Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di tingkat SMP kini diharapkan dilaksanakan secara terpadu agar siswa memperoleh pemahaman secara holistik. Sementara itu di lapangan, pembelajaran IPA belum diajarkan secara terpadu. Tidak jarang juga bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh guru-guru SMP belum menyajikan IPA secara terpadu. Bahan ajar dari kajian fisika, kimia dan biologi yang disajikan secara terpisah. Bahan ajar memberikan ruang kepada siswa untuk belajar kapan saja dan dimana saja. Pembelajaran diharapkan dapat mengakomodir kesiapan, minat, serta profil siswa demi terwujudnya merdeka belajar. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang mampu mengakomodir kebutuhan siswa untuk mewujudkan merdeka belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian R & D ini adalah untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa modul IPA Terpadu tipe connected berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada materi lapisan Bumi kelas VII. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah dilakukan pengujian terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan kepada ahli materi, ahli media dan uji praktisi (guru dan siswa) menunjukkan kategori baik pada rentang nilai 75%-89%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design and develop physics teaching materials with a scientific approach that contain character values in fluid material for class XI science students, to find out the character values extracted from fluid materials, and to determine the results of the feasibility test of the teaching materials developed. This research uses the ADDIE development model. Religious, curiosity, discipline, social care, peace-loving, hardworking, independent, creative, caring for the natural environment, tolerance, responsibility, communicative, and honest are the character values extracted from the fluid aspects added to the teaching materials. The validity and practicality tests were conducted using a questionnaire instrument and analyzed using a Likert scale. The validity test was assessed by two material and media validators. Meanwhile, the practicality test was assessed by students of class X IPA SMA N 4 Kupang City, who were grouped into two, namely the small group test and the large group test. The results of the validity test of the material and media validators, respectively, obtained a percentage of 85.76% and 88.19% with very valid criteria. And the results of the practicality test based on the assessment of student responses to the developed teaching materials, namely the small group trial with a percentage of 88.03% and the large group test with a percentage of 89.17%, both of which included very practical criteria.

Abstract

Hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) solar cells with δ-doped p-layer have been fabricated using double chamber Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD). 10 % Silane (SiH4), diborane (B2H6) and phosphine (PH3) gases in hydrogen (H2) gas were used as gas sources. δ-Doped p-layer was deposited by using very thin boron layer as dopant source. Current (I) - voltage (V) characteristic measurement was done using xenon lamp as light source with power of 250 watts and voltage of 24 volts. The result shows that the efficiency of δ-doped p-i-n a-Si:H solar cell without annealing decreases from 5.39 % to 3.49 % as the illumination time increases from 0 hours to 2.5 hours. The stable efficiency obtained is3.6 %. It means that there is an efficiency drop of 33.15 %. Solar cell efficiency annealed at temperature of 150OC decreases from 8.59 % to 6.69 % as the illumination time increases from 0 hours to 2.5 hours. Its stable efficiency obtained is 7.11 %. It means that there is an efficiency drop of 17.23 %. Thus the annealing process decreases the efficiency drop.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the analysis of the use of the zoom cloud meeting application in Integrated Science learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at Citra Bangsa Christian Middle School. The research method in this study uses qualitative research methods. The research subjects consisted of 5 Integrated Science teachers and 20 class VIIIH students at Citra Bangsa Christian Middle School. Data and data sources are in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study used the following research instruments: a) questionnaire (questionnaire), b) interviews, and c) documentation. Data analysis techniques in complete research use three activity flows simultaneously, namely; data reducation; presentation of data; conclusion. The data reducation part of the students' questionnaire answers was analyzed using a Likert scale, presenting the data in narrative text. The results of the research are that the Integrated Science learning process at the Middle School during Covid-19 using the zoom cloud meeting application generally went well, but the most common obstacle was network problems. The data in this research conclude that the use of the zoom cloud meeting application is an effective and practical learning medium used in the Integrated Science learning process at Citra Bangsa Christian Middle School during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Socialization activities have been carried out regarding the application of iron sand nanomagnetic fertilizer (Fe3O4) on corn plants to the villagers of Pulau Semambu Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. This community service activity is part of the integration of the research results that have been carried out. From the results of the study, it was found that at the same growing age, corn added with nano-magnetic iron sand, both simaxx + nanomagnetic iron sand and silica + nanomagnetic iron sand, had a faster growth of about 100 cm compared to corn that was only given simaxx fertilizer. which is about 45-50 cm. Research results and observational data were then collected and analyzed to evaluate the effectiveness of using Fe3O4 nanomagnetic fertilizer on corn plants. Apart from being disseminated to corn farmers, research results are also used as teaching material to be conveyed to students in material physics courses. Integrating research results with community service activities and material physics lectures has increased the practical use of research results and provided wider benefits for society and students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties experienced by students in solving questions on heat material with Polya’s theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 28 students of class XI IPA4 SMA Negeri 4 Kota Kupang. The reseach instrument used were test questions and questionnaires. The results shown in this study, namely the difficuly of solving problems with polya’s theory, show that there are 67% of students having difficultyin in understanding the ploblems, 43% of students having difficulties in making plans, 67% of students experiencing problems in carrying out planning solutions to problems that have been solved. Made and 87% of students experienced problems in the re-checking stage.

Abstract

Simulations have been carried out to study the recrystallization of iron materials after heat treatment. The heat treatment carried out consists of heating the iron from room tempera-ture to critical temperature with different heating temperatures and cooling to room tem-perature with different cooling times. This study was carried out to obtain information on the occurrence of material recrystallization after the heat treatment process was carried out. This simulation approach was carried out using molecular dynamics methods and utilizing LAMMPS software. The heat treatment process begins by heating the iron from room temperature (300 K) until it reaches a critical temperature, even past the critical temperature value. Then a cooling process is carried out to observe the material recrystallization process. Through these two stages of heat treatment, analysis is carried out to observe the material structure at the end of the simulation. Based on the simulations that have been carried out, the results show that the ma-terial’s recrystallization is more influenced by the cooling time than the initial cooling tem-perature. More than 60% of the BCC structures formed at the end of the simulation for all initial cooling temperatures, but for very short cooling times 16% of the BCC.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in students ' critical thinking skills taught using the learning models of Numbered Heads Together and Group Investigation. This research was an experimental research with the design of randomized control group pre-Test post-Test design. Research conducted in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 5 Kupang. Data analysis was conducted using test-T. T test result with a significant level of 5% (α = 0.05) obtained the value of Sig (2-tailed) 0,006<0,05 so Ha accepted. It indicates that there are significant differences in critical thinking skills between students taught using Numbered Heads Together and Group Investigation learning models. The critical thinking ability of students taught using the Numbered Heads Together learning model is higher than the students taught using the Group Investigation learning model.

Abstract

Telah dilaksanakan kegiatan PPM yang merupakan integrasi  hasil penelitian smart garden berbasis IoT dengan perkuliahan mahasiswa Fisika dan pembelajaran Fisika pada siswa  MAN Insan Cendikia Ogan Komering Ilir Sumatera Selatan menggunakan metode pembelajaran case method. Dalam model pembelajaran ini mahasiswa diminta untuk menganalisis problem pertanian konvensional yaitu permasalahan kelembaban tanah, kelembaban udara, temperatur, pH tanah, dan cahaya, yang tidak dapat dikontrol kebutuhannya sehingga menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman. Untuk mengatasi problem tersebut, siswa kemudian diberi pembelajaran cara merancang smart garden menggunakan sensor berbasis IoT yang dapat bekerja secara otomatis dalam mendeteksi dan mengontrol secara realtime kelembaban tanah, kelmbaban udara, temperatur, pH tanah, dan cahaya yang dibutuhkan tanaman hanya menggunakan smartphone.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi sensor dan penggunaan teknologi internet of thing (IoT) pada smart garden memberikan kemudahan dalam mengontrol semua kebutuhan tanaman. Dari hasil pembelajaran diperoleh 88% siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata yang meningkat cukup siknifikan dari 81,1 pada saat pretest menjadi 86,7 pada saat posttest. Sementara itu 12% sisanya, nilai rata-rata siswa menunjukan hasil yang  cenderung konstan yaitu  sekitar 79. Dari kegiatan case method ini terlihat bahwa 80 – 90 % mahasiswa dan siswa memiliki pemahaman konsep yang baik tentang teknologi IoT pada pertanian modern. Oleh karena kontibusi penelitian ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep fisika elektronika dan instrumentasi,  pengukuran dan kalibrasi, serta keterampilan berbasis Teknologi. Selain itu penelitian ini juga dapat meningkatkan kemampua siswa dalam berpikir kritis, berkolaborasi, dan berkreasi

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive multimedia-based science practicum guide on dynamic electricity to enhance students' laboratory skills. The research method used in this study was research and development (RD), adapted from both Borg Gall’s and Alessi Trollip’s model. The multimedia product was designed to present the dynamic electricity topic with interactive visualization, equipped with easy-to-use navigation to assist students in conducting experiments. As a manual, the main content includes the practicum objectives, theoretical background, tools and materials, step-by-step procedures with animations, and practice questions with automatic assessment. This practicum guide offers three activities that users can choose from: measuring electric current, measuring voltage difference, and determining the relationship between electric current and voltage difference. The findings indicate that the developed practicum guide is highly feasible as a learning medium for 9th-grade students and effectively enhances their laboratory skills.
