Abstract

The research of application of electroplating technology testing at pandai Besi product as means to increase of quality and competitiveness had done, this research aimed to make reparation of production process and to applied electroplating technology in finishing process, until can adding to decorative properties and resistence of corrosion at product and to determine cost addition because that treatment.

Abstract

Productivity is very important for the company as a way to monitor the production performance. Productivity measurement is performed to determine the level of productivity performance of the company and can be used as guideline for continuous improvement. Similarly, the environmental aspect has become an important and strategic issues that must be addressed by the industry well and improved its performance continuously. In order to improve productivity while lowering environmental impact the company need to use Green Productivity model approach. The purposes of this research were to identify factors that affect productivity and environmental performance, as well as providing proposed improvement using Green Productivity method based on the highest value of the Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) index. The results showed that the factors that affect productivity and environmental performance are the boiler performance and the wastewater treatment. Therefore to overcome these problems, it was needed an improvement alternative. The improvement alternative proposed were to install Heat Exchanger and DAF (Dissoveled Air Floatation). From the estimated contribution, the chosen alternative could provide a significant increase in the productivity index of boiler at 103.64% better than the initial condition and productivity index of oil waste by 104.18% better than the initial condition, also there were decreased level of CO level at 0.19 and 0.17 for oil and fat.

Abstract

Waste has a negative impact on the environment. Hospital medical waste is a hazardous waste for the environment. Environmental performance measurement systems are used to measure the performance of hospitals in handling waste. The measurement of its environmental performance in the hospital is expected to provide improved sewage treatment systems. AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and OMAX (Objactive Matrix) methods are used to design environmental performance systems at hospitals. The data needed is medical and non medical treatment. Data were collected using pairwise comparison questionnaires. The questionnaire data shows the importance of key environmental performance indicators (KEPI). Results of questionnaires processed using Expert Choice. Expert Choice's output produces weight and consistency ratio. Weighted KEPI results are processed by OMAX method. The OMAX method is used to determine the value of environmental performance. There 41 KEPI aspects of the environment. Based on the results of the environmental performance assessment, liquid waste has the highest weight of 0.229.

Abstract

Regional Water Company (PDAM) Lamongan is a local company with main activity is to serve and provide clean water to communities through a system of pipes. Constraint occurs is in the process of drinking water treatment and wastewater sludge yield potential as a source of environmental pollution. Another problem is still limited because of PDAM services in 2013 is only capable of serving 4.7% of the total number of households (BPS population census of 2010). Taps need to increase the amount of water production in order to serve the wider community Lamongan. The concept of green productivity (GP) can be used in the search for solutions to increase productivity and protect the environment. The study begins by identifying the root cause of a lot of liquid waste and a low amount of water production, setting objectives and targets, choosing the resources and information available to arrange alternative green productivity. There are two alternatives, the selected alternative in this study are alternative 2 merge maximizing the raw water intake (pipe repair, purchase and installation of the intake screen 2 pump intake of government), Repair IPA II, and the use of wastewater that is the use of waste as material raw returned by first applying multilevel aeration technology to reduce levels of COD and BOD5 in wastewater. The productivity of the company in the first year after implementation of the selected alternative to 123%, an increase of 14% compared to the year 2013 and the total value of the EPI index to 18.35 or increased 42.65, which means it meets effluent standards wastewater East Java Governor Regulation No. 72 of 2013. In addition the production of water PDAM also increased 69.8% over the previous year.

Abstract

Competition of tourism business in Malang makes the recreational park management to improve their innovations. Innovation intended to how the management can increase the quality of service which is able to give significant advantages and differs from the others recreational park. Sengkaling Recreational Park is one of tourist destination in Malang which is quite a lot visited by tourists. But since the exist of another competitor the Jatim Park, causes the decreased of the number of visitors of the Sengkaling Recreational Park. Therefore research was needed to be done to know what kind of service attributes wanted by tourists and how is the difference condition between perceptions and tourist expectations to quality of service given. A planning method which applicable to translate the customer needs become the action plan form for company is QFD. This step can be use to evaluate and plan the improvement of service quality. To sharpen the identification of service quality attributes that need to be applied therefore QFD approach is integrated with Servqual approach. At the Servqual approach found nine service attributes which have negative gap (difference) between perceptions and tourist expectations, that is security and safety guarantee of the play arena, the complete of the play arena, availability of toilet, hygiene and less time to pass on the toilet, comfortable route tourism object, supporting facilities for health and safety, environmental safety of tourism object, availability of dangerous area guide, and hygiene environment of tourism area. To plan the improvement of service quality, through QFD approach from result of analysis HOQ is got from priority consumer desire based on percentage rating of Normalized Raw Weight which is the complete of plays arena (15.09%), comfortable route of tourism object (13.10%), security and safety guarantee of plays arena (12.45%) and availability of the toilet (11.73%). While technical response which given high priority to be repaired and improved to fulfill satisfaction of Sengkaling Recreational Park visitors that is elegibility test of plays arena equipments and supporting facilities in routine (97.323), renovation of toilet building (96.513), addition of toilet in strategic locations (93.697), installation of commemoration fringes or sign in all area of the tourism object (70.033), location of officer cleaning service effectively (66.227) and addition of arena facility plays at (57.982).

Abstract

Elizabeth Hospital of Situbondo represent one of the some hospital exist in Sub-province of Situbondo. With condition of like this is existing hospital have to show maximal performance and can give best service to society so that can become hospital society choice. Beside give service of health, as a hospital unit also have compulsion to always ever take care of the continuity of its life, even the including all existing shares or unit to expand in an optimal fashion. With condition of above, hence company in this case RS. Elizabeth Situbondo can become company of which can exploit system measurement of performance by using method of balanced scorecard to increase company performance on an ongoing basis so that can give required service consumer swiftly is, effective, inwrought, and professional. At this research of concept which is used in designing system measurement of performance balanced scorecard. As for in perspective which used in this research cover five in perpective that is finance, cutomer or client, internal business process, study and growth, and benefit to society. From this in perpective fifth is later then developed to become performance indicators able to be measured to utilize to know level attainment of Hospital performance. Pursuant to determination of performance indicator is later then conducted measurement by using ill obtained datas from home every its indicator, this measurement use objective matrix (OMAX), where hospital periodical can do planning and control to attainment of performance. In measurement use OMAX, included also wight element of each measured indicator, where in determination of wight every the indicator use analytical hierarchy process ( AHP). In measurement of in perpective fifth conducted performance yield 23 indicator. Result of performance measurement in 2007, index attainment of performance equal to 6,616.

Abstract

Industrial developments and environmental problems encourage decision-makers to determine optimal decisions. In addition, transportation is an aspect that has a significant contribution to environmental damage. Therefore, inventory and transportation decisions need to be integrated to minimize environmental problems. This study made an effort to develop a model of Sustainable EOQ with Multi Container Transportation Problems. The optimal procedure was proposed to determine the optimal number of containers in one vehicle. The results suggested that the proposed procedure could minimize the total annual inventory cost compared to the company's current solution.
