Abstract

The phenomenon of underage marriage is often found in Indonesian society and raises serious problems, Indonesia is ranked second in Southeast Asia. In mid-2019 the BKKBN also released that as many as 375 teenagers in Indonesia were married underage, therefore the importance of the role of KUA in addressing this problem. Method: This type of research uses descriptive qualitative with an empirical approach. The research was conducted in November 2022 at the KUA Medan Polonia. The data used used primary data collected through interviews and observation as well as secondary data. Data management and analysis techniques were carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Results: The implementation of marriages that have so far occurred at the Medan Polonia KUA, if a partner is found who is underage, it is mandatory to attach a letter of dispensation obtained through the religious court. Conclusion: Responding to the problem of underage marriages KUA Medan Polonia made several efforts to overcome this problem starting from checking files, optimizing the role of BP4, as well as conducting counseling and socialization of the Marriage Constitution.

Abstract

The lack of implementation of hadith values in shaping the leadership character of santri is a challenge for educators in Islamic educational institutions, because sources of value other than the Qur'an or hadith, certainly cannot be ensured to form Islamic character. In this regard, Dayah integrated Al-Muslimun Lhoksukon North Aceh implements character building through the values contained in the hadith. The method used in this research is qualitative based on narrative studies, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results revealed that the value of leadership character contained in the hadith is related to the value of justice, trustworthiness, and commitment which are characters that must exist in a leader. The implementation of character building is done through active learning, extra-curricular activities, problem-based learning. Determination is not only in terms of intellectual intelligence, but also spiritual and emotional. This research shows that the internalization of hadith values strengthens the leadership character of students, so Islamic educational institutions need to adopt this method to produce leaders with good character.

Abstract

Divorce in the modern era shows a worrying upward trend, marked by the weakening of the family institution due to a crisis of communication, individualism, and minimal understanding of religion. The Hadith, as one of the main sources of Islamic teachings, contains many social principles that have great potential in maintaining the integrity of the household. Revitalizing the social function of hadith is crucial to make it a preventive instrument in preventing divorce. This study aims to re-examine the role of hadith as a source of social values in building family resilience amidst the challenges of modernity. The method used is a qualitative study based on a thematic approach. The results of the study show that the hadiths of the Prophet not only present normative solutions but also contain social values such as deliberation, patience, empathy, and forgiveness that are highly relevant to the dynamics of contemporary households. In addition, hadith also functions as an ethical guideline that can direct married couples to harmonious communication patterns, fair social roles, and a spiritual understanding of the meaning of marriage. In conclusion, revitalizing hadith as a social instrument not only revives the teachings of the Prophet but also builds household resilience based on prophetic values that are applicable in the modern era.
