Abstract

This study aims to describe the experience of female sex workers (FSWs) living with HIV in Indonesia during the care and treatment cascade, including the challenges and support associated with them. It was initiated by a trained community study team from OPSI, a national network for FSW community in the country. A mixed-method design was used, consisting of a cross-sectional survey and qualitative interviews conducted in four large cities in May and June 2019. Quantitative data were collected from 80 FSWs living with HIV, while qualitative interviews were conducted for 9 FSWs previously involved in the survey. Most of the FSWs were diagnosed with HIV at facility-based HIV testing services. While most FSWs delayed initiating their treatment, majority eventually commenced it. Overall treatment retention was fairly good, but some were being inconsistent or even stopped. However, individuals that have access to viral load test was low, leading to a small number of those confirming their viral suppression status. Conclusively, interventions directed to strengthen individuals’ literacy in HIV treatment and stigma management is recommended, as well as identification of maximum potential support systems around the FSWs.

Abstract

Kreativitas seorang guru dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan harus senantiasa ditingkatkan. Penyajian materi bahasa Arab untuk jenjang MI harus diberikan dalam berbagai bentuk penyajian yang tidak harus terikat dengan buku pelajaran khususnya materi al-Mufradat. Media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk siswa dalam mempelajari al-Mufradat salahsatunya menggunakan quizlet. Quizlet merupakan situs web yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk mempelajari kosakata melalui set flashcard menggunakan berbagai alat pembelajaran seperti permainan yang dapat diakses melalui smartphone Android. Flashcard yang disuguhkan Quizlet memudahkan user untuk dapat berinteraksi, bekerja sama, dan berbagi flashcard dengan user lainnya. Terdapat beberapa fitur Quizlet diantaranya: Flashcard, Pelajari (Learn), Tulis (Write), Pengeja (Spell), Tes (Test), Mencocokkan (Match), Gravitasi (Gravity), dan Live: Quizlet Live. Quizlet memiliki beberapa kelebihan jika digunakan untuk media pembelajaran khusunya pembelajaran al-Mufradat, diantaranya: Quizlet tidak berbayar, belajar sambil bermain, diakses melalui smartphone, serta Quizlet menjembatani antara para peserta didik dengan gaya belajar visual, audio-visual, maupun kinestetik.Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran; Kartu Bergambar; E-Flashcard; Quizlet; Pembelajaran Mufrodat

Abstract

This research was knowing the use of applicating approach science technology community toward students learning result and students affective abilities. The research designs were non equivalent pretest – posttest. The research sample were students in IXA and IXB class that was selected by purposive sampling technique. The qualitative data was gotten by students affective abilities and questionnaire of students, that were analyzed descriptive. The quantitative data were the average score of test, that was analyzed by t-test and U-test. The result showed that the students affective (asking questions, proposing an opinion, working together, convince in answering questions) achieve an average of 80% which is in good criteria. Beside that the students learning outcomes also develop, with N-gain average score was 74.42. The students also gives positive responses to applicating approach STC. Thus, it can be concluded that the used of approach STC increase with of students learning result and students affective abilities in application of biotechnology.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) terhadap hasil belajar dan kemampuan afektif siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IXA dan IXB yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kualitatif berupa kemampuan afektif siswa, dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan afektif siswa yaitu mengajukan pertanyaan, mengusulkan pendapat, bekerjasama, dan meyakinkan dalam menjawab pertanyaan mencapai rata-rata yaitu 80% berkriteria baik. Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain 74.42. Selain itu, semua siswa memberikan tanggapan positif yaitu senang terhadap penggunaan pendekatan STM. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan STM berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dan kemampuan afektif siswa pada materi penerapan bioteknologi.Kata kunci : bioteknologi, hasil belajar, kemampuan afektif, STM

Abstract

This research aims to test the influence of external pressures, environmental uncertainty, management commitment, leadership style, and accessibility of the financial statements for the application of the transparency of financial reporting. The location of this research is a unit of Work of regional Government of Pelalawan Device. The technique of collecting samples in this research is done by using a purposive sampling method with the total sample as much as 64 respondents. Types and sources of data are the primary and secondary data. Methods of data analysis done with test of normality, validity, reliability, multikolinieritas, heteroscedastisity, autocorrelation. This research hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. Test tools top of hypothesis test is a test t, F and the coefficients of determination (R2). The tools used were SPSS statistics version 20.00. The results showed that variable of external pressure (1,7%), management commitment (2,5%), environmental uncertainly (20,2%), leadership style (1%), accessibility the financial statements (9%).Keywords : Transparency, External Pressure, Management Commitment, and Accessibility.

Abstract

Kegiatan pemberdayaan Kelompok Perempuan Nelayan di Desa Bawolowalani Kecamatan Teluk Dalam Kabupaten Nias Selatan dilaksanakan selama 5 bulan dari bulan Juli-November 2021. Jumlah khalayak sasaran ini adalah sebanyak 50 orang, berusia 30-55 tahun. Selanjutnya dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini akan melibatkan 5 orang tokoh masyarakat Desa Bawolowalani, kepala desa, kepala dusun serta beberapa pemuda Desa Bawolowalani dalam melakukan koordinasi, kerjasama dan dalam memelihara ketertiban jalannya kegiatan. Pelaksanaan program Pemberdayaan Kelompok Perempuan Nelayan Berbasis Digital Mother School sebagai Andil Modern dalam Manajemen Strategis Akibat Pembelajarang Daring dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan yakni: Tahapan Persiapan, Tahapan Pelaksanaan dan Tahapan Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kepedulian Kelompok Perempuan Nelayan dan juga masyarakat terhadap kondisi sosial dan pendidikan masyarakat Desa Bawolowalani, menciptakan kader-kader di masyarakat di Desa Bawolowalani, terbentuknya kelompok dan kelembagaan dengan berbagai mitra di Desa Bawolowalani, menghasilkan kerjasama Kelompok Perempuan Nelayan dan masyarakat Desa Bawolowalani dengan pemerintahan desa dan perguruan tinggi, keterlibatan rekan-rekan mahasiswa serta dosen-dosen dalam melakukan pengabdian masyarakat serta terjadinya proses implementasi mata kuliah di desa. Hasil program ini telah mampu menumbuhkan semangat antusias Kelompok Perempuan Nelayan dalam mengikuti kegiatan Digital Mother School sehingga menciptakan kepedulian terhadap masalah pendidikan. Di, samping telah menciptkan mahasiswa yang dalam hal ini melalui organisasi bersama lembaga perguruan tinggi masuk kedalam sendi-sendi kehidupan masyarakat dalam mengaktualisasikan pengalaman serta ilmu agar terbentuknya sinergitas yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Village Government is an institution tasked with protecting and regulating communities in certain areas, by Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning villages. One of the important roles of village government is to support the empowerment of children, which is an important aspect in achieving community welfare. This study aims to illustrate the role of village government in empowering children in Ononamolo Talafu Village, Nias Regency. The focus of this research is to understand how the role of village government in supporting learning houses as a basis for empowering children and supporting factors. The theory on which Mintzberg (1989) bases Role theory, which includes interpersonal roles, informational roles, and decision-making roles. With a qualitative approach, this study uses observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. This study concludes that the active role of village government has a major influence in supporting the empowerment of children through learning houses.
