Abstract

The aim of this research was to study the effect of incubation time on onggok fermentation with enrichment N, S, P by Trichoderma reesei on nutrient value. The materials of this research were onggok, T. Reesei and N, S, P element. This research used completely randomized design with 4 treatments different incubation time with 5 replication; T0: 0 day, T1: 2 days, T2: 4 days and T3: 6 days. The parameters observed were crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, and nitrogen free extract of fermented onggok. Data analysis was used by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and continued by Duncan’s Multiple Range test if they were significantly different. Results of this research showed that there were haven’t effect (P>0.05) of the treatment on nutrient value. The conclusion of this research was incubation time on onggok fermentation with enrichment N, S, P by Trichoderma reesei have not been able to decrease crude fiber.Keywords : Onggok, fermentation, T.reesei

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan Neutral Detergeni Fibre (NDF), Acid Detergent Fibre (ADF), hemiselulosa, selulosa dan lignin onggok yang difermentasi Trichoderma ressei dengan suplementasi N, S, P. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari T0 (onggok + NSP + T. reesei 1,5% 0 day incubation), T1 (onggok + NSP + T. reesei 1,5% 2 days incubation), T2 (onggok + NSP + T. reesei 1,5% 4 days incubation), T3 (onggok + NSP + T. reesei 1,5% 6 days incubation). Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis of variance (ANOVA), apabila terdapat pernedaan nyata maka dilanjutkan menggunakan uji Duncan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu kandungan NDF, ADF, hemiselulosa, selulosa dan lignin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fermentasi onggok menggunakan Trichoderma reesei dengan suplementasi N, S, P berpengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan NDF, selulosa dan lignin (P<0,05) namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap kandungan ADF dan hemiselulosa (P>0,05). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kecernaan dan fermentabilitas ruminal in vitro onggok yang difermentasi Trichoderma reesei (T. reesei) dengan suplementasi N, S dan P. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah onggok yang telah disuplementasi N, S dan P dengan rasio 13:1:1 serta starter T. reesei sebanyak 1,5% dari BK substrat. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan berupa T0 (lama fermentasi 0 hari), T1 (lama fermentasi 2 hari), T2 (lama fermentasi 4 hari) dan T3 (lama fermentasi 6 hari). Parameter yang diamati meliputi kecernaan bahan kering (KcBK), kecernaan bahan organik (KcBO), konsentrasi volatile fatty acids (VFA) dan amonia (NH3). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam taraf 5%, apabila ada pengaruh yang nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan’s multiple range test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama fermentasi dapat meningkatkan (P<0,05) KcBK, KcBO dan konsentrasi VFA, akan tetapi menurunkan (P<0,05) konsentrasi NH3 onggok. Simpulan yang diperoleh yaitu lama fermentasi dapat meningkatkan kecernaan dan konsentrasi VFA akan tetapi menurunkan konsentrasi NH3 onggok.Kata kunci: lama fermentasi, suplementasi mineral, onggok, in vitro

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the combination effect of fermentation time by Trichoderma reesei and ammoniation on fiber component of sugar palm pulp. The research used sugar palm pulp from Boyolali which was sun-dried. Sugar palm pulp fermentation with Trichoderma reesei requires nitrogen for microbial growth. Ammoniation process could loose lignocellulosic bonds and provides the nitrogen supply for Trichoderma reesei, therefore these treatments could optimize Trichoderma reesei in the fermentation process. Samples were fermented for 0, 3 and 6 days with 1,5% Trichoderma reesei. The research treatments were allocated according to a completely randomize design with  pattern of 2x3 factorial. First factor was ammoniation treatment and second factor was variation of fermentation time. The parameters observedd were NDF, ADF, hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin. Research result showed that there is was no interactive effect between treatments on reducing levels of NDF and ADF, but interaction treatments decreased (P<0.05) levels of, cellulose and lignin. In conclusion, the interactive effet between fermentation time with Trichoderma reesei and ammoniation reduce levels of hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin in sugar palm pulp.

Abstract

(Biological test feed intake, population rumen bacteria and ph pellet complete calf starter friesian holstein on pre weaning calf)ABSTRACT. The study aims to assess the quality of the formula Complete Calf Starter (CCS) with 5% molasses instead of milk to the development of rumen microbial calf Holstein Friesian (HF) pre-weaning. The material used is 20 head calf FH pre weaning age of 2 weeks. Feed intake data taken from 20 respondents consisted of 16 females and 4 calf tail male calf. Data rumen bacterial populations and pH were taken from 5 head of cattle slaughtered at the age of 2 weeks (one tail), 4 weeks (2-tailed) and 6 weeks (2-tailed). The study was designed as a descriptive non-parametric. Parameters measured were rumen bacterial populations, pH and feed intake. The results showed the average consumption of dry matter (DM) and CCS calf milk FH ages 2, 4, 6 weeks respectively at 506, 517, 528 grams. Rumen bacterial populations in calves aged 2, 4, and 6 weeks of 80x106, 45x106 and 19x106 kol/m. ruminal pH in calves aged 2, 4 and 6 weeks was 5.71, 5.36 and 5.55. Biological test showed that the use of complete calf starter (CCS) in the form of pellets FH calves at the age of 2 weeks to stimulate the development of the rumen (feed intake, the population of bacteria and pH) but not in calves aged 4 and 6 weeks. This is because the number of bacterial populations declined due to impaired absorption is impaired absorption of VFA marked low rumen pH.

Abstract

Keterbatasan dan ketersediaan pakan menjadi faktor penghambat dalam proses pemeliharaan ternak kambing perah. Pemanfaatan daun kayu jawa (Lannea coromendelica) menjadi  pakan alternatif jika dilihat dari kandungan nutriennya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi tepung daun kayu jawa (Lannea coromandelica) terhadap tingkah laku makan kambing perah. Substitusi pakan konvensional dengan daun kayu jawa dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitasnya dalam mendukung perilaku makan, ruminasi, dan istirahat ternak. Penelitian dilaksanakan di CV. Zafira Goat Farm, Jeneponto, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan empat perlakuan (P₀ = 0% daun kayu jawa, P₁ = 20%, P₂ = 40%, P₃ = 60%) dan lima ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi durasi makan, ruminasi, dan istirahat, dicatat se’tiap 15 menit dari pukul 08.00–16.00 WITA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa substitusi tepung daun kayu jawa tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P>0,05) terhadap tingkah laku makan, ruminasi, maupun istirahat kambing perah. Meskipun demikian, pada beberapa jam tertentu terjadi perbedaan aktivitas yang mencerminkan adaptasi ternak terhadap komposisi pakan yang berbeda. Daun kayu jawa tetap menunjukkan potensi sebagai sumber pakan alternatif karena mengandung protein kasar dan serat yang mendukung kebutuhan fisiologis kambing perah tanpa mengganggu perilaku alaminya.
