Introduction: Illegal logging is a critical issue that harms the environment, economy, and society. This activity results in forest degradation, increases the risk of natural disasters, and undermines the economic potential of sustainable natural resource management.Purposes of the Research: This study aims to analyze the environmental impacts of illegal logging and the penalties imposed on offenders under applicable laws.Methods of the Research: The study employs a normative juridical method, focusing on the legal framework surrounding illegal logging. The analysis highlights the environmental and economic consequences of illegal logging and evaluates the effectiveness of law enforcement measures.Results of the Research: Illegal logging leads to environmental degradation, including heightened risks of flooding and landslides due to soil instability and reduced water absorption. Economically, it diminishes potential revenue from sustainably managed natural resources. Offenders may face sanctions such as fines, compensation, and rehabilitation costs. Strong law enforcement and collaboration between the government, NGOs, communities, and the private sector are essential for effective forest protection.

This study aims to explore data collection strategies in qualitative and quantitative research, with a focus on comparing methods used by academics. In the context of academic research, data collection is a crucial aspect that determines the validity and reliability of findings. This study uses a descriptive-analytical approach by analyzing various academic theses published in 2023. The results show that the qualitative method tends to use in-depth interviews and participatory observation, while the quantitative method predominantly uses surveys and experiments. Furthermore, significant variation was found in the selection of methods, influenced by the field of study and research objectives. This study provides practical insights for researchers in selecting data collection methods that align with their research needs

This research focuses on understanding the relationship or relevance between multicultural education and Islam. Likewise, this research aims to explore and understand the relevance of the values and principles of multicultural education to Islam. This research also emphasizes that multicultural education harmonises with Islamic values and principles. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, namely descriptive research emphasising analysis. The methodology of this research is a literature study. Multicultural education in Islam aims to create intelligent, religious, creative, educated individuals and accept society's diversity. Multicultural values are Islamic values, including tauhid, ummah, rahmah, musawah, tasamuh, tadhamun, ta'awun and kinship. Multicultural principles in Islam include pluralism, equality, and modesty in diversity. The relationship between Islamic beliefs and multicultural education is discussed in this article. Multicultural education shares many principles and characteristics with Islam and is closely related. Multicultural education is the basis for all educational components to foster an atmosphere of openness, tolerance, and mutual respect and develop students' character so they are ready to solve problems that arise in a pluralistic society.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis materi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang sesuai dengan pendekatan behavioral dan kognitif sosial. Pendekatan behavioral, yang berakar pada teori pembelajaran Pavlov dan Skinner, menekankan pada perubahan perilaku melalui penguatan positif, penguatan negatif, dan pembiasaan. Sementara itu, pendekatan kognitif sosial, yang dipengaruhi oleh teori Bandura, menitikberatkan pada proses belajar melalui observasi, model, dan interaksi sosial. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif terhadap materi pembelajaran PAI yang terdapat dalam kurikulum sekolah. Data diambil dari berbagai sumber bahan ajar, buku teks, dan modul yang digunakan oleh guru PAI. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip behavioral dan kognitif sosial, serta mengevaluasi efektivitas materi dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang komprehensif dan interaktif. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi pembelajaran PAI yang efektif memerlukan integrasi kedua pendekatan tersebut untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengamalan nilai-nilai agama Islam di kalangan siswa. Materi yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan behavioral mampu membentuk perilaku religius yang konsisten melalui pengulangan dan penguatan, serta pendekatan kognitif sosial membantu siswa dalam memahami nilai-nilai tersebut melalui contoh nyata dan pengalaman interaktif.
