Abstract

The qur 'an and the hadith as the basis of islamic teaching, not only set the affairs of the urighteous alone, but also contain passages relating to science and technology (iptek). Many verses both the qur 'an and the hadith signal about science such as biology, history, astronomy, and much more. Science is one of the main content of the holy scriptures of the qur 'an. Even the word 'ilm itself is called in the qur 'an 105 times, but in the sense that it has been called over 744 times that is indeed one of the needs of Islam. This word science is used in the sense of the process of attainment of knowledge. Intact study requires the use of scientific, philosophical, humanities, historically, sociological, and doctrinal methods. Learning the qur 'an in order to discover values that are able to bend lil alaamin requires a highly intelligent role but must be remembered that human intelligence contains limitations. Therefore, to feel the content of the qur 'an intact and thoroughly requires theological, philosophical, scientific, and sensory thinking. This requirement was necessary because not all problems were solved or resolved merely by philosophical thought but required other methods that could be used together.

Abstract

This article examines the role of education financing in the development of infrastructure and learning facilities at MTs Hidayatul Falah in Nagrak District, Sukabumi. Using a case study approach with a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The findings highlight that education financing, particularly through the BOS (School Operational Assistance) funds, community contributions, and alumni donations, significantly contributes to the construction of classrooms, computer labs, libraries, and other essential facilities. However, the study also identifies major challenges, including funding limitations, low community participation, and administrative constraints. Efficient and transparent financial management, along with collaboration among stakeholders, can optimize education financing to enhance the quality of educational infrastructure. This research offers practical insights for private educational institutions in rural areas to develop sustainable and accountable financing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of university leadership, organizational culture, and lecturer job satisfaction on work discipline. The research method uses a quantitative survey approach. The population of this study is lecturers of Private Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIS) in the West Java, and 107 lecturers were taken as a sample using random sampling techniques. The data collection technique is carried out by means of a questionnaire through google form media. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 20 for Windows and Lisrel 8.8 software. The results of the SEM analysis prove that there is a positive and significant direct influence of university leadership on lecturer work discipline, lecturer job satisfaction on lecturer work discipline. However, there is no positive and significant influence of organizational culture on work discipline. This study recommends that universities optimize their leadership roles to improve lecturers' work discipline, considering the positive and significant influences found. In addition, it is necessary to develop strategies to strengthen lecturers' job satisfaction, because job satisfaction has also been proven to have a significant influence on discipline. On the contrary, since organizational culture does not have a significant influence, further evaluation of the elements of the organizational culture is required, to determine whether certain aspects of that culture need to be adapted or integrated with other approaches that are more effective in supporting the work discipline of lecturers

Abstract

Internal recruitment based on local wisdom with a sociocultural approach is a strategic approach to improve the quality of educators and education at SMK Ma'arif NU Pangandaran. This article aims to identify and develop internal recruitment methods that integrate the values of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah (Aswaja) and local wisdom in the process of selection, promotion, and development of the workforce. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study at SMK Ma'arif NU Pangandaran with in-depth interviews with policy makers, observation of the recruitment process, and analysis of institutional documents. The results of the study show that the internal recruitment method based on local wisdom not only strengthens the identity of the institution as part of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) but also increases the loyalty, dedication, and quality of educators. This recruitment involves values such as tawasuth (moderate), tasamuh (tolerant), tawazun (balanced), as well as the active participation of the NU community in the selection and coaching process. Positive impacts include increasing the harmonization of relationships between schools and the community, preserving NU traditions, and improving the quality of education based on local character

Abstract

Effective Islamic education management necessitates a robust theological foundation to ensure that institutional practices remain aligned with the core principles of Islam. A comprehensive theological understanding not only guides the formulation of educational policies and strategic directions but also shapes the underlying values, ethics, and objectives of Islamic education. Employing a conceptual framework and literature review methodology, this study critically examines Islamic theological sources, scholarly documents, and prior empirical research related to educational management. The analysis highlights that the principles of tauhid (divine unity), akhlaq (ethical conduct), and sharia (Islamic law) constitute the fundamental pillars of management within Islamic educational institutions. These theological tenets influence key managerial functions, including curriculum development, character formation, human resource management, and administrative governance. Integrating these values into management practices not only ensures coherence with Islamic teachings but also enhances educational quality, teacher professionalism, and stakeholder trust. The study underscores the imperative of embedding theological values as a strategic framework for achieving holistic and sustainable Islamic education.
