Abstract

Abstract

Background: Motivation and skill development are vital in physical education, particularly football. Tactical learning emphasizes decision-making and game understanding, while technical learning focuses on mastering fundamental skills. Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the impact of a TPACK-based tactical and technical learning approach on student motivation and football skill acquisition among high school students in Tasikmalaya. Methods: The study applied the TPACK framework—integrating Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge—in designing the learning model. Using an experimental method with a pre-test–post-test design, 30 students were divided into two groups. Motivation was assessed via a Likert-scale questionnaire, while football skills (passing, heading, dribbling, shooting, and playing ability) were evaluated through standardized tests. Data were analyzed using paired and independent t-tests with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: The technical approach significantly enhanced basic football skills, notably heading (t = 8.47) and shooting (t = 8.29), proving its effectiveness in improving fundamental competencies. Conversely, the tactical approach showed a notable increase in student motivation (t = 4.98) and playing ability (t = 5.94), reflecting its strength in fostering strategic understanding and engagement. TPACK integration further reinforced both approaches through effective use of technology. Conclusions: The study highlights the importance of combining tactical and technical approaches to promote holistic student development. Continued research is needed to explore the long-term effects and potential of integrating diverse technological tools in physical education.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) model, implemented through Kasti Ball, in fostering responsibility among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Jembangan 2. Using a quasi-experimental design, 30 students were purposively selected and divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received four TPSR-integrated kasti ball sessions, while the control group underwent conventional physical education. Responsibility was measured using a validated 20-item Likert-scale questionnaire aligned with Hellison’s five-level responsibility framework. Statistical analysis using paired and independent t-tests showed a significant increase in the experimental group’s responsibility scores (M_pre = 56.20, M_post = 61.80; p < .05), while the control group’s change was not statistically significant (M_pre = 55.47, M_post = 57.80; p = .196). A post-test comparison revealed a significant between-group difference favoring the experimental group (p = .023). Observational data further supported the quantitative findings, showing improved student self-regulation, cooperation, and rule adherence. The study concludes that the TPSR model, when integrated into traditional games like kasti, can effectively promote character development—particularly responsibility—among elementary school students. Teachers and schools are encouraged to adopt culturally relevant, value-based physical education models to reinforce character education holistically.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the teaching and learning process of PJOK subjects that implement the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The population in the study was 82 students. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, the number was 64 students. The results showed that the 2013 Curriculum provides a more systematic and directed learning structure, which has a positive impact on students' active involvement and motivation. On the other hand, Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility for teachers and students to explore learning according to local interests and contexts, but its implementation still faces challenges, such as teacher and student readiness, and understanding of formative assessment. The 2013 curriculum obtained a higher % “strongly agree”. Students' active engagement was generally higher in Curriculum 2013, with 86% of students expressing “agree” or “strongly agree” to various statements regarding their engagement in learning. Meanwhile, in the Merdeka Curriculum, the percentage decreased to 75%. The conclusion shows that Curriculum 2013 is more effective in increasing PJOK students' engagement and motivation due to structured and directed learning. Meanwhile, the Merdeka Curriculum offers greater flexibility and opportunities for exploration, but its implementation still faces challenges.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the tactical approach and the difference between tactical approaches and conventional approaches to learning outcomes during futsal playing activities in SMA N 12 BANDAR LAMPUNG. The study was conducted with the design of pretest and posttest control group design. The study sample was high school students in SMA N 12 BANDAR LAMPUNG who participated in extracurricular activities totaling 20 people. The instrument used is GPAI (Games Performance Assessment Instrument) based on the research results obtained (1) the results of the paired Sample Test obtained significantly at 0.000 <0.05 there is an effect, it can be concluded that the tactical approach has a significant effect on learning outcomes when playing futsal on students of SMA N 12 BANDAR LAMPUNG (2) the results of the paired Sample Test obtained significantly at 0.000 <0.05 there is an influence, it can be concluded that the conventional approach has a significant effect on learning outcomes when playing futsal in high school students SMA N 12 BANDAR LAMPUNG (3) Then second the approach compared with independent sample t test the score gain score is a tactical approach of 41.65 and the conventional approach is 20.95. And the difference is that the tactical approach has a significant effect compared to the conventional approach. Keywords: Tactical approach, conventional, learning outcomes.
