Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the mosque functions as a facility in Islamic religious education which is located at the MAS Nahdhatul Islam Mancang School, Finish District, Langkat Regency. The focus of this research is how school management functions in the functioning of school mosques for the development of Islamic religious education, whether school management has provided implementation capable of developing mosques as a means for the development of Islamic religious education. In its implementation, researchers used descriptive analysis. The samples used were the principal of the Mas Nahdhatul Islam Mancang school, teachers and students of class VII MAS Nahdhatul Islam Mancang. Data collection was carried out by researchers in the form of observations, interviews, documentation taken when students were studying Islamic religion in the mosque and doing triangulation to find the validity of the data obtained. The results of the study show that the role and management carried out by teachers and schools in the functioning of mosques as the development of Islamic religious education is developing by filling in various additional activities such as learning tausyiah, memorizing the Koran, and tahsin training. With the efforts of school management and teachers' efforts to function mosques as the development of Islamic religious education, it can have a big impact on students at the school and especially in class VII aliyah. Apart from learning, the character of students is also formed to be more religious, more moral.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pembinaan terhadap moralitas remaja menjadi tanggungjawab bagi seorang pendidik dan orang tua. Dengan tanggungjawab yang dilakukan akan mewujudkan generasi penurus bangsa yang beriman dan berpendidikan. Maka kami dari tim PKPM UMSU saat ini mitra kerjasama dengan ranting Muhammadiyah di Desa Sukasari agar Ranting Muhammadiyah tersebut semakin maju dan berkembang. Tujuan dalam pembinaan ini yaitu bagaimana moral remaja bisa sesuai dengan ajaran Islam dan terhindar dari pergaulan bebas. Karena kita melihat saat ini banyak sekali remaja yang sudah jauh dari ajaran Islam sehingga moralnya tidak sesuai dengan perbuatan baik dan akhirnya masa depan remaja tidak bisa terwujudkan. Hasil dalam kegiatan PKPM ini yang berjudul pembinaan moralitas Remaja di Cabang Muhammadiyah Desa Sukasari Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai adalah 1: Moralitas remaja di Ranting Muhammadiyah Desa Sukasari sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. 2: Remaja di Ranting Muhamamdiyah Desa Sukasari mampu menjauhi pergaulan bebas dan tetap menjalankan kegiatan Islami dengan baik. 3: Remaja mempunyai peran yang penting untuk kemajuan pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Moral development is the first focus of attention in Islam. This is in accordance with one of the missions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. to perfect noble morals. That basically humans are born in a state of fitrah which in this case includes moral fitrah, which is then perfected through the apostolic mission of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. in the form of teachings brought by the Apostle.Coaching is an educational effort both formal and non-formal which is carried out consciously, planned, directed, organized and responsible in order to introduce, grow, develop a balanced, intact and harmonious personality base. Knowledge and skills in accordance with their own talents, desires and initiatives, add, improve and develop towards the achievement of dignity, quality and optimal human abilities and independent individuals.This research is a qualitative research by taking several activities ranging from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that first, moral guidance for adolescents is very important to be applied by all educators. Second, the supporting factor is good cooperation between educators and parents. While the inhibiting factor is the association of teenagers with the outside environment which sometimes brings negative directions.

Abstract

This research examines the strategic role of Islamic educational institutions in campaigning for religious moderation on social media to reduce religious fanaticism and intolerance in the digital age. This research uses a qualitative approach to analyse data from literature and content on social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. The main focus of the study is the dynamics of discussions related to religious issues, including differences in determining the beginning of Ramadan, which often trigger conflicts between groups. Data were analysed thematically to describe narrative patterns, interactions, and potential conflicts and evaluate the role of Islamic education institutions in promoting social harmony through religious moderation. The results showed that social media became a conflict arena dominated by verbal attacks and intolerant behaviour, exacerbated by the lack of social media ethics. In this context, pesantren and madrasah have a key role as agents of social change through formal education and digital campaigns. This research confirms that integrating technology-based education, such as digital literacy training and the production of educational content based on religious moderation, can help create more inclusive and tolerant discussion spaces. Cooperation between academic institutions, government and society is also needed to expand the reach of religious moderation campaigns and minimise social polarisation. This research makes a theoretical contribution by strengthening the literature on the role of education in shaping a tolerant digital ecosystem while offering a practical approach for educational institutions in facing digital challenges. As a recommendation, the values of religious moderation need to be used as a foundation in Islamic education to create sustainable social harmony, both in the real world and in the digital world. The findings open up opportunities for further research to develop innovative strategies to strengthen religious moderation in the digital era.

Abstract

Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan, as one of the characteristics of PTM (Muhammadiyah Higher Education), is the implementation of Islamic religious education in schools, not only developed in science but also in the formation of personality, which is developed through material from the Qur'an, creeds, morals, worship, muamalah, and muhammadiyahan. Attitudes towards AIK learning influence AIK learning achievement. This research aims to develop an attitude scale towards AIK learning. This research was carried out in 4 stages: preparation, item writing, tryout, and psychometric test. Attitude towards AIK learning is conceptualized as a pattern of behavior, anticipatory tendencies or readiness, predisposition to adapt to social situations or attitudes, and response to conditioned social stimuli consisting of cognitive, affective, and conative aspects. The initial scale of 112 items was given to 30 students at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra. The final results show that this scale has a good consistency (Excellent), with a value of α = 0.938.

Abstract

Dalam aktivitas komunikasi politik di peroleh yaitu aktor, proses dan saluran komunikasi, maka jika dikaitkan dengan pendapat Laswell di atas, judul tersebut terkait dengan Who dan in which channel yang kemudian di dalamnya ada proses. Ketiga unsur komunikasi ini (aktor, proses dan saluran) merupakan unsur yang sangat urgen atau penting dalam kegiatan atau aktivitas politik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu melihat perkembangan perpolitikan khususunya di Indonesia mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat. Seiring berkembang dan semakin maju nya teknologi informasi yang kemudian dijadikan sebagai saluran dalam politik maka penggunaan saluran informasi secara digital juga semakin massif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian lapangan (field research). Peneliti mendapatkan data dengan turun langsung ke lapangan untuk melakukan observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan actor, proses dan saluran politik. Oleh sebab itu menjadi sesuatu yang harus diperhatikan serius agar komunikasi politik bisa berjalan sesuai dengan keinginan alias efektif. Dengan demikian di bagian selanjutnya penulis menyajikan tentang ketiga unsur tersebut dengan sistematika penyajian dengan terlebih dahulu menyajikan aktor komunikasi politik, proses komunikasi Politik, dan saluran komunikasi Politik.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of Usability Perception, Ease of Use, Attitude, and Behavioral Intention on Technology-Based AIK Learning in Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. Technology is currently an indicator of the development of science. Currently, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara continues to try to develop technology-based learning media towards a world-class university. However, many students are still not maximized with running the technology prepared for teaching, especially in AIK courses. This study uses a quantitative approach, hypothesis testing, and the inner model obtained from data processing using SMART PLS.  The conclusion are this study the t-statistic value for variable X1 (perceived usefulness) indicates that perceived convenience does not affect technology-based AIK learning, and the t-statistic value for variable X2 (Ease of Use) indicates that ease of use does not affect technology-based AIK learning. So, the t-statistic value for variable X3 (Attitude) indicates that attitude affects technology-based AIK learning. The t-statistic value for variable X4 (Behavioral Intention) indicates that Behavioral Intention affects technology-based AIK learning. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) explains how users accept and adopt technology based on two main factors: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. In the context of AIK learning at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), TAM plays a crucial role in shaping the effectiveness and efficiency of technology-based learning.

Abstract

Abstrak Debat merupakan pertukaran pendapat mengenai suatu topik dengan memberikan dalil atau alasan untuk memperkuat setiap pendapat. Tujuan utama debat adalah menyampaikan dan mempertahankan argumen secara efektif. Argumen menjadi kuat ketika didukung fakta, bukti, dan penalaran logis serta disampaikan dengan integritas moral. Oleh karena itu, debat bukan sekadar penyampaian ide, melainkan mengandung muatan moral yang tidak terpisahkan dari ide tersebut. Interaksi antara kecerdasan dan moralitas dalam penyampaian argumen sangat penting, karena kecerdasan menghasilkan argumen berbasis bukti yang kuat, sedangkan moralitas menjamin penyampaian yang etis dan penuh penghormatan terhadap lawan debat. Dalam Islam, debat telah ada sejak zaman para nabi. Al-Qur’an memberikan pedoman penerapan kecerdasan dan moralitas dalam debat para nabi. Analisis ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an mengungkap enam regulasi komunikasi debat, yaitu: (1) berdebat dengan bijak, (2) menjaga kebenaran, (3) menyampaikan kebenaran Islam saat berdebat dengan Ahli Kitab atau berbeda keyakinan, (4) menghindari fitnah dan kerusakan, (5) menghindari debat yang tidak produktif, dan (6) menghindari debat yang memecah belah. Kata Kunci: Debat, Regulasi Komunikasi, Etika Al-Qur’an, Perspektif Islam, Argumentasi Moral Abstract Debate is an exchange of opinions on a specific topic by presenting reasons or arguments to support each perspective. The primary purpose of debate is to convey and defend arguments effectively. Arguments become compelling when supported by facts, evidence, and logical reasoning, delivered with moral integrity. Thus, debate is not merely an expression of ideas but intrinsically includes moral elements inseparable from those ideas. The interaction between intellect and morality in argumentation is essential, as intelligence produces strong, evidence-based arguments, while morality ensures ethical delivery and respect for opponents. In Islam, debate has been practiced since the time of the prophets. The Qur’an provides guidance on applying intellect and morality in prophetic debates. An analysis of relevant verses reveals six Qur’anic communication regulations for debate: (1) conducting debates wisely, (2) maintaining truthfulness, (3) conveying Islamic truth when debating People of the Book or different beliefs, (4) avoiding slander and harm, (5) refraining from unproductive arguments, and (6) preventing divisive debates. Abstract

Indonesia is a unitary state that adheres to the state ideology with an open system, a pluralistic and multicultural society, and various races, tribes, ethnicities and religions. The Indonesian state recognizes at least six religions. Lately, opinions have often emerged that mention the separation of religion from Pancasila; this is interesting to do further study. Does Pancasila conflict with religion? This research was conducted through a literature study that analyzed the Pancasila text from the perspective of preaching. Through a historical approach and content analysis, literature and references related to the objectives and focus of the research are searched for and collected. Data sources were obtained through books, journals, and observations in documentary films. Based on the discussion conducted, it can at least be concluded that the Pancasila text formulated by national figures, including Ulama, that the five principles in Pancasila contain exceptional preaching values and fundamental and principled meanings in Islamic teachings, both divinity, humanity, unity, democracy and wisdom, and justice are essential things to do and are teachings in Islam.
