Abstract

This experimental research implemented Flipped Classroom Model (FCM) in teaching writing with interactive multimedia, aiming at exploring whether FCM can enhance the students’ writing ability. The research was conducted at the second semester students of English Department Students Islamic State University of Datokarama Palu. This research assigned two groups namely experimental and control group. The sample was selected using taken by applying purposive sampling. A group of 18 students were taught by implementing flipped classroom model while in other group students were given conventional way. The Instrument of this research was writing decriptive test. The data obtained through the test were analyzed by using statistical analysis and SPSS 20. Based on the result of research the mean score of post-test of experimental group (84.11) was higher than control group (75.52). The result of the t-test value (7.175) was higher than t-table value (2.000). In other words, H­0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This means that implementing implementing flipped classroom model with interactive multimedia enhance the students’ writing ability significantly of the second grade students atof English Department Students Islamic State University of Datokarama Palu

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of visual media usage on students' motivation and understanding of English vocabulary at SMPN 33 Barru. The research used a quantitative approach involving 17 ninth-grade students as the sample. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires, and analyzed using paired t-test with the help of SPSS. The results show that visual media significantly improved students' motivation and vocabulary understanding, as evidenced by the increase in the average pre-test score from 48.71 to 80.06 in the post-test. The t-test analysis resulted in a Sig. (2-tailed) value < 0.000, indicating the effectiveness of visual media in enhancing learning outcomes.

Abstract

Sharia banking has the aim of seeking maximum profits to improve the financial performance of sharia banking in Indonesia. If sharia banking can achieve these goals, it can be considered to have good financial performance. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of the sharia maqashid index and profitability on the financial performance of sharia banking by using sharia banking data listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The benefit of this research is as a data reference for parties interested in information on the financial performance of Sharia Banks listing on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The type of research used is associative research. The data collection technique used in this study is documentation, by collecting financial reports of Islamic banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2022. The type of data in this study is secondary data. The data analysis techniques used in this study are the Maqashid Sharia Index ratio, the profitability ratio of Return On Equity (ROE), the financial performance ratio of Quick Ratio (QR), and the data analysis technique uses multiple correlation analysis. The results of this study show that the Maqashid Sharia Index significantly influences the financial performance of Islamic banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2022. Profitability, measured by Return On Equity (ROE), also significantly affects the financial performance of Islamic banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2022, based on hypothesis testing. Therefore, the Maqashid Sharia Index and profitability, measured by Return On Equity (ROE), significantly impact the financial performance of Islamic banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2022, based on hypothesis testing. Research suggestions to Sharia Banking is to further improve its financial performance so that can attract more investors to invest in this research useful in providing insight into significant factors influences financial performance, so it can be used to develop strategies which is more effective and provides relevant information for making decisions better investment in the Sharia Banking sector.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether students’ reading comprehension can be improved by using the Folklore Story. The participants were 20 eleventh grade students. The researcher had carried out research during the pandemic, the number of students was limited by the school. The research employed true experimental and need pre-test and post-test to both experimental class and control class. The population of this research is students in the eleventh grade of Man 1 Palu. The students were selected randomly. They are 20 students of class XI MIA 1 as the experiment class and XI MIA 4 as a control class. The research analysed the data statistically data collection. The result of data analysis shows that the experimental class (86) is higher than the mean score of the control class (69). The deviation score of experimental class (8.75) is higher than of the control class (5.37). So, the result of t-counted (1.644) which is higher than t-table (0.081). in analyzing the data, the researcher used 0.05 level of significance and the degree of freedom (df=10+10-2) it means that the hypothesis of the research was accepted. Therefore, the Folklore Story can improve students’ reading comprehension.

Abstract

This research discusses about the use of Choral Reading in reading narrative text. The purpose of this research was to determine whether the choral reading technique affects students' pronunciation. The researcher used a quasi-experimental research design, the population in this research is class VIII Mts Alkahirat Alindau which consists of two classes, they are class 8A and 8B. In this research, class 8B as the Experimental Group by usinga purposive sampling technique. In the experimental class, the researcher gave a pre-test, treatment (choral reading), and post-test, while for the control class, only pretest and post-test without treatment. The researcher collected data through a reading test. From the calculation of the data it showed that the difference in students' scores on the pre-test and posttest with an average post-test score was higher than the average of pre-test score (67.06>30.26). This can be seen from the results obtained before and after the treatment, the score on post-test of experimental class was higher than the score on the pos-test of control group (67.0>51.2). In addition, the result showed that the t-counted was higher than the t-table (52.94>2084. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that the used of Choral Reading technique was affects the pronunciation of the 8th grade students of MTs Alkharat Alinda.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the using of choral reading technique to the eleventh grade students’ reading mastery at SMA Negeri 1 Kasimbar. The writer applied quasi experimental research design and need pre-test and post-test to both experimental and control class. The pre-test was to know the level of students’ reading mastery ability before giving treatment while the post-test was used to know the result after giving treatment. There was a significant difference score of the post-test of the experimental class (1.495) and the control class (1.235). The level of significance was set up 0,05 with 40 degree of freedom ( (df) = Nx + Ny = 21 + 21 + 40). The result of data analysis indicates that tcounted (3,729) which was higher than ttable, it means that the hypothesis of the research was accepted. Thus, there was significant influence of using choral reading technique to the eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Kasimbar.

Abstract

Modern Islamic education faces a serious challenge in the form of a spiritual crisis caused by an overemphasis on cognitive achievement and the neglect of moral and transcendental dimensions. This situation highlights the urgent need for a holistic, value-based educational model. This study aims to reconstruct the educational thought of Imam Al-Ghazali as a conceptual and practical solution to this issue. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through library research, the study analyzes Al-Ghazali’s authentic works alongside contemporary academic literature using interpretative and hermeneutic methods. The findings reveal that Al-Ghazali views education as a process of soul purification (tazkiyat an-nafs) aimed at forming complete individuals through the integration of reason (‘aql), heart (qalb), and action (‘amal). His educational framework rests on three key pillars: character formation, classification of knowledge into fardhu ‘ain (individual obligation) and fardhu kifayah (collective obligation), and a spiritually grounded teacher-student relationship. He also advocates for teaching methods based on moral exemplarity and self-reflection rather than rote memorization. Al-Ghazali’s ideas are highly relevant to contemporary Islamic education, which demands value-oriented, spiritually enriching, and contextually adaptive approaches. In conclusion, Al-Ghazali’s educational philosophy offers a solid foundation for designing an integrative Islamic education system capable of addressing modern spiritual challenges.

Abstract

Adolescents are young people aged 10-19 years who are susceptible to anemia. Anemia is one of the problems that still occurs in the world today. The World Health Organization (WHO) noted that more than 30% of the world's population suffers from anemia, with a prevalence of around 40-88% in developing countries, including Indonesia. Anemia can be treated non-pharmacologically by giving dates. Dates are fruits that provide many benefits for the body, one of which is to increase hemoglobin levels and treat anemia because dates are rich in calcium and iron. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of giving dates on increasing hemoglobin levels in female adolescents at SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir. This type of research is quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental Research Design with a Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample in the study was 25 people. Sampling used the Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis used the Dependent T test. The average result of the respondents' hemoglobin levels before and after giving dates was -2.79 with a standard deviation of 2.02 and a standard error of 4.53. The dependent T test obtained a P value = 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the p value <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving dates on increasing hemoglobin levels in female adolescents at SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir. It is expected that after the study, respondents can consume dates to increase hemoglobin levels and avoid the use of pharmacological drugs

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di SDN 2 Lalonggowuna kabupaten Konawe. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Lokasi penelitian di SDN 2 Lalonggowuna. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV, V dan VI di SDN 2 Lalonggowuna, sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas IV, V dan VI sebanyak 41 sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner (angket) pada peserta didik dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu tehnik analisis deskriptif, teknik analisis statistik inferensial: uji normalitas, dan uji linearitas; uji hipotesis penelitian (uji regresi linear sederhana). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel bimbingan orang tua berada dalam kategori tinggi dengan jumlah peserta didik 14 orang diperoleh sebesar 34% dan variabel motivasi belajar berada pada kategori tinggi dengan jumlah peserta didik 19 orang diperoleh sebesar 46%. Bimbingan orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif yang signifikan dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05, karena Thitung diperoleh sebesar 4,868 > nilai Ttabel (1,683), maka dengan demikian H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan orang tua (X) memiliki kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 37,8% terhadap motivasi belajar (Y) peserta didik kelas IV, V, dan VI di SD Negeri 2 Lalonggowuna Kabupaten Konawe dan selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in the material of recognizing Asmaul Husna and its meaning through the application of the Make A Match method in class IV of SD Negeri 085 Panyabungan. The background of this study began with the low learning outcomes of students, which were caused by the lack of variation in interesting learning methods, so that students were less active and quickly got bored during the learning process. To overcome this problem, the researcher applied the Make A Match method as one of the learning strategies that can improve student motivation and learning outcomes. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques are carried out through learning outcome tests, observation of student and teacher activities, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the application of the Make A Match method was able to improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the average student score in each cycle and the increase in student activity and enthusiasm during the learning process. Thus, the Make A Match method can be used as an effective alternative to improve student learning outcomes in understanding the material of Asmaul Husna and its meaning
