Abstract

This research aimed to develop a Green Banking framework based on the principles of Fiqh Ecology, implemented through CSR initiatives in Indonesian sharia banking. A qualitative methodology was employed, including literature review and policy analysis tools, along with coding analysis to discern primary themes from collected data. Regulations and policies related to environmental protection in the banking sector, such as Law No. 7 of 1992 on Banking (amended by Law No. 10 of 1998), Law No. 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management (UUPPLH), Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 7/2/PBI/2005, Bank Indonesia Circular Letter No. 7/3/DPNP, and green financing regulations, align with the principles of Fiqh Ecology in Sharia banking. The integration of Fiqh Ecology and corporate social responsibility (CSR) into the Green Banking framework has produced significant outcomes. The principles of Fiqh Ecology—Balance (Mizan), Responsibility (Amanah), Prohibition of Destruction (Fasad fil Ardh), Maintenance (Hifz), and Sustainability (Istidamah)—are reflected in the CSR policies of Islamic banking. These policies include initiatives such as environmental risk assessments in credit decisions, creating green financial products, funding policies for eco-friendly projects, annual carbon footprint reporting, collaboration with NGOs, investment in renewable energy, and public campaigns. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kerangka Perbankan Hijau berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip Fikih Ekologi dan diimplementasikan melalui inisiatif CSR di perbankan syariah Indonesia. Abstract

This study explores the concept of profit accountability in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from an Islamic accounting perspective, with a specific focus on SMEs in Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Recognizing SMEs as vital contributors to regional economic development, this research addresses the limited understanding of how profit is perceived and managed within such enterprises, especially under religious and cultural values. Employing a qualitative field research design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving 29 SME actors and local cooperative agencies. Data validity was ensured through triangulation and assessed using the criteria of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The findings reveal that SME actors tend to maintain informal and basic financial records. More importantly, the notion of accountability extends beyond human stakeholders to a spiritual accountability to Allah SWT, reflecting the integration of religious values in business practices. Profit, in this context, is not merely financial but also encompasses non-material dimensions such as health, social relationships, knowledge, and spiritual fulfillment. This study contributes to the literature on Islamic accounting by providing a contextual understanding of accountability and profit, offering insights for policymakers and practitioners seeking to support SME development in socio-religious settings.

Abstract

In the world of investment, investors must be able to identify investment opportunities that provide returns so that they can generate optimal levels of return with minimal risk. This study aims to analyze stock investment decisions using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) using the LQ45 Index as a market proxy. This type of research is descriptive research with quantitative methods. The data source used is secondary data, namely monthly closing price data. The sampling in this study was determined using purposive sampling, out of 45 companies included in the LQ45 index, only 23 companies met the criteria and became a research sample. The data analysis method was used using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) method to classify undervalued and overvalued stocks using Microsoft Excel 2016. The results of the calculation of the rate of return of individual shares (Ri) resulted in an average of 0.00506, with the largest return owned by ANTM shares and the lowest by INDF shares. The average systematic risk is worth more than 1, which is 1.25, so in general, the 23 shares of the companies used as research samples have high systematic risk and tend to be active in responding to market price changes. Based on the data analysis, there is a nonlinear relationship between systematic risk (β) and the expected rate of return on shares [E(Ri)]. Of the 23 company stocks that were the research sample, there were 12 company stocks that were included in the undervalued category, namely, ADRO, ANTM, BBCA, BBNI, BBRI, BBTN, BMRI, CPIN, EXCL, INCO, INKP, ITMG. Abstract

Fraudulent activities, driven by both desire and opportunity, pose significant risks to organizations, leading to financial losses and undermining ethical standards. This study examines a moderated model of internal control on organizational ethical behaviors, mediated by mindfulness and spirituality. The proposed model was tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS3, with survey data from 32 religious state universities in Indonesia. The findings indicate that internal control structures enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency, the reliability of financial reporting, and compliance with laws and regulations at State Religious Universities in Indonesia. Internal control effectiveness mediates the relationship between internal control structure and organizational ethical behavior. Furthermore, organizational awareness and spirituality moderate the relationship between internal control structure and internal control effectiveness, as well as organizational ethical behavior, elucidating the conditions necessary for an effective internal control structure to achieve good university governance.
