Abstract

Every stakeholder needs to take action to prevent child sexual abuse because the number of cases of this type in children grows year, raising concerns among parents, families, schools, and communities about the future of their children. To stop sexual assault against children, we created an Islamic parenting guidebook. The goal of this project is to stop child sexual abuse by giving parents access to Islamic parenting guides and other material that will facilitate their Islamic upbringing and education. This will help them steer clear of undesirable things, like child sexual abuse. Parents whose children had been sexually abused were the study's subjects. Development research is the term for this kind of study. Using the ADDIE development models, researchers create booklets (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, evaluation). In order to gather data, three types of instruments are used: booklet validation tools, practical questionnaires, and effectiveness questionnaires. To ascertain the validity and applicability of employing percentage formulae, as well as the effectiveness of using formulas N Gain Score, data gathering procedures employ observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies. Islamic parenting-based pamphlets are deserving of use since, according to the findings of the validation test conducted by linguists, designers, and material experts, the content is 95.17 percent valid. In terms of practicality, 92.4 percent fell into the category of somewhat practical. The Islamic parenting-based booklet can improve parents' awareness of education and parenting children to avoid sexual assault against children, as evidenced by the criteria's 64.4 percent effectiveness test, which indicates that it is effective.

Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mempromosikan toleransi di kawasan Asia Tenggara yang dikenal memiliki keberagaman budaya, etnis, dan agama. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis literatur untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana pendidikan multikultural dapat menjadi sarana efektif dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang inklusif dan damai. Artikel ini mengulas konsep pendidikan multikultural, tantangan penerapannya, serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan toleransi antar kelompok masyarakat di negara-negara Asia Tenggara seperti Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Filipina dan sebagainya. Multicultural education has a significant role in promoting tolerance in the Southeast Asian region, which is known for its cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature analysis method to explore how multicultural education can effectively create an inclusive and peaceful society. This article reviews the concept of multicultural education, the challenges of its implementation, and its impact on increasing tolerance between community groups in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and so on.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang inklusif dan anti-diskriminasi dapat dicapai melalui pendidikan multikultural. Integrasi sosial dan perkembangan pribadi siswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh diskriminasi berbasis sekolah, terlepas dari dasar ras, agama, budaya, atau status sosial ekonomi. Dengan penekanan pada peran kepemimpinan pendidik dalam membangun program pendidikan multikultural, penelitian ini berusaha untuk memeriksa bagaimana sekolah dapat secara strategis menggunakan pendekatan ini untuk memerangi prasangka. Metodologi kualitatif berdasarkan pendekatan studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran keberagaman siswa dan jumlah kejadian prasangka keduanya sangat meningkat dengan penggunaan pendidikan multikultural secara sistematis. Efektivitas upaya memasukkan nilai-nilai multikultural ke dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bergantung pada guru yang secara proaktif mengambil posisi kepemimpinan dalam hal ini. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan multikultural, dengan kepemimpinan guru yang kuat, dapat membantu menciptakan iklim sekolah yang lebih adil dan damai dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan khusus bagi guru untuk memperkuat peran mereka dalam mendukung keberagaman. An inclusive and anti-discriminatory educational climate may be achieved via multicultural education. Students' social integration and personal development can be impacted by school-based discrimination, regardless of its basis in race, religion, culture, or socioeconomic status. With an emphasis on educators' leadership roles in establishing multicultural education programs, this research seeks to examine how schools might strategically employ this approach to combat prejudice. A qualitative methodology based on a case study approach is utilized in this research. The results show that students' diversity awareness and the number of occurrences of prejudice are both greatly improved by the systematic use of multicultural education. The effectiveness of efforts to include multicultural values into the curriculum and extracurricular activities hinges on teachers who proactively assume leadership positions in this regard. Thus, this study found that multicultural education, with strong teacher leadership, can help create a more equitable and peaceful school climate in the long run. It recommends specialized training for teachers to strengthen their roles in promoting diversity.

Abstract

This research focuses on understanding the relationship or relevance between multicultural education and Islam. Likewise, this research aims to explore and understand the relevance of the values and principles of multicultural education to Islam. This research also emphasizes that multicultural education harmonises with Islamic values and principles. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, namely descriptive research emphasising analysis. The methodology of this research is a literature study. Multicultural education in Islam aims to create intelligent, religious, creative, educated individuals and accept society's diversity. Multicultural values are Islamic values, including tauhid, ummah, rahmah, musawah, tasamuh, tadhamun, ta'awun and kinship. Multicultural principles in Islam include pluralism, equality, and modesty in diversity. The relationship between Islamic beliefs and multicultural education is discussed in this article. Multicultural education shares many principles and characteristics with Islam and is closely related. Multicultural education is the basis for all educational components to foster an atmosphere of openness, tolerance, and mutual respect and develop students' character so they are ready to solve problems that arise in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges faced by SDN 75 Bengkulu City in addressing student learning issues in the digital era. Digital era brings significant changes to the educational studies, including wider access to information and more interactive learning methods. However, challenges such as the digital divide, teachers' readiness, and students' adaptation to online learning remain significant obstacles. This research adopts a qualitative approach with interviews and field observations, as well as document analysis related to education policies. The findings indicate that while there have been considerable efforts to integrate technology into the learning process, the main challenges lie in limited infrastructure and teachers' ability to fully utilize technology. Therefore, continuous training for teachers and improvements in school technological facilities are essential to facilitate more effective learning.

Abstract

The religiosity-based guidance and counseling module is an effort to overcome low academic integrity among students. In providing services, counselors are very dependent on textbooks available at school, and they have minimal other teaching materials. The research aims to determine the use of a religiosity-based counseling guidance module that is valid, practical, and effective. This study is quantitative research using the experimental research design. Product trials were carried out by 112 students of bengkulu city Public Junior High School, selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The data collection instruments are validation, practicality, and effectiveness instruments in the form of student response questionnaires. The research results showed that there was a significant difference between the pre-and post-test results in both the experimental group and control group trials. Where the average student score increased after using the religiosity-based counseling guidance module. Therefore, the results of this research can be said to be effective in presenting the results, namely 61.4 on the criteria of being quite effective, so that the module developed can improve students' academic integrity.

Abstract

Penanaman nilai-nilai moderasi agama pada siswa SMP menjadi sangat penting untuk membentuk karakter yang toleran, seimbang, dan berpikir terbuka. Dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan pluralisme, siswa perlu dibekali dengan pemahaman agama yang tidak ekstrem dan mampu menghargai perbedaan. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui konseling keluarga, yang melibatkan orang tua sebagai lingkungan pertama dalam proses pendidikan moral dan agama pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali cara-cara efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi agama pada siswa SMP melalui pendekatan konseling keluarg. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi dengan jumlah informan 25 orang. Panduan wawancara berisi daftar pertanyaan bersifat terbuka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap ajaran agama yang moderat, mempererat hubungan keluarga, serta mengurangi potensi radikalisasi. Diharapkan, penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan program pendidikan yang lebih inklusif dan harmonis bagi generasi muda.

Abstract

Background: Every parent expects the presence of a child, ideally one who is perfect and without shortcomings. However, the reality is that some children are born with disabilities, which requires special attention in their development, especially in preparing them for future careers. Objective: This study aims to determine the role of SMALB (Sekolah Menengah Atas Luar Biasa) in Bengkulu City in providing career guidance services to students with disabilities. Method: The research utilized a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to deeply understand the lived experiences of students. The study was conducted at Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri (SLBN) 01 Bengkulu City in 2022. Fourteen students participated as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles & Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Result: The findings revealed that career guidance at the SMALB level in SLBN 01 Bengkulu City was conducted using an individualized approach tailored to each student's needs. The demonstration method was predominantly applied, and the overall guidance process was instructive in nature, emphasizing practical skills and one-on-one instruction to facilitate learning and development. Conclusion: Career guidance at SLBN 01 Bengkulu City emphasizes inclusive, personalized support to empower students with disabilities in pursuing careers that match their abilities and interests. Contribution: his study enriches limited research on career guidance for students with disabilities in Indonesia, highlighting the value of individualized approaches and offering insights for improving inclusive education policies and practices.

Abstract

Menurunnya motivasi kerja pada seseorang yang mengalami fase quarter life crisis, ini memberikan dampak buruk bagi dirinya, dan lingkungan sekitar. hilangnya motivasi hidup, menarik diri dari pergaulan, khawatir berlebihan tentang masa depan merupakan ciri-ciri quarter life crisis, oleh karena itu seorang individu membutuhkan suatu keyakinan kepada tuhan untuk agar mereka bisa menjadikan dirinya sebagai individu yang memiliki motivasi, kedamaian dalam jiwa, berani untuk maju. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan spiritualitas terhadap motivasi kerja pada dewasa awal yang menghadapi fase quarter life crisis di kelurahan Padang Jati Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan korelasional dengan pengambilan sampel sebanyak 150 orang, dengan kriteria seseorang yang dewasa awal atau berusia 20 hingga 30 tahun dan bekerja sebagai karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanyakorelasi sebesar 0,532 dengan taraf signifikan 0,00 menunjukkan bahwa hubungan positif yang signifikan antara spiritualitas terhadap motivasi kerja yang cukup kuat dengan nilai R square 0,283 atau 28,3% spiritualitas dapat memberikan sumbangsih terhadap peningkatan terhadap motivasi kerja.

Abstract

Abstract Many adult women consider maintaining a healthy life through physical activities because help to release and control the emotion. However, there is no recent research about integrating Islamic values into physical and emotional for adult Muslim women. Based on the explanation, demonstrating how physical and spiritual aspects involve emotion is important. This study aims to explore the description of emotional regulation and analyze Islamic values ​​in the emotional regulation of adult women involved in physical fitness activities. Five informants were involved in this study. The data collection methods were in a form of observation, interviews, and documentation focused on strategy, negative emotions, control, and emotional responses. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's analysis techniques to identify themes related to Islamic values ​​and emotional regulation. The results showed that physical fitness activities can potentially increase positive emotional regulation and physical health in adult women. Islamic values help participants face emotional challenges, increase self-awareness, and develop adaptive coping strategies. This study also found that physical fitness can allow adult women to apply Islamic values ​​in everyday life. Specifically, the gym trainer and the members can pray before training activities, meditate, practice patience, ask for forgiveness, and perform gratitude exercises. Moreover, the implication of this study is the importance of integrating Islamic values ​​in physical fitness programs, such as patience training, gratitude to Allah, surrendering to Allah, guarding gaze and tongue, sincerity and modesty by providing women-only sessions to support the emotional well-being of adult Muslim women.   Abstrak Banyak wanita dewasa menyadari pentingnya menjaga kesehatan melalui aktivitas fisik karena membantu melepaskan dan mengendalikan emosi. Namun, belum ada penelitian tentang pengintegrasian nilai Islam ke dalam aspek fisik dan emosional bagi wanita muslim dewasa. Hal ini menunjukkan peran aspek fisik dan spiritual dalam regulasi emosi penting untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi deskripsi regulasi emosi dan menganalisis nilai Islam dalam regulasi emosi wanita dewasa yang terlibat dalam aktivitas kebugaran jasmani dengan melibatkan lima informan Metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang difokuskan pada strategi, emosi negatif, kontrol, dan respons emosional. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis Miles dan Huberman untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema yang terkait dengan nilai Islam dan regulasi emosi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas kebugaran jasmani berpotensi meningkatkan regulasi emosi positif dan kesehatan fisik pada wanita dewasa. Nilai Islam membantu partisipan menghadapi tantangan emosional, meningkatkan kesadaran diri, dan mengembangkan strategi pengendalian emosi yang adaptif. Kebugaran jasmani dapat memungkinkan wanita dewasa menerapkan nilai Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Secara khusus, pelatih dan anggota berdoa sebelum latihan, bermeditasi, melatih kesabaran, memohon ampunan (istighfar), dan melatih rasa syukur. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya mengintegrasikan nilai Islam dalam program kebugaran jasmani, seperti latihan kesabaran, rasa syukur, berserah diri kepada Allah, menjaga pandangan dan lisan, keikhlasan dan kesopanan dengan menyediakan sesi khusus wanita untuk mendukung kesehatan emosional wanita muslim dewasa.
