Abstract

The advancement of science facilitates the development of new technologies that signify the progress of society. MTsS Muhammadiyah Kurai Taji aims to incorporate information technology into its data processing activities. Currently, the school relies on manual methods for processing student data, which often results in inaccuracies, particularly in classifying underprivileged students and other categories. This manual approach has led to challenges in maintaining valid data, which in turn complicates the decision-making process for scholarship allocations. To address these issues, the author proposes the development of a web-based A decision Support System (DSS). A DSS is a computer-based information system designed to support organizational decision-making. The proposed system will utilize MySQL database management to ensure the accuracy and validity of the data. By implementing this web-based information system, the school will benefit from increased time efficiency in data retrieval and scholarship processing. Additionally, this system will streamline reporting processes and improve the identification of students eligible for scholarship assistance, thereby addressing the current challenges faced by the school.

Abstract

The development of information technology provides great benefits and convenience, both in terms of data processing and presentation of information on inventory of existing goods in organizations, agencies or companies. One of the business processes that can be developed through information technology is the company's supply chain management process. An inventory information system using a good Supply Chain Management (SCM) method will increase the productivity and performance of the company. In conducting the research conducted at the pharmacy, the aim was to improve the old system. By conducting direct observations in the field, several weaknesses were found from the system that was running at the Arafah Padang Pharmacy. The results of the analysis are applied in an application that is able to process inventory system data using the Supply Chain Management (SCM) method. With the design of an inventory system with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) method, it can be more helpful in processing drug inventory data and the existing inventory system can increase the effectiveness and work efficiency of Pharmacy employees.

Abstract

Computer technology that is increasingly developing has created a situation that demands everything to be computerized. Science from technology has also changed the way of life of most Indonesians. The presence of information and communication technology affects the technology applied in information systems, especially the input and output mechanisms. One of them is at the Clinic which requires computer technology in its operations. The design of this website also uses 3 stages of Rapid Application Development (RAD) system design, the result of which is a website for a medical record information system. In order for clinical activities to run smoothly at the Clinic, an information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is needed because the software development process model is classified as an incremental technique and emphasizes short, short, and fast development cycles. Medical record system testing will be tested using Blackbox Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT) testing.

Abstract

Penting bagi orang tua untuk memastikan bahwa bayi mendapat gizi yang baik sejak usia dini. Tujuannya untuk membantu bayi tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik. Ukuran status gizi baik bayi adalah terpenuhinya kebutuhan gizi hariannya secara optimal. Hitung tangan masih digunakan untuk menentukan bayi baik dan kurang gizi di Posyandu Cempaka. Cara ini tentu dianggap kurang efektif dan memakan waktu lebih lama. Sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) digunakan untuk menentukan gizi baik dan buruk pada bayi di Posyandu Cempaka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggunakan asesmen untuk mengetahui gizi baik dan buruk pada bayi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Vikor sebagai metode pemeringkatan menurut kriteria yang digunakan untuk menilai bayi gizi baik dan gizi buruk yaitu. berdasarkan berat badan, tinggi badan, umur (bulan), lingkar kepala dan lingkar pinggang. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini dapat menunjukkan peringkat dan memilih dari beberapa alternatif, mengidentifikasi solusi kompromi untuk masalah dengan kriteria yang bertentangan dan membantu pengambil keputusan membuat keputusan akhir yang tepat.

Abstract

Padang is a city that is prone to earthquakes and tsunamis due to its location between the India and Asia plateson the west coast and being crossed by the Great Sumatran fault. The Padang coastal region is a strong source ofearthquakes and tsunamis. Despite having experienced earthquakes in 2006, 2007, and 2009, Padang still facesdifficulties in managing tsunami evacuation because of the lack of infrastructure and straight roads from the coast tohigher ground. The presence of rivers in Padang causes the tsunami waves to be concentrated within a 200-meter radiusand the evacuation routes are hindered by the presence of bridges that are not durable against tsunamis and earthquakes.Additionally, traffic congestion after an earthquake exacerbates the evacuation problems. This study aims to map the riskand potential of earthquakes and tsunamis in Padang 3 KM from the coast by comparing population and building datawith the availability of shelters. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, as part of Geographic InformationSystem, is used to analyze demographic data and shelter locations. The results show that Koto Tangah is the area with thehighest risk level for earthquakes and tsunamis.

Abstract

Student attendance is an important element in ensuring proper presence and participation in the academic environment. However, in the Information Technology Department of Padang State Polytechnic, the attendance process is still conducted manually, which leads to various issues such as the potential for cheating, inaccuracies in recordkeeping, and paper waste. This research aims to address the issue by designing and developing a QR code and geolocation-based attendance system using the Design Thinking and Prototype methods. The Design Thinking method is used to explore and understand user needs, while the Prototype method is employed to develop and test solutions iteratively. The system produced is expected to improve the accuracy of attendance recording, reduce fraud, and minimize resource waste. In addition, this research contributes to creating a more efficient, reliable, and user-friendly attendance system, particularly in academic settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengusulkan sebuah sistem untuk mengklasifikasikan tingkat kematangan apel dengan menggunakan metode K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) berdasarkan fitur bentuk dan tekstur apel. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu sistem membedakan antara apel hijau dan apel merah. Proses identifikasi dimulai dengan segmentasi citra menggunakan metode KNN. Hasil segmentasi citra terlebih dahulu diubah menjadi citra biner, kemudian diubah menjadi citra grayscale. Kinerja sistem dicapai dengan mengombinasikan metode KNN dengan ekstraksi fitur citra grayscale. Fitur-fitur yang diekstraksi meliputi nilai metrik sebesar 0,5, eksentrisitas 0,2, kontras 0,1, korelasi 0,9, energi 0,3, dan homogenitas 0,9. Berdasarkan nilai-nilai tersebut, sistem mampu mengidentifikasi apel merah dengan akurat.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah memengaruhi hampir semua aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Penting bagi mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi ini. Saat ini penerapan teknologi sudah mulai pesat, tidak ada satupun kegiatan yang tidak melibatkan penggunaan komputer. Salah satu software gratis yang dapat digunakan untuk manajemen referensi pada penulisan karya ilmiah atau tugas akhir.  Pelatihan manajemen referensi merupakan kebutuhan penting bagi mahamahasiswa, khususnya dalam mendukung penyusunan karya ilmiah yang terstruktur dan terorganisir. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan manajemen referensi bagi mahamahasiswa organisasi Al-Makki Universitas Al-Azhar, Mesir. Pelatihan ini berfokus pada penggunaan perangkat lunak manajemen referensi, seperti Mendeley dan Zotero, yang memungkinkan mahamahasiswa untuk menyimpan, mengelola, serta menyusun daftar pustaka secara efisien. Metode pelatihan meliputi pembekalan teoretis, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung, sehingga peserta dapat memahami cara mengintegrasikan aplikasi manajemen referensi dalam penulisan ilmiah mereka. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam mengelola referensi secara otomatis, mengurangi kesalahan pengutipan, serta meningkatkan produktivitas dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Program ini juga menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun budaya akademik yang lebih profesional di kalangan mahamahasiswa Universitas Al-Azhar, Mesir. Dari 40 peserta baik secara offline maupun online yang mengikuti kegiatan ini, sebanyak 83% berhasil memahami penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley, sementara sisanya (17%) masih mengalami kesulitan, terutama karena keterbatasan, seperti tidak memiliki laptop. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, aktivitas ini dinilai berhasil mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan dalam program pengabdian kemitraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Tourist satisfaction is a key proxy for destination service quality, yet automatic sentiment analysis of online reviews still faces class imbalance, overfitting, and limited deployability. This study proposes ACLM, a hybrid sentiment classification pipeline that learns semantic and temporal features with a CNN-LSTM backbone and evaluates three classifier heads (Softmax, Logistic Regression, XGBoost) on a three-class corpus (neutral, satisfied, dissatisfied). The objective is to deliver an accurate and operational model for decision support in tourism services. The idea combines Word2Vec embeddings, a compact CNN for local patterns, an LSTM for sequence dependencies, and a training workflow with text cleaning, SMOTE based balancing, and regularization to curb overfitting; outputs are exposed through a simple Streamlit interface. Results show that CNN-LSTM with a Softmax head attains accuracy 0.89, macro precision 0.89, macro recall 0.84, and macro F1 0.86, outperforming Logistic Regression (accuracy 0.87, macro precision 0.84, macro recall 0.82, macro F1 0.82) and XGBoost (accuracy 0.85, macro precision 0.80, macro recall 0.82, macro F1 0.80). The findings indicate that deep sequence features paired with a simple Softmax head provide the best tradeoff between accuracy and stability for three-way sentiment classification. The contribution is a reusable, end to end blueprint from preprocessing and balanced training to quantitative evaluation and an inference GUI, and the novelty lies in testing interchangeable classifier heads on a single CNN-LSTM feature extractor while explicitly addressing data imbalance and deployment constraints. The GUI is implemented using the highest accuracy model, namely CNN-LSTM with Softmax.

Abstract

Sistem informasi laporan keuangan adalah kegiatan pencatatan laporan keuangan yang diterapkan guna mempermudah dalam proses pengolahan data keuangan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi pengelolaan transaksi keuangan pada sekolah berbasis web. Sistem informasi ini meliputi sistem pencatatan, pembuatan jurnal umum, buku besar, dan neraca saldo. Pihak bendahara sekolah melakukan proses pencatatan masih menggunakan Ms. Excel. Terkait hal tersebut, dirancang sebuah sistem berbasis akuntansi guna membantu dalam proses pencatatan transaksi keuangan pada sekolah menengah pertama (SMP). Lokasi pengabdian dilakukan pada SMP 24 Padang. Pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) ini dapat membantu mengurangi redudansidata, menghasilkan informasi secara cepat, tepat dan akurat serta data laporan keuangan dapat disimpan dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan aplikasi ini adalah Object Oriented Programming (OOP) dengan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) dalam analisis perancangan sistem. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah berupa rancangan sistem informasi akuntansi yang dapat mempermudah pencatatan transaksi keuangan yang dilakukan oleh pihak sekolah.
