Abstract

Subsektor hortikultura merupakan salah satu subsektor yang penting di Indonesia. Berdasarkan BPS (2021), tanaman hortikultura menjadi salah satu kontributor terbesar pada pendapatan nasional khususnya di sektor pertanian setelah perkebunan. Cabai merah besar (Capsium annum L.) merupakan komoditas hortikultura dengan produksi tertinggi dan terus dibudidayakan di berbagai wilayah Indonesia yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Mulsa plastik hitam perak pada usahatani cabai merah besar digunakan sebagai alternatif meningkatkan produksi. Analisis ini digunakan untuk mengetahui besar keuntungan serta kelayakan usahatani untuk terus dijalankan. Manfaat lainnya yaitu untuk mengetahui komponen biaya yang masih dapat ditekan untuk mengurangi biaya produksi tanpa mengurangi hasil atau jumlah produksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Binamitra Usahatani Hortikultura Multiagro Makmur yang berlokasi di Dusun Cangkring Baru, Desa Cangkring, Kecamatan Jenggawah, Kabupaten Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi kegiatan observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan melakukan perhitungan B/C serta R/C Ratio. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh menunjukkan usahatani yang dilakukan pada petani cabai merah besar mitra bersifat menguntungkan dan layak untuk dijalankan.

Abstract

Taman Gading Asri Agrotourism is a horticultural agricultural object packaged with a tourism concept located in Jember Regency, but currently it has not been developed optimally. Study carried out aimed at managers of horticultural plant cultivation at Taman Gading Asri Agrotourism. Research design used is qualitative with case study research techniques. Analysis plan The data used is qualitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. From the results of the research that has been carried out it is known that Taman Gading Asri agrotourism activities start from education regarding the production process of horticultural crops by applying welfare rules for tourist attractions to culinary tourism. The strategy that has been implemented by Taman Gading Asri Agrotourism in Agrotourism development is making plans to improve facilities on location, improving customer service, and carrying out promotion of agrotourism through social media. The most appropriate strategy and The priority in developing Taman Gading Asri agrotourism is an aggressive strategy with increasing the various agrotourism attractions of Taman Gading Asri and expanding marketing.

Abstract

Perkembangan jumlah UMKM di Desa Jatimulyo Kecamatan Jenggawah Kabupaten Jember dari tahun ke tahun semakin bertambah. Kebanyakan UMKM di Desa Jatimulyo yaitu lebih mengarah pada bidang makanan maupun minuman. Contoh UMKM yang ada diantaranya yaitu usaha catering, jamu tradisional, pengrajin tempe, kerupuk kedelai, rengginang, keripik usus, keripik singkong, susu kedelai, kerupuk pentol dan masih banyak produk-produk lainnya. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, masih terdapat beberapa kendala yang pada umumnya dihadapi oleh pelaku UMKM. Tujuan kegiatan diantaranya : (1) Memberikan wawasan pengetahuan bagi pelaku usaha dalam Etika Bisnis.; (2) Memberikan pengetahuan bagi pelaku usaha tentang pentingnya pencatatan transaksi keuangan melalui manjemen keuangan sederhana; dan (3) Meningkatkan daya saing produk melalui publikasi web untuk mempermudah pemasaran. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan di Desa Jatimulyo Kecamatan Jenggawah Kabupaten Jember selama 3 bulan dimulai pada bulan Oktober sampai Desember tahun 2021. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu diawali dengan adanya survey dan sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Melalui pendampingan Satu Desa Satu Dosen (SDSD) dapat memberikan output bagi Desa Jatimulyo Kecamatan Jenggawah Kabupaten Jember yaitu berupa website UMKM yaitu https://umkmjatimulyo.wixsite.com/umkmdesajatimulyo.

Abstract

One of the development successes is in the agricultural sector related to food commodities. Food crops are one of the farming subsectors that have an important role in the Indonesian economy, such as providing added value for commodities that get treatment (agro-industry). An example of added value is making agricultural products as new products that are long-lived and ready for consumption. The added value generated can increase revenue. One of the farming subsectors that gets a lot of treatment (processing) is food commodities such as soybeans. Soybeans can be consumed directly or in processed form. Soybeans in processed form can be used as, tempeh, soy sauce, milk, sauce, and so on. is a snack made from soybeans and consumed as a companion to rice. Gebang Village is one of the villages in Patrang District, Jember Regency which has many agro-industries, one of which is "Saudara Jaya”. This study aims is to determine the added value of soybean processing in the "Saudara Jaya” agroindustry. The research methods used are descriptive and analytical. The data collection method uses primary and secondary data. Data analysis tools use value-added analysis using biological methods. The results showed that: The added value of "Saudara Jaya" agroindustry provides a positive value of Rp.7,970/kg, a value-added ratio of 32%, and a profit of Rp. 6,620/kg with a profit rate of 27% for large . Meanwhile, small-sized has a value-added result of Rp. 20,792/kg with a value added ratio of 60%, a profit of Rp. 20,214/kg with a profit rate of 59%.

Abstract

The slopes of Mount Argopuro are naturally rich in inactive volcanoes in Indonesia. The surrounding community uses this area as a place for economic livelihoods. One of the dominant economic sectors in which the surrounding community chooses to meet its living needs is the agricultural sector, particularly the livestock sector. Community empowerment activities aim to 1) Increase understanding of business innovation to increase the added value of managing livestock waste; 2) Build pioneering business institutions through Community Business Groups; and 3) Initiate business marketing and sustainability. The method of implementing community empowerment includes socialization and training with four criteria: 1) Providing material on the importance of institutions; 2) Product diversity as a requirement for developing livestock waste processing businesses; 3) Business Development Practices; and 4) Strengthening business management. Community empowerment activities are equipped with activity evaluation methods through surveys that provide pre-test and post-test treatments to the unemployed community in Panti Village. The results of the Community Service show that the unemployed community in Panti Village can understand the benefits of strengthening institutions based on business legality and the creation of AD/ART as a basic requirement for the formation of institutions. The unemployed community can know, understand, and develop skills in the diversity of livestock waste processing that have not been utilized either economically or ecologically. An unemployed community can create packaging designs, promotions, networking, social media accounts, product trust concepts, and management to improve business performance. To improve the sustainability of the program and product absorption, the community empowerment team cooperates based on business transparency with the business incubator of the Faculty of Economics and Business Laboratory, University of Jember to improve networking and product expansion in the future.

Abstract

Masyarakat sesungguhnya sangat menginginkan adanya keamanan pangan yaitu produk pangan yang bergizi dan tidak menimbulkan pada terganggunya kesehatan seseorang. Pada kenyataannya banyak produk pangan yang mengakibatkan masyarakat sakit. Pasalnya, produsen makanan tidak memperdulikan unsur keamanan pangan, namun ada juga pelaku bisnis yang sengaja melakukan kesalahan demi mendapatkan banyak keuntungan. Desa Jenggawah merupakan salah satu wilayah administrasi dari Struktur Pemerintahan Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah penggalian potensi desa, desa Jenggawah merupakan salah satu daerah yang merupakan sentra dari para pelaku usaha khususnya usaha di bidang pengolahan pangan yang sehat. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut adalah (1) Hasil yang diperoleh berupa masalah umum dan ide pemecahan masalah yang terdiri dari keinginan mayoritas pelaku usaha di Desa Jenggawah yang berkepentingan dengan diberlakukannya usaha yang sedang berlangsung (2) Meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan keuangan pelaku usaha yang selama ini menjadi masalah umum khususnya kegiatan penjualan produk. Selanjutnya didapatkan rekomendasi di dalam memberikan solusi yang terdiri dari sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan pendampingan teknis dalam pentingnya pelaksanaan perijinan SPP-IRT dan optimalisasi manajemen usaha melalui proses manajemen keuangan digital.

Abstract

Desa Sanenrejo merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Tempuejo Kabupaten Jember. Luas wilayah Desa Sanenrejo mencapai 489,461 Ha/m. Desa Sanenrejo meiliki dua dusun, yaitu Dusun Krajan dan Dusun Mandilis. Desa Sanenrejo berbatasan langsung dengan lima desa dan Taman Nasional Meru Betiri. Desa Sanenrejo berada pada ketinggian 425 mdpl dengan intensitas curah hujan mencapai 2,154 Mm sepanjang tahun. Meski berada di dataran yang cukup tinggi, tetapi suhu rata-rata harian Desa Sanenrejo mencapai 30°C yang bisa dikatakan cukup panas. Topografi Desa Sanenrejo terbentang diantara bukit-bukit seluas 33,1 Ha dan dibawah lereng gunung seluas 30 Ha. Desa Sanenrejo disebut sebagai desa penyangga TamanNasional Meru Betiri karena berbatasan langsung dengan kawasan hutan konservasi.. Tujuan dari program pengabdian membangun desa adalah untuk memberikan solusi terkait permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Desa Sanenrejo Khususnya Kelompok Masyarakat Masyarakat Betiri Sejahtera Lestari (BSL), berupa Penyuluhan peningkatan referensi dan wawasan alternatif pengolahan produk untuk pengembangan usaha, Sosialisasi Strategi Pemasaran, dan Sosialisasi Pentingnya Kesadaran Manajemen Usaha Yang Baik. Metode pengabdian membangun desa ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui survey, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya kesadaran akan pentingnya keberlanjutan usaha dari Kelompok Masyarakat masyarakat Betiri Sejahtera Lestari.

Abstract

Mas Kirana’s banana is a germplasm as well as an icon of Lumajang District, East Java Province. Mas Kirana bananas are designated as Indonesian genetic resources based on the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 516/Kpts/SR.120/12/2005. This study aims to formulate a pattern of business capital formation and development strategy for Mas Kirana banana commodity as an effort to preserve Indonesia's germplasm. Data collection was done by structured interview method. Determination of the sample is done by snowball sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive methods and Force Field Analysis (FFA). The results showed that the pattern of capital business capital formation for Mas Kirana's banana consisted of family capital, financial institution capital, non-financial institutional capital, and personal capital. The identification process resulted in 7 (seven) driving factors and 7 (seven) inhibiting factors for Mas Kirana banana development. Key Success Factors (FKK) for developing Mas Kirana Banana Farmers Groups on the driving factor dimension are the Mas Kirana Banana commodity which has a comparative advantage and is certified Geographically Indication (GI), while the inhibiting factor dimension is the weakness of farmer resources in managing and developing group finances. Based on the FKK value of the driving and inhibiting factors, the recommended strategy is farmer institutional engineering through the formation of the Mas Kirana banana farmer cooperative.

Abstract

Organic farming is an agricultural practice that prioritizes the use of natural ingredients and environmentally friendly techniques in producing food. Organic farming practices place greater emphasis on maintaining ecosystem balance, soil health and environmental sustainability. The organic farming program implemented by the Jember Regency government in its application is carried out through empowering farming communities. This research was conducted in Sumbersari District, Jember Regency, precisely in Karangrejo Village using qualitative analysis methods and a snowball sampling approach. Sampling is initially small, then increases over time and stops when the information obtained is deemed sufficient. The aim of this research is to find out the role of organic farming in the welfare of farmers in Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. Based on interviews and observations, the results showed that organic farming implemented by farmers in Sumbersari District was still unable to improve farmers' welfare, which was not in accordance with the theory that organic farming should be able to help improve farmers' welfare because the price of organic products was higher than non-organic products. One of the reasons for the low income of organic farmers in Sumbersari District is because farmers do not have organic certification so their products are not priced according to the price of organic products. Decreased productivity and inappropriate prices are factors that cause a decline in the welfare of organic farmers in Sumbersari District, Jember Regency.

Abstract

Jember Regency is an area that has many tourism sectors and opportunities for regional progress. One of them is the Kali Jompo Tourism which has tourist attractions in the form of river flows and natural beauty. The purpose of writing this research is to determine the potential and strategy for developing Kali Jompo agrotourism at the village, sub-district and district scale. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method and uses a qualitative approach using the IFE, EFE and SWOT matrices. The results of the analysis show that there are 9 internal factors and 7 external factors and obtain 8 alternative strategies for developing Kali Jompo agrotourism. The strategic priorities obtained are exploiting tourist interest by increasing nature-based uniqueness, increasing the contribution of local communities in developing agrotourism, and improving the quality of human resources and organizational management.
