Abstract

The Purbalingga Regency area has potential natural disaster risks that need to be identified and managed effectively. This research focuses on developing a Geographic Information System (GIS) to map areas prone to natural disasters in Purbalingga Regency. The main objective of this research is to provide reliable tools for related parties to understand, manage, and respond to potential natural disaster risks more efficiently. The research methodology involves the stages of spatial data analysis, natural disaster data collection, and integration of GIS technology. Thematic maps covering various types of natural disasters such as fires, landslides, and hurricanes were developed by considering topographic factors, rainfall, and disaster history. In addition, this map is equipped with detailed information such as the location of evacuation sites, evacuation routes, and other critical facilities. This system is implemented as a web-based application that can be accessed by authorities, disaster management agencies, and the general public. This application allows users to explore interactive maps, access disaster-related information, and facilitate disaster mitigation planning. With the GIS mapping of areas prone to natural disasters, it is hoped that Purbalingga Regency can increase preparedness and response to potential natural disasters, involve active community participation in mitigation efforts, and reduce the impact caused by natural disasters in the future

Abstract

Growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) has become one of the important indicators in measuring the economic progress of a region. The research is aimed at conducting an analysis of the spread of UMKM in Semarang City using the Geographical Information System (GIS). This method allows the integration of geographical data with UMKM information, so that it can provide a more comprehensive picture of the number of UMK in different regions in semarang City. The Geographic Information System is used to mapp and analyze the patterns of the distribution of UMKL in Semang City. This study uses data that covers the location of the UMKM, and the number. The spatial analysis will provide insight into the diversity of UMM in different districts or regions. This Geographic Information System approach makes an important contribution to data visualization and interpretation

Abstract

Diarrhea is a disease of major concern throughout the world. Diarrhea is still a big problem for public health in developing countries, including Indonesia. Tegal Regency itself is also facing cases of this diarrheal disease, it can be seen from the data that cases in Tegal Regency District have decreased from 2020 to 2022. Margasari District shows that the number of cases in 2020 was 1481 and experienced a decrease in 2021 to 2022 by 1208 (2021) and 1131 (2022). Meanwhile, Slawi District itself recorded a rise and fall in the number of diarrhea cases. This needs to be highlighted to improve prevention programs so that diarrheal disease does not continue to increase. Research methods are processes or steps for collecting scientific information. This research focuses more on spatial analysis of the maps created and cartographic aspects. The data collection method in this research uses secondary data from BPS Tegal Regency. This data will be entered into Quantum GIS software to obtain a map image that shows the desired information. The Geographic Information System approach can provide information about the factors and causes of diarrheal disease. It is necessary to collaborate between various sectors to provide health services for the community and increase awareness of the increase in cases of diarrhea in work areas that are far from the reach of services. In this way, it is hoped that it can reduce the incidence of diarrheal disease in Tegal Regency and improve overall public health

Abstract

The development of information technology, especially Geographic Information Systems (GIS), has made a significant contribution to improving tourism services in various regions. This research aims to analyze the level of user satisfaction with the GIS-based Pati Regency Tourism Interactive Map Application. The research method was carried out through collecting survey data from application users which involved respondents from various levels of society. This application is designed to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information regarding tourism destinations, facilities and travel routes in Pati Regency. Users can take advantage of interactive features to plan tourist trips more efficiently. Using questionnaires and interviews, this research evaluates user satisfaction with the user interface, information availability, data accuracy, and ease of use of the application.

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer information system used to process and store spatial data or information. The aim of this research is to produce a geographic information system that maps the number of vehicles in Central Java Province from 2019 to 2021. The method used in this research involves collecting vehicle census data from related sources such as Central Java Province. . Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and spatial data as well as the number of vehicles from 2019 to 2021 in Regencies or Cities in Central Java Province. Digitalization of Mapping using Quantum GIS software. The results of this research are expected to provide a better understanding of vehicle distribution and volume trends vehicles in Central Java Province from 2019 to 2021. This information can be used for various purposes such as traffic planning, infrastructure development and reducing traffic congestion. The geographic information system that maps the number of vehicles in Central Java Province is expected to provide significant benefits for the government, researchers and the general public to make better decisions regarding traffic and traffic problems in the region.

Abstract

Smoking is a high-risk habit for health, which is difficult to give up in Indonesia due to the large number of smokers and the general prevalence of smoking. Even though the age limit for cigarette consumption has been set, there are still children aged 15 years who are involved in smoking. Therefore, this study proposes the use of a Geographic Information System to map the Web-Based Percentage of Smoking in Population Aged ≥ 15 Years in Indonesia, by utilizing Quantum GIS software as a smoking prevalence survey tool. The method used in this research is the GIS Development Guide Method. Using this method, the research will collect smoking prevalence data from 34 provinces in Indonesia to identify different smoking patterns in certain regions.

Abstract

Health Service Map Information System (SIPLK) is a web application that provides spatial and non-spatial information about health services in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to find out the utilization of SIPLK in improving access and quality of health services in Indonesia, especially in Central Java province. The method used is descriptive quantitative using secondary data from the Central Java Statistics Agency. The data analyzed are the data on the distribution of public health workers (TKM) in Central Java province in 2019-2021. The results of the study show that SIPLK can be used as a tool in planning, monitoring, and evaluating health services in Indonesia. The utilization of SIPLK can help health stakeholders in planning, allocating, and distributing TKM according to the needs and conditions of the community. This study recommends that SIPLK can be further developed by adding features that can enhance its function and benefit for users, such as search, filter, recommendation, and interaction features.

Abstract

Flooding is a condition where the intensity of rainfall is very high and the water cannot be accommodated in the rivers in Pati Regency or the flow of water in the drainage channel is blocked, so that it overflows and inundates the surrounding area (flood plain). This research aims to analyze and determine the level of flood vulnerability based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), especially in relation to areas concentrated along rivers in Pati Regency. The method used in this research uses primary data collection and secondary data by obtaining data in the form of documents, literature from related agencies or books that support research.

Abstract

he spread of HIV remains a significant public health issue globally, including in Indonesia. This study focuses on mapping the prevalence of HIV in the districts of Solo City from 2021 to 2023 using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. Employing QGIS software, spatial analysis was conducted to create thematic maps showcasing the annual distribution of HIV prevalence across districts. The findings reveal a consistent increase in HIV prevalence over the three years, with Banjarsari and Jebres districts recording the highest rates. This spatial distribution correlates strongly with population density and urbanization levels. The study emphasizes the importance of targeted interventions, including regular health screenings, education programs, and equitable healthcare access to curb the spread of HIV in high-risk areas. The results serve as a scientific foundation for policymakers to enhance HIV prevention and management strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize QGIS as a spatial analysis tool to map the distribution of divorces based on economic factors and disputes in Surakarta City during the 2020–2023 period. The data used includes spatial data in the form of Surakarta City's administrative map in shapefile format and non-spatial data comprising the number of divorces obtained from BPS Surakarta. Non-spatial data were integrated into spatial data using the "join attribute" feature in QGIS. The analysis process was conducted using classification methods to identify areas with the highest divorce density. The findings reveal that divorces due to economic factors are concentrated in low-income areas, such as Banjarsari and Jebres, while divorces caused by disputes exhibit a more evenly distributed pattern. The thematic maps were then exported into GeoJSON format for implementation on an interactive website accessible to the public and policymakers. This study contributes to the utilization of GIS technology in supporting data-driven decision-making.
