprises emerge active in the creative industry sectors. Creative hub planning becomes the solution of the problem that serves as an educational, commercial and recreational facilities and there are supporting facilities for user activities. Tanjungpinang Creative Hub facilitates the development of seven creative industry subsectors namely performing arts, fashion, culinary, crafts, photography, animation and graphic design. This method uses expressionist architectural approaches to provide an expressive and imaginative image of the building when anyone sees it as well as being able to present building functions as a place of shaping creativity and enriching self-expression. Implementation of expressionist architecture by applying the characteristics and values to the design of the building through three elements namely façade, interior, floor plan and building mass. Abstract

Health development is one of the main factors to promote an area. If an area in the field of health is good, then the rate of progress and human resources will also improve. One factor that is still ahealth problem in Indonesia is still high mortality rate of mothers and children. This is due to the lack of public knowledge in the world of health, especially in terms of delivery was also afterpostpartum. To support the achievement of the Vision Riau Province in health in the form of "People Riau The Independent For Healthy Living In 2020.". So we need the construction ofMidwifery Academy of Rokan Hilir in order to help reduce maternal mortality and child in Indonesia, especially in the area of Rokan Hilir , Rokan Hilir Regency is a regency in Riau Province, Indonesia. The capital is located in Bagansiapiapi, historic city, and was once known asthe largest fish producer in Indonesia. The district has an area of 8,941 km² and a population of 349 771 inhabitants. Rokan Hilir is divided into 15 districts and 83 villages. Rokan Hilir Midwifery Academy is to apply the concept of building "Hierarchy second Mind" and use the theme Tropical Architecture. Using the theme of tropical architecture of the building is expected to be able to reduce the adverse effects of the hot climate of the area tropis.There is four application tropical architecture used include the distance between buildings, shading, vegetation and cross ventilation.
