Abstract

Cinema is one of alternatives for recreation, watching movies in cinema become a hobby and a lifestyle for some people. Therefore the necessity of cinema becomes important for citizen in Pekanbaru .The design of cinema in this paper is using “Asymmetrical Symmetry” concept, the display forms a balanced of asymmetries that transformed into the building. In term of cinema building design, post-modern architecture is seen as the most suitable and attractive for the building. In addition, not merely the appearance and the shaped, the cinema needs to pay attention on convenience of the users of the building. The final results of the application is implemented in the design of a cinema which includes zoning, mass form, outdoor layout, inner space, and the building's facade. In the mass formations, the concept transformed to building height difference and axis line which one divides the building mass. Abstract

Banyaknya masyarakat yang berminat terhadap mainan LEGO membuat mainan LEGO menjadi terkenal. mulai banyaknya event-event yang diselenggarakan di mall atau convention center terhadap mainan LEGO, memunculkan ide untuk merancang LEGO Center. ide ini muncul karena tidak adanya tempat yang mengkhususkan untuk kegiatan menggunakan mainan LEGO tersebut. tujuan perancangan bangunan LEGO Center ini adalah sebagai tempat pameran, dan sebagai tempat rekreasi yang bersifat edukasi dengan menggunakan LEGO. Menggunakan tema arsitektur kubisme, yang dimana pemikirian ini timbul dari sudut pandang LEGO yang memiliki tiga dimensi panjang, lebar dan tinggi. Konsep pada rancangan LEGO Center di Kota Pekanbaru ini menggunakan konsep “Tumpukan LEGO Bricks” yang dihasilkan dari keterkaitan objek rancangan dan tema Arsitektur Kubisme terhadap objek rancangan yang memiliki penyederhanaan bentuk-bentuk kotak atau kubus sesuai dengan sifat Kubisme.

Abstract

Fashion is a lifestyle that is in high demand by today's society. The development of fashion becomes important in various circles both young and old. The development of the world of fashion must be supported by quality human resources in the field of fashion. The designers have a problem in terms of introducing their designs to the public because of the lack of facilities and the provision of space or containers for fashion design enthusiasts in Pekanbaru, it will be designed a forum for fashion design enthusiasts to learn and promote the design results to the public. This building was designed using contemporary architectural themes that are applied into buildings. Abstract

Swimming training center is a place related with water sports activities such as competitions and training for athletes and beginner swimmers. The number of people who are interested in swimming is various from children to adults who can get a very positive effect because water sports will provide bodily health and also will be able to increase the number of swimming athletes for a competition in each area, but a complete swimming pool facilities are not yet available in Bintan. Designing a swimming training center that aims to increase the enthusiasm of learning and swimming training for the people in Bintan, both athletes and beginner swimmers. Swimming Training Center Facilities uses the Expressionist Architecture approach that aimed at people who see the building can recognize the function of the building. In the application of this design concept is the inequality that can be seen from four different swimming style techniques, namely breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke and butterfly style. The breaststroke technique is applied on the support buildings, while the freestyle and the backstroke are applied to the main building, and the butterfly style technique is applied to the roof of the main building. . The aim of this concept is to build the enthusiasm of athletes to be more motivated so they can also give more enthusiasm in any competition.Keywords: Swimming Training, Expressionist Architecture, Bintan

Abstract

Insit Fishermen Area is a fisherman settlement area that is less organized and has no tourist attraction. Whereas Insit Fishermen Area is an entrance gate to Meranti island through Ro-Roport. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange the area of fishermen by adding more facilities and infrastructure, not only to support the activities of fishermen but also for tourist attraction. This arrangement also looks for the feasibility standard of facilities, infrastructure, and the dominantaspects of waterfront architecture and its elements. The design method used is the results of the survey, documentation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. The results of thisarrangement applying the concept of “Insit With The Flow”. The arrangement of the area follows the flow of the Insit tributary, which is the result of the applying elements of the concept and waterfront architecture theme. This arrangement utilizes the river as a circulation in and out of fishing boats, and on the riverside, there is a Promenade/Esplanade, seats, and parks. Abstract

Siak Regency is located in Riau Province and is included in the Riau tourism development area and seeks to develop tourism by increasing events and tourist attractions that can be visited by the publicor tourists. Tourists are always closely related to culinary to taste food and drinks typical of tourist destinations. Currently, culinary places in Siak have not been realized properly because they do notmeet architectural standards. In addition Siak tourism also presents cultural and historical tourism experiences in the form of Malay Siak houses and efforts are needed to introduce them to tourists. Soit takes a container and renewal in the form of a culinary tourism center design in Siak with the theme of neo vernacular architecture. The research methods used include field data collection, literaturestudies and empirical studies. The results of this study are in the form of a culinary tourism center design by applying the concept of court based on the functions and themes of the building. Theconcept of building applied to the building is the way the building's mass order and the oblique shape on the outside of the building's side, while the application of the theme is taken the most prominentcharacteristic part of the Siak Malay house. The elements applied are the form of a pyramid roof that extends to the back, utilizing openings as natural lighting and ventilation, using the platform as anentrance. stage form, and ornament.Keywords: culinary tourism center, architecture, neo vernacular
