Abstract

In this paper the writer discusses the function of students’ self management in understanding Islamic learning and tries to relate it with general management function as a controlling system in learning.  The indicators of students’ self management function will be seen in the following learning process such as the ability to set the goal of learning, monitor and evaluate the learning activity, and provide self reinforcement. Furthermore, it will also discuss about the implementation of student’s self management through some indicator; students, school and institution in applying learning management. Abstract

Abstract: The lecturers' teaching methods and competencies vary at IAIN Bukittinggi so that it is important to know the correlation of the lecturers’ teaching methods and competencies to the students’ learning achievement at IAIN Bukittinggi. The method used of this research was quantitative method with ex post facto design. This research involved all lecturers and students of IAIN Bukittinggi as population and the sample was consisted of 40 people. The instrument used to collect the data was closed-questionnaire. The data were processed by scoring and inferential analyzing. The finding indicated that most of the lecturers at IAIN Bukittinggi applied lecture, question-answer, discussion, assignment, and problem solving methods. It was also found that the correlation of the lecturers’ teaching methods and competencies to the students’ achievement was only 2.8%. Therefore, there was low correlation of the lecturers’ teaching methods and competencies to the students’ achievement in IAIN Bukittinggi.Abstrak: Metode dan kompetensi mengajar dosen bervariasi di IAIN Bukittinggi sehingga penting untuk mengetahui hubungan antara metode pengajaran dan kompetensi dosen dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa di IAIN Bukittinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Penelitian ini melibatkan semua dosen dan mahasiswa IAIN Bukittinggi sebagai populasi dan sampel terdiri dari 40 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah kuesioner tertutup. Data diproses dengan penilaian dan analisis inferensial. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar dosen di IAIN Bukittinggi menerapkan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, penugasan, dan pemecahan masalah. Ditemukan juga bahwa korelasi antara metode pengajaran dan kompetensi dosen dengan prestasi belajar siswa hanya 2,8%. Oleh karena itu, ada korelasi yang rendah antara metode pengajaran dan kompetensi dosen dengan prestasi siswa di IAIN Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Penerapan metode pemodelan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII di MTsN 2 Kota Bengkulu dan  faktor penghambat dan pendukung penerapan metode pemodelan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII di MTsN 2 Kota Bengkulu. Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII di MTsN 2 Kota Bengkulu dan mendeskrisikan apakah prinsip-prinsip metode pemodelan sudah diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa pada siswa kelas VIII di MTsN 2 Kota Bengkulu.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pengumpulan data, proses pelaksanaan, tahapan-tahapan, dan tahap evaluasi penerapan metode pemodelan. Subjek penelitianya yaitu guru dan siswa kelas VIII A MTsN 2 KOTA Bengkulu. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui proses Triagulasi sumber data dan Triagulasi Teknik. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Penerapan Metode Pemodelan dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Puisi pada Siswa kelas VIII MTsN 2 Kota Bengkulu dapat dikatakan terlaksana dengan baik, dan berjalan dengan semestinya. Hal ini dapat dilihat evaluasi hasil belajar siswa yang diatas rata-rata walaupun ada sebagian siswa yang hasil puisinya kurang menarik. Evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan dengan penugasan untuk menulis puisi, adapun aspek yang di evaluasi yaitu tulisan yang dihasilkan oleh para siswa berupa kesesuaian isi, judul, kerapian, penggunaan majas dan penggunaan diksi.Kata Kunci: menulis, puisi, metodepemodelan

Abstract

Background of the problem raised in this research was how the form of feminism and the role of feminism in the novel Jatisaba by Ramadya Akmal. The purpose of this study was to find out how the form of feminism and the role of feminism in the novel Jatisaba by Ramadya Akmal. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative method, and the approach used in this research was the literary criticism approach of feminism. The data source was the novel Jatisaba by Rmadya Akmal. The data collected in the form of words and quotes. Data collection techniques was in the form of library techniques. The data validity technique was focused on trust testing which consists of two activities, namely increasing persistence and using reference materials. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of this study were that the form of feminism and the role of feminism found in the novel Jatiaba by Ramadya Akmal, which was in the form of feminism in the novel, told about a village called Jatisaba, the majority of the population of this village are Indonesian Labor, many Indonesian labor brokers enter the village, one of which was Mae. Many villagers had been victims of violence during their time as migrant workers, both physical and non-physical. The researcher could conclude that women in Jatisaba village experience a lot of physical and non-physical violence. Mae and other Indonesian labor brokers only took advantage of the existing conditions in the village.

Abstract

Pancasila students are a subset of Indonesian students who have global competence and character as defined by Pancasila values across six major dimensions. This study is a literature review that employs the SLR method, which consists of six stages: planning, literature search, criteria assessment (inclusion and exclusion), quality assessment, data collection, and data analysis. The purpose of this research is to learn about the history, steps, and challenges associated with implementing P5. The data analysis results show that P5 implementation is carried out to produce Indonesian students who are competent, have character, and behave in accordance with Pancasila values. P5 consists of four steps: 1) Understanding the Independent Curriculum Outline; 2) Understanding Learning and Assessment; 3) Recognize the evolution of the educational unit's operational curriculum in the Independent Curriculum; and 4) Recognize the evolution of a project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile. Obstacles to implementing P5 are more prevalent in teachers, who are the primary component in shaping the character of Indonesian students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the implementation of moral education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 (MIN 2) Bengkulu City and the factors that support and hinder it. Implementation of informants in this study were the head and vice principal of the school, teachers, students, and parents while the instruments used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and it was found that MIN 2 is a school that prioritizes moral education where the success of education is seen from how far students implement morals in their lives. Some of the steps taken by this school are conducting Tahfizul Quran education, guidance in wudhu, prayer and dzikir as well as adab guidance: in science assemblies, during recess, to the canteen, eating and drinking, in the school environment, returning home, and at home. The factors that support this success are a strong commitment from the school, teachers and foundations as well as the existence of clear technical instructions for the implementation of guidance. However, there is an inhibiting factor, namely sometimes there is still a lack of cooperation between parents and the school

Abstract

Most teachers still apply conventional lecture methods and do not utilize positive behavioral reinforcement techniques or interactive social learning models in Islamic Religious Education learning, so that students' critical thinking skills and ability to connect religious teachings with the context of everyday life are underdeveloped. Recent research shows that these two approaches complement each other in creating an effective and adaptive learning process to the needs of today's students. To see and understand it, by using a qualitative approach, namely descriptive research with a focus on analysis, the author conducted a study. This study uses a literature review as its approach. By reading, recording, analyzing, and utilizing library data collection methods. After being collected, the data is analyzed using a methodology that begins with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Both of these approaches have an influence on learning and behavior. However, while behaviorism emphasizes the importance of reinforcement and punishment from the external environment, social cognitive theory emphasizes how individuals actively process and assess information received from their environment. These behavioristic and social cognitive approaches complement each other in Islamic Religious Education learning. The behavioral approach helps understand how behavior can be shaped through external stimuli, while the social cognitive approach explains how internal factors such as thoughts, emotions, and social experiences influence behavior.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges and solutions of Islamic educational psychology in the digital age, focusing on three core issues: digital distraction, exposure to negative content, and limited teacher digital literacy. Through qualitative literature review and thematic content analysis, the research identifies that gadget addiction and social media/gaming platforms disrupt students' learning focus, moral development, and mental health, contradicting Islamic principles like the preservation of al-'aql (intellect). Educators' unpreparedness to integrate technology with Islamic values further hinders faith-based learning effectiveness. Proposed solutions include: (1) Developing Islamic-based technological platforms (e.g., "TafsirAI") integrating Quran-Hadith content with TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) frameworks; (2) Digital moral education via creative media (e.g., animated Prophet stories) to enhance intrinsic motivation grounded in ihsan (excellence); and (3) Multisector collaboration (education institutions-digital platforms) to filter harmful content. These strategies aim to balance technological advancement with Islamic values, fostering academically proficient, digitally resilient, and ethically grounded students. The study underscores the need for holistic approaches to digital disruption, while acknowledging limitations in sample scope and calling for further research across diverse educational levels.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to analyze the magnitude of the influence of the Continuous Professional Development Program (PKB) on the competence of elementary school teachers in Bengkulu City. (2) to analyze the magnitude of the influence of the Continuous Professional Development Program (PKB) on the Pedagogy of Elementary School Teachers in Bengkulu City. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research, the research instrument used is a questionnaire, the data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, basic assumption tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression, t-test. Research Results: (1) There is an influence of the Continuous Professional Development Program (PKB) on the Professional Competence of Elementary School Teachers in Bengkulu City as shown in the calculated t (2.053) > t table (5% = 1.70) and the significance level is 0.046 < 0.05. So this test shows that Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence of the Continuous Professional Development Program (PKB) on the Professional Competence of Bengkulu City. (2) There is an influence of the Continuous Professional Development Program (PKB) on the pedagogy of PAI teachers in Public Elementary Schools in Bengkulu City as shown in the calculated t (2.862) > t table (5% = 1.70) and a significance level of 0.007 < 0.05. So this test shows that Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence of the continuous professional development program (PKB) on the pedagogy of PAI teachers in Public Elementary Schools in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pesatnya kemajuan teknologi, penggunaan gadget telah menjadi bagian integral, terutama dalam lingkungan keluarga. Setiap lapisan masyarakat termasuk anak-anak telah terpengaruh oleh era modern, yang ditandai oleh meluasnya produk-produk digital seperti gadget. Perkembangan anak usia dini terpengaruh oleh gawai secara beragam dan kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap emosi anak usia dini di lingkungan RT 06 Gunung Ayu Bengkulu Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian yang akan memberikan manfaat jangka panjang. Analisis regresi dan metode kuantitatif ex-post facto digunakan dalam metodologi penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak usia dini (3–6 tahun) yang berdomisili di RT 06 Gunung Ayu, Bengkulu Selatan, sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa respons emosional anak terhadap penggunaan gadget dipengaruhi sebesar 13,5%, dengan koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,135 (13,5%). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sejauh mana penggunaan gawai oleh anak memengaruhi emosinya adalah sebesar 13,5%, sedangkan sisanya 86,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel (faktor) lain.
