Abstract

This Mental and Spiritual Development Program was initiated by STT REAL Batam and GBI Windsor House of Glory. This coaching program is a routine program of STT REAL Batam to carry out the tridharma of higher education which is the first program or pilot project in collaboration with GBI Windsor Square House of Glory which is committed to the field of Mental and Spiritual Development of Christian Prisoners at the Batam Class II Child Development Institute. It is hoped that this coaching program can support government programs in rehabilitative, corrective, and educative services to inmates and participate in building life values so that they can equip inmates spiritually so that they can carry out their roles well. and good citizens. useful. This coaching program is a mentoring movement to improve the quality of piety to God Almighty, intellectual, professional attitudes and behavior, physical and spiritual health of the inmates. Program pembinaan ini sendiri merupakan gerakan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan kualitas ketakwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, intelektual, sikap dan perilaku profesional, kesehatan jasmani dan rohani warga binaan. Selanjutnya diharapkan pembinaan agar mereka mampu memperbaiki diri dan tidak mengulangi kejahatan yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

The danger of drugs is very real where this is very troubling among teachers or lecturers from educational institutions. Many young people are victimized and if left unchecked it will damage the younger generation which will certainly threaten the life of the nation in the future. Prevention needs to be done. The influence of the use of these prohibited substances can harm the user both for the health of the body and ruster and mental. It can even lead to death. There needs to be an effort to find out why drug use is actually a lot among the younger generation or students. Therefore, this journal was compiled with the hope that it can be a driver for many parties to make efforts to prevent drug use through socialization among young people.AbstrakBahaya narkoba merupakan hal yang sangat nyata dimana ini sangat meresahkan kalangan termasuk guru atau dosen dari instansi pendidikan. Banyak anak muda yang menjdai korban dan bila dibiarkan maka akan merusak generasi muda yang pastinya akan mengancam kehidupan bangsa kedepannya. Pencegahan perlu dilakukan. Pengaruh penggunaan zat terlarang tersebut dapat memberbahayakan penggunanya baik bagi kesehatan tubuh maupun karater dan mental. Bahkan dapat menyebabkan kematian. Perlu adanya upaya mencari tahu mengapa penggunaan narkoba justru banyak dikalangan generasi muda atau para pelajar. Untuk itulah jurnal ini disusun dengan harapan dapat menjadi pendorong banyak pihak untuk melakukan upaya pencegahan penggunaan narkoba melalui sosialisasi di kalangan anak muda.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to see the impact of teaching Christian religious education to children in the family based on Ephesians 6:4. The main issue that often occurs in the family so far is that parents (fathers) are not good teachers and role models for children, and not even a few children are hurt mentally just because of their parents' actions. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. The results obtained in this paper are that educating children with love according to God's teachings and advice is an urgent matter in the family. Thus, education in the family has a very significant role in shaping every child and this cannot be ignored by every parent.

Abstract

Facing the current industrial era 4.0, requires Christian Religious Education to enrich its teaching forms in an applied manner for students. The applied education needed by PAK today will be very rich if we learn from how the Israelites educate their descendants based on the laws taught by God. So the purpose of this research is to explore the educational aspects of the Israelites and how they maintain the heritage of ancient Israeli education that continues to be relevant to be applied to generation Z without reducing values and truths. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, namely observing various primary literature in the hope of obtaining sufficiently in-depth explanations from previous research, historical experts and education experts, the data obtained will be recorded and analyzed. The results of the study are divided into two: one is the existence of a strong relationship between educators and parents in achieving the vision of education, secondly, parents are able to dispel the negative influences caused by technological developments by taking responsibility for introducing children to who their God is and all His statutes consistently and repeatedly, so that generation Z is able to distinguish the values they should adopt or leave behind. This proves that they still maintain the pattern of ancient Israel's upbringing which prioritizes relationships with God and maintains holiness before God as a chosen nation. Keywords: Gen; Ancient Israel; EducationAbstrak Menghadapai era industri 4.0 saat ini, menuntut Pendidikan Agama Kristen untuk memperkaya bentuk pengajarannya secara terapan bagi peserta didik. Pendidikan terapan yang di butuhkan oleh PAK zaman ini akan sangat kaya jika belajar dari bagaimana cara bangsa israel mendidik keturunannya berdasarkan hukum-hukum yang di ajarkan Tuhan. Maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyelami aspek-aspek pendidikan bangsa Israel serta bagaimana mereka mempertahankan peninggalan pendidikan Israel kuno yang terus relevan untuk diaplikasikan terhadap generasi Z tanpa mengurangi nilai-nilai dan kebenaran. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitiann kualitatif deskriptif yaitu melakukan observasi tehadap berbagai literatur primer dengan harapan dapat memperoleh penjelasan yang cukup mendalam dari penelitian sebelumnya, para ahli sejarah dan ahli pendidikan, data yang diperoleh akan akan di catat dan dianalisis. Hasil penelitian terbagi menjadi dua: satu adanya relasi yang kuat antara pendidik dan orang tua dalam mencapai visi pendidikan, kedua orang tua mampu menghalau pengaruh negatif yang diakibatkan oleh perkembangan teknologi dengan bertangung jawab memperkenalkan kepada anak siapa Allah-nya dan seluruh ketetapan-ketetapan-Nya secara konsisten dan berulang-ulang, sehingga generasi Z mampu membedakan nilai-nilai yang patut mereka adopsi atau tinggalkan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa mereka masih memelihara pola didikan Israel kuno yang mengutamakan hubungan dengan Tuhan serta menjaga kekudusan dihadapan Tuhan-Nya sebagai bangsa pilihan.Kata Kunci: Gen Z; Israel Kuno; Pendidikan

Abstract

The church's role in fulfilling God's mission is a primary calling for all people across religions and cultures. However, many churches today have begun to lose their zeal in responding to the Great Commission entrusted by God. In this modern era of rapid technological development, some churches in Indonesia tend to focus more on internal matters. This condition poses a serious challenge that may hinder the fulfillment of God's mission. Ironically, technological advancements have not been maximized to expand the scope of mission work. This article aims to identify the challenges faced by Pentecostal churches in Indonesia in the context of modern society and highlight the role of the Holy Spirit in awakening missional awareness among churches and God’s servants. Using a qualitative approach, this study encourages churches to actively respond to contemporary challenges while remaining faithful to their divine mission in a relevant and contextual manner. Abstrak:Peran gereja dalam misi Allah merupakan panggilan utama bagi seluruh umat manusia lintas agama dan budaya. Namun, banyak gereja mulai kehilangan semangat dalam menanggapi Amanat Agung yang Tuhan percayakan. Di era modern yang ditandai oleh pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, sebagian gereja di Indonesia justru lebih fokus pada urusan internal. Kondisi ini menjadi tantangan serius yang dapat menghambat pelaksanaan misi Allah. Ironisnya, kemajuan teknologi belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal untuk memperluas pelayanan misi. Artikel ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi gereja Pentakostal dalam konteks zaman modern serta menyoroti peran Roh Kudus dalam membangkitkan kesadaran misi di kalangan gereja dan hamba Tuhan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, tulisan ini diharapkan mendorong gereja untuk aktif menjawab tantangan zaman dan tetap setia pada panggilan misinya secara relevan dan kontekstual. Kata Kunci: Era Modern, Pelayanan Misi Pentakosta, Tantangan.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pencemaran laut di Pulau Buluh, Kota Batam, terutama oleh sampah plastik, mengancam ekosistem dan kehidupan masyarakat pesisir. Tujuan: Meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis anak-anak dan remaja gereja melalui edukasi berbasis nilai-nilai spiritual Kristen. Metode: Pendekatan partisipatif dan reflektif digunakan untuk menggabungkan pemahaman teologis dan tindakan ekologis nyata. Hasil: Program ini meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis di kalangan peserta dan masyarakat, serta menghasilkan model edukasi lingkungan berbasis spiritualitas Kristen yang kontekstual. Kesimpulan: Edukasi berbasis teologi terbukti efektif membangun kepedulian ekologis lintas generasi. Diperlukan pengembangan kurikulum ekoteologi dan replikasi program serupa di wilayah pesisir lainnya.

Abstract

This study addresses the persistent problem in Christian education where theological instruction remains predominantly cognitive, resulting in a gap between theological knowledge and authentic spiritual practice. The purpose of this research is to analyze and synthesize the relationship among theological knowledge, faith attitude, and meaning of life in shaping spiritual maturity. Using an integrative literature review approach, the study systematically examined 45 selected articles from major databases such as Scopus, ProQuest, and SpringerLink. The findings reveal that spiritual maturity emerges from the synergistic interaction of three dimensions: theological knowledge as the cognitive foundation, faith attitude as the affective internalization, and meaning of life as the existential bridge that connects belief with spiritual experience. This integration forms a new conceptual model that emphasizes reflection, personal meaning, and transformation as the essence of Christian education. The novelty of this study lies in the formulation of a comprehensive framework linking cognition, affection, and existential meaning in one unified model of spiritual maturity—an approach rarely developed in the Indonesian context. The study concludes that effective Christian education must unite head, heart, and hands through reflective and transformative learning processes. Practically, the results contribute to curriculum development in Christian education that balances theological understanding with personal and spiritual formation.

Abstract

The application of technology-based education really requires innovation from teachers.  The aim of writing this article is to describe the efforts of teachers in dealing with the dynamics in the digital-based learning process. This article describes the various challenges faced by teachers in maximizing learning in accordance with the demands of the government in mastering technology in learning.  But in reality, there are still teachers who have not mastered online platforms. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this study are that teachers are required to have technological knowledge, have the ability (skills) to apply technology, transform with the digital world, and have high creativity in utilizing various existing tools. All the dynamics experienced by teachers so far can be resolved by attending various trainings and workshops to support the ability to teach.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan program studi magister pendidikan STT REAL Batam melihat bahwa kebersihan lingkungan dapat mempengaruhi keberlangsungan hidup juga sehingga diadakannya kegiatan kebersihan lingkungan di Pulau Buluh yang sebelumnya sudah dilakukan observasi oleh tim Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan menemukan masih kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk melakukan pembersihan sampah di lingkungan pemukiman masyarakat yang tinggal dipesisir pantai. dan memberikan edukasi masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sekitar. Metode pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), yang melibatkan peserta secara aktif dalam mengumpulkan dan menganalisis informasi, dilakukan dengan cara sosialisai dan/atau memberikan edukasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Pulau Buluh berjalan dengan lancar dan masyarakat semakin menyadari akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sekitar. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Pulau Buluh yang dilakukan oleh Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Agama Kristen STT REAL Batam bekerja sama dengan perusahaan Free the Sea telah berhasil menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap lingkungan pesisir dan masyarakat setempat. Harapan tim pengabdian masyarakat adalah agar masyarakat pulau Buluh dapat menjalani kehidupan lebih perduli lingkungannya.
